"if we deny him, he also will deny us," serves as a warning about the consequences of turning away from the faith. Denying Christ, whether through overt rejection or a lack of commitment, ultimately leads to a denial by Christ himself. This echoes the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:33 - "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." It underscores the importance of standing firm in one's faith, even in the face of adversity and persecution.

    2 Timothy 2:12
    IF we endure,
we will also reign with him.
    IF we disown him,
    he will also disown us;
IF we deny Him he will deny us.
IF you walk away from the Savior rejecting Him you are damned.
He will renounce you. Matthew 10:33
But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.
    2 Timothy 2:13
    IF we are faithless,
    he remains faithful,
    for he cannot disown himself.
IT does not mean He will remain faithful to you otherwise deny in v-12 would mean nothing.
IF you are faithless and throw it away, you're not a believer.
He is faithful to Himself. The way he vindicated Himself is by throwing you out.
God values His trustworthiness and IF you decide I'm going to go my own way to a life of sin you no longer trust in Him.
He's faithful to the worth of His name. The way God vindicates His trustworthiness to those who reject it, its called hell.
Don't fool yourself with your unbelief by thinking God's still faithful to me
He is faithful He cannot deny Himself, that's who He is faithful to.
IF you hold to Jesus saying you are trustworthy you are everything to me, acknowledge you're just a hopeless sinner He cannot deny you. Your security is as firm as His allegiance is to His name.

Salvation is not a rewards for obedience and loss of rewards for disobedience.
You are teaching a works based salvation. You say do good you get rewards, live a life of disobedience that contradicts God's character, and you lose rewards, but you can't lose your salvation.
We are saved by grace through repentance which is the consequence of faith.
      You must put in context.
This is another place that debunks OSAS.
      Titus 3:5-8
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, WE SHOULD BE MADE HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. 8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that THOU AFFIRM CONSTANTLY, that they which have believed in God might be CAREFUL TO MAINTAIN GOOD WORKS. These things are GOOD and PROFITABLE unto men.
      Again context is key.
      Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus FOR GOOD WORKS, which God prepared beforehand that WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM.
      Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, ZEALOUS OF GOOD WORKS.
We are saved by Faith and not works however we are not saved IF our Faith does not work.

Kindly, this is incorrect. A tree is known by its fruit. Fruit is us doing the Father's good will. Jesus said we cannot enter Heaven, if we are not known. The teaching in this video also sets you up to be lackadaisical/lukewarm, not properly addressing the weightier matters of faith. Romans 6:1-2 says that even believers are forbidden to sin. Those who believe and then sin afterward will receive a more sore punishment than those who never believed at all. Listen, devils believe, but they go to Hell. So believeing is not the determining factor. It is what we do afterward. The New Testament says we are to be God's law doers and that those who obey will then have the Holy Spirit. Pay close attention: Per Romans 8:5-13, sinners walk after the Carnal Mind, when they sin, because they cannot obey God in those times. However, we are to walk after the Holy Spirit with the Spiritual Mind. The teaching in this video disregards this network of understandings that reveals cascading errors, when you apply all of God's Word.

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
      1 John 2:1”
Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Romans 7:24
we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 1 John 1:8
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. Galatians 5:4
but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Romans 7:23
Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
I am sorry but sinless works based salvation isn’t possible in this life, however I do agree with you that we should strive to enter the narrow gate continuously, bare much fruit with Jesus’s help etc..

As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve him with a loyal heart and a willing mind, for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek him he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever....scripture says some will depart from the faith, when someone departs from the faith they forsake God so like Solomon they will be cast off forever. Like the prodigal son we can walk away from our father and our inheritance and once again be spiritually dead. We can realize our mistakes repent and return and be welcome home by God, but what about those who don't repent and return, they have forsaken God. There is a difference between being saved made alive spiritually in the beginning and being resurrected unto life when Christ returns judgement our resurrection final salvation event.....

    • @myflourishingfam
      @myflourishingfam  12 днів тому

If 1 Chron 28:9 was Solomon loosing his salvation, note the verse says he would be forsaken FOREVER with no chance of him being restored. Solomon did leave God in the latter part of his life, as 1 Kings 11:1-13 shows he built shrines to pagan gods so his wives could burn incense to them. That's quite a departure. As a result, the kingdom was taken from his son as 1 Kings 11:11 says "Wherefore the Lord said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant." This wasn't Solomon loosing his salvation, but his legacy. When he built the shrines, it says in verse 4 "and his heart was not perfect with the Lord HIS God". God was still his God. In verses 11-13 God didn't tell him he lost his salvation and was hellbound, but that the kingdom would be given to another.
That's exactly what was warned about in 1 Chron 28:7-8 when David told Solomon to be faithful to the Lord. David relayed God's message to Solomon. "Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day. Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave [it] for an inheritance for your children after you for ever." That's the context that immediately precedes verse 9, where David says, "if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever." The context is that his dynasty would be cast off, which is exactly what happened historically. If Solomon were cast off, then you shouldn't expect to see him in heaven because the casting off you refer to is forever. Even having written much of Proverbs, some Psalms, Ecclesiastes, and having unparalleled wisdom (except for Jesus), he ended up in hell? No one in their right mind would say he's in hell.
The Prodigal wasn't forsaken (and certainly not forever) by his father when he left. Even in a state of separation and waywardness he was still the father's son, though completely out of fellowship and the blessings, peace and joy that come with it.

