New version of my Leatherman Tool Pouch based EDC Tool Kit. This version adds micro/precision bits, tweezers and an electronics pry tool for small electronics repair, a small adjustable wrench, a new pry bar, a ruler and makes other adjustments to the kit to enhance functionality.
Correction: I said Leatherman Mini when describing the Maxpedition Mini pouch.

I am in the middle of a two week camping trip in my camper, I have used this kits several times to open up sensors to change batteries, change the batteries in my daughters toy and inspect some plumbing. I find it to be useful and the compact size makes easier to grab and go than the full size tool bag I have with me.

Thanks, definitely my favorite EDC tool kit. I have my wife sewing some Velcro into it at the top and I am going to add a small magnifier held in place with Velcro so there may be a 3.0 video coming at some point.
Wow an amazing set up. Gives me ideas on how to set up my pouch. I am going to see if I can squeeze a 1/4" dr. socket set in there too. I like that ruler idea too. Thank you

For the mini bits i would go for the hoto screwdriver.
I had this discussion with someone about the 3.0 version of this kit. The problem with the Hoto screwdriver is the double ended bits don’t work with the Wiha adapter I use to allow the bigger tools to use the micro bits.
Leatherman pouch is not available in Australia despite it being made by Pacsafe a company founded by two Australians.
Contacted Leatherman in order to get some help obtaining the product on numerous occasions without reply. Thank you for your great review.
That stinks, I hope you find a way to get it.
The surge has a ruler on the inside of the handles.
Yes, someone else pointed that out too. I found it, I still like having a dedicated ruler in my kit because I don’t love the Surge ruler but it is kind of cool that it opens to about 8 inches.
