hi. impenetrable thorns is a sorcery not an incantation, so you should be using the graven-school or graven mass talisman to boost the damage not the flock's canvas talisman. this sorcery is a great way to beat messmer, though. cheers!

Dude the thorns are weak unless used by the staff of the guilty that runs off FAITH.

I did exactly what you said and the damage was less than half of what faith powered guilty staff did with the flock talisman.
