i’ve always been confused on how to pic the sniper class
@@roiu. you need to have someone start the squad as spotter, then you join them to be the sniper. Its a bit of a pain in the rear, since if your spotter drops connection or something, someone else can grab the spotter and kick you out of the squad. Then you revert back to rifleman for stat/exp accumulation, and you have the scoped rifle only for that life.
So you need a friend, who will be the spotter, lock it so you can get in, then work with you for the whole map. That is why the sniper class is the only one other than medic where I am not lvl 10. Im like lvl 7 on sniper.
It’s crazy it took this long to create a realistic version of a war game. One hit kills, no scopes reflecting light that doesn’t exist, realistic damage to explosions. I need this game
Glares off scopes do exist but in reality it's not 24/7 like it is in COD.
One of the greatest bits about this game is the friendliness. When I first started I was somehow an officer(didn’t know what I was doing) but had a super friendly squad telling me how to talk and do things; and then the officer chat was even more wholesome telling me how to play and keeping me involved. Was truly an awesome first game experience. After playing for almost a year, I have noticed some people have been getting more toxic, my guess is they’re coming from CoD lmao.
I had just started playing the game a few days ago when I noticed someone in command chat saying they needed someone to run support in their squad for supplies so I'm like okay, haven't really done that before but I wanna help ya know? So as soon as I join this guy tells me to "drop my supplies as soon as I spawn" so I did, thinking he'd find them and then he starts barking at me to redeploy so I do, he runs up to me and starts yelling at me to drop my supplies, I told him dude there's a cool down I already dropped them lol and so he gets mad and says "yeah you probably didn't drop it anywhere near me" and started sighing real heavy into the mic acting like I wasn't just doing what I was asked.
So I left the squad and hunted him down and shot him for being a dickhead before I left the server lmaoo

COD and Battlefield players couldn’t hang in this game. You can’t get away with getting shit from behind 5 times and still being able to turn around to kill your attacker. That’s the stuff that made me stop playing those ridiculous games. There’s no turning around when you get shot from behind in this game. Ha ha
COD players won’t stick around for this game. It’s a totally different mindset and a totally different player base. It’s very obvious when they join in on your team. They will mindlessly run in a straight line to the next objective and die repeatedly trying it over and over again. They have no use for communication because for them, there’s nothing to communicate about. Run, try to kill people, die, repeat. This game doesn’t support or reward that style at all, so I think for the most part we’ll see those types of players come and go. A great thing about this game is you can kick people out of your squad, and you can mute and block them to avoid interacting with a bad player that has a shitty attitude. Team work, communication and positivity is infectious, and this game greatly rewards and incentivizes that behavior. I have a hard time thinking of a more rewarding and enjoyable game to play than when you get into a good squad with a good commander. It’s elite multiplayer gaming, that is almost the antithesis to COD. The game won’t be ruined by COD players, because COD players won’t stick around and invest their time into a game where K/D is completely meaningless, patience and strategy are a requirement, and the player base is significantly more mature than the COD player base. Basically there’s nothing in it for them, so I believe they’ll be gone to the wayside. And the players who DO have interest in this style of gaming, will only galvanize and become more dedicated as it’s one of the more unique and thoughtful games on the market. It’s not your standard shooter.
The headshot sound of the helmet ping will NEVER get old.
Yeah, even when they aren't wearing a helmet (8:19). I guess the ping is from hitting their fillings, or a metal plate in their head. :^D

It doesn't take much to be better than every AAA title right now but I do agree. Haven't had a game this good in about a decade.

Even then, we are underestimating that statement. AAA studios are disappointed with themselves right now, and it's showing

I remember getting the sniping class with a random person and we went on a massacre. Literally the best duo i've ever been in, dude was spotting people left and right and I felt like Enemy at the gates lol

The way you play it is the way it remains fun. If you got to know more about the game you understand it better and recognize people's insane incapabilities. You either have to do your own thing and have fun or play with decent players who actually build more than 1 garrisson per game.
But when both teams kinda know what's happening its great 👍
The vast majority of my games are competitive. The only good thing about uncompetitive games is that they are over pretty quickly. You'll either get steam rolled or find yourself constantly running to the next objective

It really is. I had some down time over the winter and was so hype for 2042. I expected that it would keep my busy.... that failed. Picked up HLL and absolutely love it.
It seriously is amazing how good this game is. But also sad how underrated and unknown it still is. I recently came over and started playing this game from Battlefield V (yes laugh at me all you want, but its still a better game that 2042). That was last week and I'm already level 33 in HLL. Been a blast ever since I started and cant stress enough how great the community is in the game. From day one I had people in each game and every squad I was in that were open to teaching me the basics and giving tips when they could. This game has to already be one of my favorite realistic military shooters and hands down one of my favorite WW2 games. Really hope the devs can continue support for the game through the next couple of years because it deserves to be one of the top games.
This & Insurgency sandstorm are all I'm playing right now. Finally got to play as a sniper for tge first time yesterday. 35 kills and numerous enemy garrisons destroyed. This game needs some work (I'm a console scrub) but I'm all in. Shoot straight fellas!

