I really like that you identify options. The Distress Ink white is called Picket Fence.
Thank you! i was sure they must have a white, but ive never bought it
Lovely panels Sasha. No white in oxides. Hope you have a fabulous day for your son's birthday xx
well at least we know that a pale light colour works just as good :) wahooo. Thank you for the kind words
So good I watched it again today just so I could take notes 💕
Happy Birthday to your son🎂. He is sharing it with Mothers Day in Australia. Love this idea will find my background stamps🇬🇸
Yes it's the same in north America. I had to remember to order my mom some flowers in Canada. Happy mothers day if it applies to you :)
Yes it always seems strange that it isn’t the same day everywhere. Likewise, I think Father’s day is coming up in the UK soon. Ours is first Sunday In September
They look awesome Sasha. Another fabulous technique to try. But it will have to be when I get back from my TRIP TO THE UK! (I live in Australia)
Great techniques, thank you for sharing. There is a white in distress inks which is picket fence, they don't have this in the oxides. This is water reactive. X
TFS this beautiful technique. ❤
Hi Sasha, what a great video. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
thank you so much for watching it :)
Distress oxide picket fence is their only white. It has some pigment ink in it.
Nice technique thank you for sharing
Great technique definitely going to have a go, thank you 😊 Distress Oxides white is called Picket Fence.
Happy Birthday to your son. 😊🎉
Thank you, knew they must have a white, maybe i should get it ha ha. And thank you, i will pass on your message
@@SashaReade Yes definitely get it, you won't be disappointed with it and I love my Picket Fence ink for a heap of techniques 🙂
Great idea!
Happy birthday to your son! 🎉🎂

Happy Birthday to your son! I love the first few cards with those pops of color. TYSM for sharing!
Thank you so much
Nope. That’s it. You’re fired Sasha! How dare you… naaaa can’t even go there even jokingly lol. No need for apologies. Family should always come first, especially kids. Hope your son had an awesome birthday & you aren’t too exhausted 🥱 🥂 🍾 🎈 🎉
Haha, you gave me a chuckle. My son has had a great morning so far. We have a rule when it's you're birthday you pick what you want to do and eat for the day, So he's opened gifts and is currrently chatting to a friend and playing a game
Thank you for all the tips throughout the video. I also appreciate the using of the Distress Inks. For some 10 years or more, everyone who made videos, encouraged us to use Distress Inks of one type or the other. So, I saved and saved and bought as many as I could of the colors that I thought I would use. Nowadays, there are so many inks I cannot even recall all the brands that are promoted. My personal belief is that this has caused a dramatic increase in the costs to all cardmakers. Why does every store or brand think they have to have their own inks? This goes for lots of other supplies as well? It would be interesting to know how much money the best cardmakers have invested in each category of supplies they own. Most of us lowly cardmakers do not have that kind of money. There was a time when you shopped a short list of stores to purchase, say, inks. This is no longer the case. I miss those days. I am all for innovation and new products, but not at the consumer’s expense.
Money is why everyone wants their own line. I'm always amazed how many buy everything new. look at so many craft ram makeovers. They have junk of every thing in all craft categories. DO YOU!
Absolutely agree! I've got a small collection of Distress Oxides and they do everything I need, beautifully.
@@insanity6829 I think you are agreeing. I cannot afford but so many supplies, so I am not tempted as much as others.
Honestly i would love to try all the inks out there and see which ones are the nicest to work with. But i just havent got that kind of money. Ive bought a few different ones to try, random colours from brands. But I always need the ink refills as well as i hate nothing more than an ink pad that goes dry, but that gets expensive fast. And most companies with inks are nearly all based in America, and really not easy for the rest of the world to get ahold of.
I love the distress inks as they are available world wide, nearly every craft shop sells them, and they're reasonably priced.
I cant afford a whole set of other brands so i'll always have distress inks to hand :)
I feel you though, I have a hard time seeing others online using really great looking inks, but every time I think i'd love to try them, im reminded it would bankrupt me to invest in more inks ha ha. And then, where on earth would i put them!
There are new colours that have come out for the versafine claire inks, and im so excited as they are the other core staple ink in my stash, and they have NEVER brought out new colours. So i will definitely invest in them
@@SashaReade Thank you for taking the time to reply. I was sorting trying to get at why the cost of inks, stamps, dies, etc. have increased so much. I spoke to one small online store owner that told me she was unable to compete any longer as she had offered products at lower prices. I believe this is happening today as crafters are being pushed to buy products from China, etc. I, personally have to look at my budget and realize I am unable to buy a stamp or die set for prices that are just exorbitant...$35 to $50. I might only have $200 for the entire year. Before the Chinese stores were available to us in the United States, I would only purchase any product during Black Friday sales. I have come to the conclusion that our major stores in the US could put out far less to choose from per month and drastically reduce the costs. Why do they have to have 100 stamp sets and dies per month? What was wrong when they had a half or a quarter of that amount?
Fun ❤
great technique, TYFS
Thank you
