Here is the first episode of my thru-hike of the HexaTrek in 2022. This thru-hike is brand new and crosses France by its mountains and prettiest villages for 3000km.
Follow me along as I trailblaze it on this documentary series that will show you my journey, but also the people I met around the trail.
This episode takes us from Wissembourg to Barr, 200km of the trail. Expect to see castles, trail magic, and a vicious fight against a wild animal.

I am no longer part of the HexaTrek team following internal incidents, and I cannot advise you to support the HexaTrek Association the way it is going right now. That being said, the trail itself is amazing as long as you don't follow blindly the lines on the gpx. Use it as a global recommendation, but stick to the GRs as much as possible would be my advice. And enjoy, it's good out there.

I am absolutely hooked after watching the first episode of HexaTrek! The cinematography is breathtaking and the adventure is truly epic. I can't wait to see what's next on this 3000km journey through France. The storytelling is top-notch and I feel like I'm right there with the hikers, experiencing everything along the way. Last year I trhuhiked the Nord Süd Trail, the longest trail of Germany (3620 km) and i just realised that I did a Resupply at the Penny Market only 100 m or so away from the trailhead of the Hexa Trek. Who would have thought that these two tracks are so near to each other?

Oh ben c'est très chouette comme message ça, ça me fait chaud au coeur merci beaucoup ! Et pour la prépa physique, faut juste augmenter sa résistance à la bière et au saucisson et ça va bien se passer. Trop cool que tu te lances sur les sentiers !

The trail looks super cool, definitely makes me excited for future episodes and maybe considering attempting it at some point if I move back to Europe.

The part with the pheasant cracked me up 😂 definitely subscribing to see the rest of the videos! I understand what you mean about stopping being your favorite part of walking. Of course, walking is beautiful as well, but nothing makes you appreciate rest more than strenuous movement!

une façon de raconter des histoires sans être spécifiquement au cœur de la marche, mais de ce qui l'entoure, te fait sourire, ou t’ennuie, c'est la meilleure des pub possible que l'on puisse faire pour les longues marches. Lorsque l'on sait que les longues marches sont un remède contre l'obscurantisme et la morosité, ton film devrait être remboursé par la sécurité sociale

Thank you! Well I'm a bit hesitant on sharing them for the moment, as I don't want them to become over-crowded. That being said they are all (almost) exactly on the HexaTrek so if you are walking along you can't miss them. in case you are curious about one specific location I can share that in private !
