- 3.0 version of my Leatherman Tool Pouch based EDC Tool Kit. This version adds a Volty Switch Meter, Knipex Plier Wrench, 711L Ratchet and a Bausch and Lomb Magnifier.
This video is for entertainment purposes, use these tools at your own risk.
At the end of the Klein Socket discussion I mistakenly referred to it as Knipex. The sockets are Klein Tools.

I bought the pouch thanks to your review and kit, and made my own of course
Leatherman Surge, Olight S2 Baton (old model), Knipex Cobra 125, IFIXIT driver, Wera mini ratchet, Leatherman extender, Gerber Impromptu pen, and then i glued some ruber cases together to keep the saws, and bits for all the drives, i can't find the double ended bits from wiha for less then 50 euros where i live, so i make due with the ones that came with the ratchet.
Wear it every day to work
Wow, that is great to hear!
Excellent kit, explanation, & video. Thanks.
Thanks
Awesome kit! For the Micro bits, I would maybe look into the Hoto Precision Screwdriver 24 in One. It uses 12 double sided Micro bits and is roughly the same size as your Wiha, and the bits are laid out within the handle, so no dumping bits out to find what you need.
I will take a look, thanks.
I have one on order, I am interested to see if the double ended bits will work in the adapter that also lets me use them with the ratchet and surge.
If the adapter you are using is the Wiha adapter, it will work, but the bits are a little wobbly in there, I just checked mine. I took a knife apart with mine to test and the bit stayed in and was useable. You will have to see if the wobble is acceptable to your use. It is a nice screwdriver regardless. @@ScottenJonesVideo
@@kismitscorner the bits don’t work in the Wiha adapter, they are too long and when you put them in the hex part of the bit doesn’t engage at all. You must have a different adapter than I do. They sort of fit in and the magnet grabs them, but you can’t use them to undo anything, they just spin in the adapter.
@@ScottenJonesVideo Hmm. Well sorry that it didn’t work for you. Mine has only the slightest engagement, so I am sure manufacturing tolerances are to blame. Regardless, it is a nice screwdriver for taking apart knives and such.
Thanks for sharing your setup, great video!
Thanks
Some great inspiration here! Do you mind sharing where you got the “small survival” patch for your maxpedition? I’d like to custom label my pouches so I can distinguish them. In wondering if that was custom or if you just happened to find it.
It is a custom patch I ordered through Amazon. I thought I had the link to it but apparently I missed it on this video. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CIEIN3G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Will the Raptor shears fit the wider side compartment?
Yes, as long as you take them out of the holster.
Have you considered a Nebo slim mini flashlight?
I had never heard of it before. I took a quick look, not sure how well it would fit plus it isn’t nearly as bright. I will look at it some more when I have time.
Thanks
@@ScottenJonesVideo I am a truck driver and I thought 250 lumens would be too little for me… But no, I was wrong! Super compact so I bring it daily, strong magnet and really sturdy pocket clip. I have exceeded all my expectations. ( I paid $12 on prime day) I’m not sure I would pay $20.
