Hi, if you bleed the air out of her system correctly, and hopefully you have the correct temperature thermostat? (I had a similar problem when a failsafe thermostat.was used, I replaced it with a non-failsafe and everything was fine.) But it could be a damage gauge? check the cooling hoses if they feel hot or use a infrared temperature reader to see if your engine temperature is where it should be versus the gauge reading. Also, check to see if the cooling fan comes on?
Hello, If your engine runs hot could be your cooling system faulty but it also could be a head gasket...first check the cooling system make sure there’s no air in the system after replacing the water pump check radiator for leaks make sure your cooling fan works and have a head gasket test done after all that, but for sure is not a timing chain causing the problem. Good luck!
Would it be ok to replace this I have 07 jgc laredo 181K miles w new cat system new radiator new alternator new water pump new battery I want to change it now b4 I get issues but my temp seems to work perfectly ok 👌🏽 just doing some preventative maintenance came across this issue from yt saw it on amazon $10 should I wait till I get issues or change now? Any response would be kindly appreciated yaal! 🤙
So there’s only one temperature sensor on 2010 grand Cherokee Laredo? I know some cars have two. Been having trouble with my coolant temperature codes. Replaced thermostat, burped and bled the coolant I don’t understand why the code keeps coming on and giving me check engine light and my temperature gauge on the dash is reading completely cold.
