Nice video. I don't think the shuttle driver ripped you off. I did an internship in your country years ago and there were no shuttles like that except those provided by the Company. If you missed the shuttle you had to go back home or get a taxi which would be about $20. So it's great that the driver has that shuttle service. After all ot is a wealthy neighborhood that caters to tourists. Thanks for the video.

Kurdeige you must be guarded in your comments because many are watching and listening and it may affect the driver's ability to make a living . From Gros islet to Smugglers cove can actually cost more even on a minibus

Hi Kurdeige. The name of the beach is Smugglers cove(speaks for itself) and not Naked fisherman. That title is the name of the restaurant opened by Cap Maison. Before the restaurant it was a beach where many locals frequented up intil they built the restaurant then locals stopped bathing there in the numbers that used to before.
Wow! Thanks a lot Richie for the context. “Smugglers Cove”…I’m more curious of the history now.
Well it was used back in the day for smuggling all sorts of contraband. Cap estate was not always built up as it is now. It was actually pretty remote and police coverage was low. It was before my birth but mom told me about it as our great, great grandfather owned hundred of acres in cap at that time. The area is also called Pointe Du Cap.

Hello 🙂, I am not familiar with the renting world on the island. You can visit the “I Love St. Lucia” public Facebook page to ask your question. I am sure Saint Lucians (and precious visitors to the island) on there would have the knowledge and resources to point you in a good direction.
$20 IS ALOT. However take into consideration you were the only passengers so it was like a taxi trip.

What is the price of fair from town...yes he is a shuttle he is working it is two of u and maybe he has a time frame.I don't think he ripped u my girl,u got there safe and enjoyed yourself give thanks
I can’t remember exactly but about $5 XCD in total from the city to the mall and then the mall to the shuttle bus stop.
