Hi, I just got my daytime orthotic and nighttime guard to help reposition my jaw into the right spot. It has helped so much with my clicking and grinding so far, but I was wondering if for the first 1-2 weeks of wearing it, if it’s normal to have soreness around my jaw area? Im assuming this is because it’s repositioning my jaw and it’s a lot for my body to take on, but is this usually normal early on when you first wear the appliance?
Should you always do the muscle release exercises even if you don’t feel pain? Do you just do it when in pain? Sometimes my pain is worse after and I don't know if i flare it up. Thanks

I cannot do treatment while your treat are actively moving. Sorry! Once Invisalign is over, then you can seek TMD treatment:)

Yes this can happen but it’s best to ask your TMJ dentist..

Is chewing gum bad for jaw pain because I not don't any chewing gum at all have good week at work
I wouldn’t recommend chewing gum.
