Only because he gave batman the titan disease not to mention that batman was dealing with more stuff besides the jokers ass if anything dealing with the Penguin and some of his gang as well as Ra's al gual as well took so much time to deal with that he didn't think about himself first if only he asked Alfred for a incomplete cure or something to have him last the night or for a couple of hours wouldn't be too hard to ask for right.

Throughout the story Batman comes so close to becoming the becoming the very thing he fights against but at the end he pulls through by sheer will and determination. One of the best portrayal of the character ever.

Even spiderman doesn't have nearly as many hidden details hidden in gameplay.

I always come back to UA-cam and watch Arkham Origins/Asylum/City/Knight videos that are recently uploaded. they was me and my younger brothers favorite. To the point when he got Arkham Knight he wouldn’t wanna play it without me. He passed back in January from a heart attack at 26. And we always said when it was grey & rainy out, we called it always “An Arkham Day” I gotten a Batman tattoo on my right wrist few years back and after he past I got for him Nightwing on my left Becuz we had Batman & Nightwing shirts. He was my best friend, and I’ll miss him every day. I love you Jacob, me and your daughters will miss you every day never forget u, and you’ll always be the Nightwing to my Batman. 😢💔
AA, AC, AO and to an extent AK are all absolutely brilliant games. Nothing will ever been asylum and city for me personally but my god what a franchise. Never will be matched again
Arkham Knight deserves just as much praise. Especially when comparing it to AO. In my opinion AO is just a lazy AC clone that didn’t add much in terms of gameplay other than shock gloves

Great story though and I love how it felt actually dark again like asylum in a sense. City never had that unnerving vibe to it apart from maybe wonder city.

People saw it in Asylum and started imagining what it could be like in a map big enough for the batmobile, not a car/tank/wall climber/tracker/whatever the hell else. And even if it was gonna be what it is, why would you make the death stroke fight the exact same as the cloudburst? Just for one example of how it detracted from what should’ve been great moments.
When you lose to freeze you get one of the COLDEST ( pun intended) death screens ever . “I will avenge you Batman it’s what you would have done for me”
I love how acrobatic batman is in the series. In asylum he obly did flips during evades or certain attacks and they were slow, but in city the guy can give the flying graysons a eun for their money. I play each game for certain aspects. Asylum for atmosphere, City for the story and structure, origins for the dungeons and boss fights, and knight for gameplay.
17:41 City's boss fights were a big improvement over Asylum's where apart from the Scarecrow bits and the Croc and Ivy fights most of them were "throw Batarang at Titan monster then punch it."
I think Arkham Origins has the best boss battles in the series, in my opinion. But Arkham City was an improvement over Asylum in every way, including the boss fights. The Mr. Freeze boss fight was a game changer.
@@moshymosh have you seen the reactions from Arkham UA-camrs that played it? They were all blown away by it. It's not just for one game either, this year alone we have Metro, Alien, Hitman, Wanderer and Behomoth coming out as well as Arkham Shadow VR is stacked.

Calender man has different dialoges on one holiday every month that you are supposed to wait one year to complete tho it's easier to change your devices time. After all the holidays calender mans story is revealed.
Just replayed this along with Asylum. Though I've always loved City more, I think now that I am older after replaying it, I am appreciating the vibes, the old school linearity and the atmosphere of the Asylum more. Both are masterpieces.

I have a list of game series' that I'll replay either every 2 or 3 years, depending on series length and how much side stuff there is to do... So last month I finished the Arkham series again after failing to play it on it's last rotation due to events IRL, so it had been a minute since I replayed any of them. Couldn't help but appreciate how expansive the combat actually is and how that along with the world massively expanded with each game. The combat especially, seeing as how much you're going to enjoy it will pretty much depend on how well and fast your Brain reacts along with having good memory retention on ALL the capabilities of your gadgets. By Arkham Knight, pulling off those hitless battles and especially bosses gave you a feeling akin to getting a Full Combo (100%) on a Guitar Hero song. Especially after masterfully setting up an arena full of tricks and traps, all without the enemy knowing. Really amazing game, they nailed the characters too. And I think many people can't really appreciate how good the combat actually is, I've even met a few people who call it "Barebones" compared to other games that use that same beat em' up style. Which is strange IMO since Knight introduced weapon useage for the people who wanted that. I do recommend playing on Hard though, no matter the game simply investing in the perfect strike ability will 1-2 hit the majoity of enemies and it gets boring very quickly seeing as that's one of the first skills you'll probably get.

I pre ordered the steel book version of this game as a kid and it did not have the Catwoman sections, i always wondered why there were red catwoman trophies i couldnt pick up and certain sections of the map locked off to batman until 2013 when i decided to buy the game of the year edition version too just for the harley quinns revenge dlc which is when i realised that you could play as catwoman too in certain parts of the story and all those questions about locked off areas were answered and it blew my mind
I also started with AC and now I finished them all 100%, absolutely LOVE these series. Back when Rocksteady had people who worked with Passion and love. I recently went back to all of them, so I hope you do more videos on these series.
I've replayed only AK until now, because the movement is the easiest there and there's nothing i don't love about it, so you didn't have to do me like that 3 minutes after the videos starting. By that i mean making making me download the damn AC again and playting it.
Asylum was another studio tho, although i also liked it. specially the deathstroke bossfight which is still the best of all the games in my opinion besides mr freeze
JIC, you're not aware, there is a hidden area in the first Arkham game that hinted at then Warden Sharpe's plan for what became Arkham City. Just prior to Arkham City's launch DC published a miniseries set in that universe called The Road to Arkham City, which set up the events prior to the start of the game.

I absolutely love the Spider-Man games but I still think the arkham games are the king of superhero games period.

This was the first Arkham game I played I had it for the Wii u and played origins on the PS3 religiously origins it's still my favorite

I played this before Asylum or Knight. Enjoy it a lot more than Asylum though that’s a good game too.
Asylum was another studio tho, although i also liked it. specially the deathstroke bossfight which is still the best of all the games in my opinion besides mr freeze

This game is the reason I got the Xbox 360. Then I picked Asylum 2 month later.
My only regret is not playing origins when I had the chance.

Batman arkham City was my first batman game. I did not play arkham Asylum fast either. The Mister freeze boss fight was annoying when I was a kid

JIC, you're not aware, there is a hidden area in the first Arkham game that hinted at then Warden Sharpe's plan for what became Arkham City. Just prior to Arkham City's launch DC published a miniseries set in that universe called The Road to Arkham City, which set up the events prior to the start of the game.
