Hi beautiful viewer! Today’s vlog documents Part 1 of our journey to the world’s only drive-in volcano located on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. This trip is one of the most popular Saint Lucian family excursions. Always a time for bonding and learning more about our island home. Let me also share this authentic experience with you. Don’t forget to let me know of your memories of fun times or if you have a question feel free to ask in the comment section.

Do they still having a lot of military checkpoints between Castries to the south on the East part of highway?
There are no checkpoints along the east or west coast.
@@KurrdeigeLenora thanks. I remember back in July when I was driving from Gros Islet to Micoud, along East highway, maybe near Dennery there were three military checkpoints at that time, it wasn’t ease. Wasn’t sure what the campaign was for. But thank you for the information 😊good videos.
I was hoping you would put the name of each community you all passed through on the screen.
Hi Anna-Marie, I did put the names of communities that were highlighted in the vlog. If I captured the entire journey from start to finish without turning off the camera at some points, I would definitely put the names. Patience-Malgretoute-Micoud-La Ressource-Ceidar Heights-Laborie-Piaye-Choiseul we’re those I highlighted. 😊I’m just realizing the supermarket is located in La Tourney, Vieux Fort (missed that one)
Y’all not scared to lean on the back of the tailgate like that?
Good question! 😄 We are used to riding this way and we trust that the tailgate is secured. But that is a very valid fear to have.