@myflourishingfam when we come to God by the grace of God through faith God makes us alive spiritually who were once dead in trespasses and sin. God delivers us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of his son. That's just the beginning our conversion our Ephesians2:8 salvation event. Everyone who has been converted has this salvation event in their past and cannot lose an event. When Jesus returns judgement our resurrection, that's also a salvation event and hasn't happened yet it's in our future our final salvation event. That's why it not only matters if we believe remain faithful to Christ. It also matters how we live our walk our righteousness now in this lifetime. Has nothing to do with keeping Torah laws or working for anything. After our conversion salvation event we abide in the doctrine of Christ.....and this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life. And this life is in his son. He who has the son has life, he who does not have the son of God does not have life....whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the father and the son.....eternal life is in Christ not in ourselves. As long as we abide in the doctrine of Christ we have life in Christ now. When Jesus returns judgement our resurrection, that's when we are resurrected unto life and have life in ourselves like Christ....for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order Christ the firstfruits afterwards those who are Christ at his coming....and as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for him he will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.....many can only see the beginning our conversion salvation event but cannot see the end when Christ returns judgement our resurrection final salvation event. Everyone will face judgement when Christ returns according to their own faith together with their actions how they have lived not just faith alone or imputed righteousness of Christ. Only one final judgment when Christ returns same final salvation event for everyone. Salvation is an event like your birthday not a possession and eternal life is a possession that we actually receive when we are resurrected unto life when Christ returns judgement our final salvation event.....marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which all who are in the Graves will hear his voice and come forth those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.....Jesus said everyone in his kingdom now those converted made alive spiritually in the beginning will not enter the kingdom of God in the end....the son of man will send out his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. He who has ears to hear let him hear....many can't hear understand, they cannot see the kingdom of God or scripture pertaining to entering the kingdom of God in the end when Christ returns judgement our resurrection final salvation event......

@@Humblestudent04 So in short, you believe that your behaviour/works play a massive, if not essential, part of your eternal salvation? You'd have to admit then that Solomon ended off in hell. Is God's grace is only for initial salvation, but then it's all on you? That's quite a burden to bear. His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matt 11:30), but I can't see what you're proposing being an easy burden, but a terrifying one.
Despite 1 Cor 1-15 being a massive rebuke for all the sin, carnality and heresy in that church, Paul told them in 1 Cor 1:7-8 "...waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ." Paul had no doubt they would be in heaven, because he knew that Jesus would confirm them. In 1 Cor 15:51-52 that they'd ALL go in the rapture. The rapture is only for believers.
It's true that God demands righteous perfection, but the righteousness that God demands is the righteousness that God provides. "And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness" Rom 4:5. It's NOT of works/performance, but of faith. Those in Dan 12 who do righteousness are those with sincere faith in God, otherwise you could just live a clean life and get in the door, as faith in the Messiah (Jesus) isn't mentioned in Dan 12.

@myflourishingfam everyone will face judgement when Christ returns according to their own faith together with their actions how they have lived not just faith alone or imputed righteousness of Christ. That's according to scripture not me. There is no scripture that says faith alone saves us at our final salvation event when Christ returns judgement. Scripture says some will depart from the faith. When someone departs from the faith they forsake God and if they don't repent and return then they will not enter the kingdom of God in the end. Not going to argue or debate with you or anyone else. The truth is we must turn from wickedness to live and we must remain faithful till the end. Jesus said, He who rejects me and does not receive my words, has that which judges him, the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.....whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the father and the son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine do not receive him into your house nor greet him, for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds....anyone that brings the once saved always saved unconditionally doctrine doesn't bring the doctrine of Christ its the doctrine of the serpent, go ahead eat you won't surely die. Someone comes to your house knocks at the door and says they want to come in and you said no I'm denying you entry into my house at your house you're denying them means they're not welcome into your house!! I'm going to make this very simple he won't deny we can definitely deny him and walk away from him does 100% biblical was speaking about someone who comes to him of course he's never going to cast them away!! But if we cast him away and deny him have denied our only way to heaven which is Jesus!!! Now if Jesus met what you say he would have said If you deny me I would deny you to the father and you will be denied your Rewards!!! But he doesn't say this because he doesn't mean it taking this out of context adding words that's not there cannot add words to the Bible plagues in the Bible will be upon you you need to be very careful here deceiving people speak the truth if you want to speak the truth tell it the way it is in the Bible 100 % because people's blood will be on your hands for the false Doctrine teaching!!!

@myflourishingfam and I think you're not understanding the Bible very well!! If you believe in Jesus and you have faith in Jesus you are saved!!! But if you deny Jesus Christ as your lord and savior then who's going to save you? Won't be Jesus!! So the atheists themselves they deny Jesus they deny that Jesus died on the cross for their sins they deny faith so I guess they are all saved as well? I mean if you really really want to go stupid with this and really go against the Bible you can also say that the demons and the devil are saved as well because they also deny Jesus but they're not going to get rewards in heaven though!!! The atheist is saved as well cuz you don't even have to have faith and belief in Jesus they have already denied him so I guess they are saved as well? Your false Doctrine teaching doesn't work Bible does not back up with you are preaching taking things out of context and adding words to it you can try to prove a point the point that you are proving is you're deceiving people!!! You cannot deny your only way to heaven!!! And that's the devil's got you convinced there's another way if you do deny Jesus you can still go but I hate to break the news to you Jesus is the way the truth and the life there is no other way!!!!!

Once you say you're eternally secure, everyone throws all these scriptrures at you so I thought it wise to cover those first (it also saves me a lot of time answering critics in the comments!).
