Ok Morris Moose... that song has a cool vibe to it. Wish there'd have been different lyrics/story for it. It's kinda like "1985" but a few years later. It's almost cooler as an instrumental. "Girls School" shoulda been a hit. Great tune. Also,, anybody else miss Denny being involved in Paul's albums? Always loved that guy's part of Wings albums.
Girls' School was a actually a moderate hit in the States. And that's one of the reasons Mull of Kintyre wasn't a hit. You see, Girls' School was the single flip side to Mull, and American dj's were either confused, or just plain liked Girls' better, because it got played a lot, made the charts, etc. Mull never did a thing here, although in the rest of the world, it was, of course, a HUGE hit. Outside the U.S., it was probably the biggest hit of the whole 1970s.
0:01 London Town (Promotional Edit Stereo Version) 3:45 Cafe On The Left Bank (Rough Mix) 6:52 I'm Carrying (Rough Mix) 9:36 I've Had Enough (Rough Mix) 12:41 With A Little Luck (Rough Mix) 18:40 With A Little Luck (Promotional Edit Stereo Version) 21:53 Famous Groupies (Rough Mix) 25:31 Deliver Your Children (Rough Mix) 29:48 Don't Let It Bring You Down (Rough Mix) 34:28 Morse Moose And The Grey Goose (Instrumental Rough Mix) 41:01 Mull Of Kintyre (Promotional Edit Version) 44:13 Girls' School (Promotional Commercial Edit Version) 47:29 Find A Way Somehow (Unreleased) 53:07 Waterspout (Studio Demo) 58:02 Backwards Traveller (Studio Demo) 1:01:44 After You've Gone (Studio Demo) 1:06:32 Boil Crisis (Studio Demo) 1:10:41 Jamaican Hilite (Studio Demo) 1:12:01 Mull Of Kintyre (Instrumental Studio Demo) 1:13:37 Mull Of Kintyre (Studio Demo)
Judging from this there won't be a great deal of additional material to be put out with any Archives release, whenever that is (2019 maybe?). I know he left before release but Jimmy's contributions make a real difference to London Town, one of my favourite Wings albums.....
Cheers! I am going to do some of your Beatle tag videos soon :) just have to work up the courage to vlog as I am an introvert and not very comfortable in front of the camera.
Sorry but it's clear that they recorded both Denny Laine's songs featured in this album by Paul,, Denny and Linda only... so my answer is: Denny Laine plays lead guitar himself in "children children" and "deliver your children" !
I like Paul (saw him in '76 and '89), but let's face it, the Beatles would never have ever put out an album like this. It IS rather fruity (as George used to say).
One of Wings best Albums, always loved it !! 😊❤
Rest in Peace Denny... Thanks for all the great memories..
I ve always loved that song (London Town) and Deliver Your Children is brilliant too, the ending sounds like America
Love hearing Famous Groupies, Deliver Your Children and Backwards Traveller especially in their early stages.

Thanks
grande album e pensare che mi ci sposato
Where do you get this stuff JMF?....it's brilliant!!!!!
Gràcies
one of my favs....some great unreleased tracks.....waterspout not among those : )
And I love Waterspout...to each his own...otherwise full agreement!
“With a little luck”, without the synthesizer sounds dull. I’m guessing they didn’t get the CS-80 until they were well into the sessions.

Original album better but very interesting. Thought it might be Perry Como sleeping through With a little luck.
