A day off in Salmon Idaho (TW200s and a Trail 125 on the Tour of Idaho)

- Alright guys, after about 8 days camping in the backcountry, and a super long previous day in the saddle, fighting a storm. It was time for a hotel and a day off. Come hang out with us as we stroll around Salmon Idaho, do some much needed maintenance on the tdubs, and check out some local attractions. Salmon was nestled in between some towering mountain ranges, full of friendly folks, and a perfect place for a day off!

Ha! We love it man!!! Check out a few of the older ones here at home. We are on the east coast and this was a trip we took out west to Idaho. Almost 3k miles from home!!! Appreciate you watching, this was a fantastic adventure to an old gold mine a buddy of mine has the claim to in the Sawtooths. An absolute stunning place! We spent 7 days with him showing us around!!

It was so nice man! Perfect weather. Got up early for breakfast, washed up the bikes, got Kotys fixed up and rode up in the hills! Main street Salmon turned into those trails! What a place dude! Great little place for dinner as well! Thanks for watching man!!!
Neat to see as we've yet to make it north of Challis. Salmon is defiantly on our radar and need to get there next visit for sure. Lot's of single track, jeep roads, and general exploration. Thanks for sharin!
Yes sir! Leaving there headed north, we ride some fantastic trail up to the Montana border man. We jumped on 93 briefly and took a picture of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch and then back on the trail in Lolo. Lolo motorway and Lochsa Lodge is a must to check out. Best Huckleberry pancakes you'll ever eat up in those parts!! Thanks for watching man!!
Did you swing by the spot where the original CT’s were modified into trail/hunting bikes? They took off like wildfire right there in Salmon and the rest is history!

Thanks man. So the story I got was that was in Boise. The fellow was Herb Uhl, and he had the 2nd Honda dealer in the country. There's a great interview with him done recently on the "small bike stuff" YT channel. I've also heard it was in Salmon as well, not sure why. I'll find that video and link it for you. It's fantastic.

@@PSBEadventures You are right and I actually knew better. I just got my Idaho cities and CT history mixed up. I am quite sure more than a few of Herb's bikes made it to Salmon though!

Great stuff - happy times! Can you share where you sourced the plastic cases on one of the TW's & the Trail 125? Been looking for something like that to mount on my KLR.