Find the aim on console to be well below par maybe it's just the performance in general but it's not as crisp as it could be definitely fixable tho
yeah the movement system is so much better than every AAA game, i also love the part where you have to wait for people to build garrisons and ops to join the action. so good.
Become a solution to the problem and build them yourself or place supplies.

i am a machine gunner ,I lay cover for the team to get across. The best moment was when i was in trenches and poping enemy team (the country starts with G) like zits soo fun.

I bought a ps5 just to play this game. The community is so nice, I’m totally new to the game and everybody helps me and give tips and stuff. Best ww2 shooter ever!
i play on PS5 too! totally agreed, only bummer is the number of times i join a server/squad where my team isn't talking -- but it usually takes another try or two to end up in a game where i'm having a blast working together with folks.

WOW freaking amazing, like Pvt Jackson's final stand in SPR.
The bullet drop looks so realistic vs other fps. I shoot scoped {targets not ppl} and those 400-600 yard shots with the timing and drift look spot on. Typically with my R700 .308 if i send one at 500 yards im able to get the 10-20 scope back to steady right as it splashes. Love the helmet DING for the headshots.
The spotter/sniper recon class looks super fun as well. Cant wait to get this game...ordering my new PC this week.
There are only 2 squads for the recon classes, gotta compete for it lol.

honestly this game has ups and downs, I bought this game since the day of release..
and during the time it had some updates and some improvements I will give you that,
but the optimization always being a problem and still is.. to me this is the best WWII game
I have ever played but this issue is disturbing.. I hope they will change it
I love the game. A little disappointed they have not corrected the many bugs in console that need addressing. For example, the intermittent coms and the grenade glitches.
PC has dealt with that forever. The nades animation is still a little glitched on PC when throwing, but the false throw rarely happens now.
When comms drop out when your on a waiting screen, go to the scoreboard screen and you’ll be able get it back immediately by selecting group/proximity/command chat
It still needs improvement (definitely needs some way to encourage team work) but all in all it is a very good foundation.

Was happy playing Enlisted but as soon as Hell Let Loose was available to X box series S,I had to get it and now I'm hooked
I’ve put 87 hours in and still not been able to snipe, but I’m absolutely fucking in love with this game.
The sound, the animation, one hit, one kill for upper torso shot everything is perfect. 😍
I have a question though, at 7:28 how did you know or see that there was a guy on the trench in the left that shot was impressive.

HLL is the best tactical shooter I've ever played, maybe ever will play. Amazing to me that such a game could be developed. Like any creation, it has its flaws, but they pale in light of its strengths. I've gamed since Thief/Half Life days and played some great games, but this is the game to beat, IMHO
I could agree with the title after playing 10 hours of this game. but now with 242 hours I can overwhelmingly agree with this title.

Really thinking of trying this out. I e been huge into Enlisted but this seems more authentic.
This is on a whole other level. Played enlisted for a long time and stumbled into this game by chance and I’ve yet to play enlisted again. It’s a significantly better game by almost every metric and the strategy and teamwork incentives built into it really give it longevity and depth.
This is by far the most immersive FPS i've ever played, have owned the game for a year now and have tried multiple times to get into but just couldn't. Finally took the time to try to learn tonight and within 3 matches i was doing very well. Uninstalled warzone, and vangard and this is now my grind.

I've been playing this game since day one, this one and Holdfast are the only two games I play online, the only problem for me on Hell let Loose is the server waiting.
I genuinely couldn’t agree more the only reason I got the new series console and this game is because of you been playing for a week now and not once regretted it
The only thing that needs work IMO is the leveling system and just a bunch of bugs with driving vehicles and the cross-platform voice chat other than that love this game
Another thing that is not clearly explained in the game is the structure of communication like the unit members need to tell the squad leads what they are seeing then the squad leads can tell commander if that happens and call outs are accurate its a great time
My only wish is that they would make the aim a little better on console and fix server lag.

I've hated every AAA release for a long time then I found RS2 Vietnam and that was really good but then I found HLL and its the first game I ever played for 1050 hours
It is I have almost 500 hours now!
This game is the sole reason I’m saving money for a PS5. It was free on PS+ several months ago and I snagged it, but don’t have my own PS5. I was able to sign in on my roommate’s console and the game blew me away. Just a couple hundred off from being able to really join you all in game, and SO excited to finally try out the eastern front

Radio comms and the manual gameplay is great.
Audio is incomparable. A bombing run is so terrifying yet so beautiful

I love this game I started on pc which I was rusty at getting 30 kills max and now I got it on console and I’ve been dropping 50-60 kills a match! I love the pc version it introduced me to the game but I’m so much more viable on console!

I love the game, but I think it lost the pace a little. Feels like they deliberately or not slowed down the development, so I stopped playing. Wake me up in a couple of updates.

I'd love this game more if it didn't stutter all the time for me and have inconsistent frames normally I wouldn't mind but it gets me killed way to much having mediocre aim and stuttering is torture haha
