Never noticed until now the similarities between Bomb Man and Metal Man: >Both throw objects as means for attacking. >Both jump around ad their only means of movement.
that first match with Centaur was so cool the way he used Centaur Flash to make sure Metal Man got hit by the buster, and then ran to get out of the way of the Metal Blade at the last second
Wow, Centaur Man actually can win matchups! Also, that Metal Man vs Ice Man matchup was edge-of-your-seat tight. It's crazy that Ice Man only emerged victorious a single time when looking at the two featured bouts.
seeing yamoto man strugle to catch his lance head in the conveirl belts is really funny, could watch a video og just him trying to pass a bunch of thouse to reach his lance lol
Bomb man clutching wins is always nice to see. Especially since he was the only one to win without shields or just. Really fucking with Metals AI, nice one Centaur
It's specifically because he's programmed to react to movement, so teleporting doesn't set him off, and if Centaur gets his contact damage, well then...
It would make sense considering they're both CAPCOM games, but Yamato Man and Centaur Man's shot soundbyte sounds exactly the same as Drake's gas gun from Darkwing Duck.
This makes me very curious, what if Metalman would actually run forward if he wasn't on a conveyor belt instead of running in place? I know he officially runs in place in the Wily stage 5 rematch, but I'm just curious about the idea of him running forward instead
Centaur man and many mm6 RMs in general depend on contact damage with their attacks. Since this is a special animation, it can have damage cause it's an exception
By technically, Centaur Man actually does have a disadvantage without the contact damage. His arm cannon fires too high to actually hit Metal Man, Centaur Flash deals no damage, and his trampling charge or whatever (which also didn't do damage before the rework) is ineffective because Metal Man just jumps right over him.

The way CutMan runs towards MetalMan at the start in Metal’s stage is comedy.
Fr, Cut Man’s >:( face makes it 1000x better
I'm gonna get ya!
Metalman winning against cutman?. So Willy’s upgrades DID Work.
Never noticed until now the similarities between Bomb Man and Metal Man:
>Both throw objects as means for attacking.
>Both jump around ad their only means of movement.
And also almost the same colours red and mustard yellow
that first match with Centaur was so cool the way he used Centaur Flash to make sure Metal Man got hit by the buster, and then ran to get out of the way of the Metal Blade at the last second
fascinating case study in how a reactive AI plus moving conveyors substantially affects matchups
Have you considered adding Dark Link from Zelda 2? A very aggressive boss to add that blocks a lot
A reminder to everyone out there that Inafune disliked Metal Man at one point due to him being 'too easy.'
Not wrong tho, most people go for him first
@@DripVunnyI always went Bubble Man or him first.
The video is ai vs ai basicly, while we are human know metal man attack pattern. That why it feel easy
@@DeWente69Nerds starts with metal man or flashman, chads starts with airman or quickman

Yamato having to run against the treadmill was unexpectedly hilarious to me.
Metal’s conveyor belt floor hurts him more than it helps him in nearly every fight.
Have you priced a new hideout lately?
Watching that slow pellet hurdling towards a frozen Metal Man was peak perfection 👌
Really surprised at how the Centaur and Plant match-ups went. Plant Barrier's actual deflection can't be slept on I guess
Plant Man had a real advantage in the Metal arena. Thought it might be a flawless victory for a sec…
Wow, Centaur Man actually can win matchups! Also, that Metal Man vs Ice Man matchup was edge-of-your-seat tight. It's crazy that Ice Man only emerged victorious a single time when looking at the two featured bouts.
With MetalMan, it's either an absolute oilbath or it'll come down to the wire
Robot Master named Plant Man:
seeing yamoto man strugle to catch his lance head in the conveirl belts is really funny, could watch a video og just him trying to pass a bunch of thouse to reach his lance lol
Bomb Man is deadly accurate with those bombs!
Ironic how his home stage more often than not is a detriment to himself
Bomb man clutching wins is always nice to see. Especially since he was the only one to win without shields or just.
Really fucking with Metals AI, nice one Centaur
Go get 'em, Moonwalk Man!
Man Metal Man really ran down the MM1 bosses
Also I see Centaur got her Contact Damage back nice!
Being able to jump around the whole arena has its perks
PlantMan always performs WAY better than I expect him to...

I like how Cut Man and Metal Man are hardly walking to each other at 6:20
So Metals is such a honorable ninja he actually handicaps himself. Every flight in his own stage was worse to him.
Except in Cut Man's case. That was just funny
I wonder if it's possible to prevent Yamato Man from recovering his spear tip.
Guess cutman didn't *sharpen* his skills from the last match...
カットマンとメタルマンのお見合いタイム好き
In another universe, a hot spring tomboy is watching this attentively. : )
Aww no Fire or Heat... but I still like you Metal Man, even if you did lose to Centaur.
It's specifically because he's programmed to react to movement, so teleporting doesn't set him off, and if Centaur gets his contact damage, well then...
@@FalloutJack yea, metal man has some unexpected weaknesses, but he still put up a solid performance overall, 6-3.
@@WhyDidntIInventYT Oh, without a doubt.
There were a few times where I thought there might be a flawless victory.

That draw match with Iceman was...
C O O L 🥶
ASF!
You just should remember, Metal Man has the most popular and (maybe even) unbalanced weapon in Mega Man series.
any plans for robot masters from more recent games, like Concrete Man from MM9?
@mm3shadowman982 yeah, of course! B^D but I need a lot of time 8)
I'm actually surprised how balanved most of the matches were
Seems like Metal Man’s stage is more of a detriment to Metal Man than an advantage.
Needleman vs MM2 bosses
Love it! He's basically Metal Man 2.0
I think Needle would annihilate pretty much every robot. Huge jumps, spamming needles and the needle head ram thing. He would be unstoppable!!!
It seem Metal Man’s room goes against it’s owner
Imagine if you could do mavericks
Metal vs Bomb is pretty funny, both of them are antisocial.
these fights are really awesome, seriously
Hey
This is a good round of combats
And I was thinking, how about a fight between ALL the Doc Robots VS their MM2 counterparts
Metal Man sliced through the competition 😅😅😅
MetalMan is something of a tragic figure. He has one of the best weapons in the series, but very limited ability to use it.
I always thought Metal Man would be good, I wasn't disappointed!
Same, but i was disappointed

Can't wait for the Mega Man x series
Did a HELL of a lot better than the disasters that were Flash and Tomahawk Man’s runs.
If he were really Super Guts Man, he'd call boulders with every jump and not just when he jumps straight up.
This makes me very curious, what if Metalman would actually run forward if he wasn't on a conveyor belt instead of running in place? I know he officially runs in place in the Wily stage 5 rematch, but I'm just curious about the idea of him running forward instead
@Yiey20 actually, that idea is.... watch the last second of this video 8)

Super super guts man concept: same thing as normal super guys man but now he jumps on the direction of the oponent instead of random directions

Ah yes, the only thing to counter metal...
Plants...
Did ice man got a new walking animation?
I'm the MVP!
@metalman9696 congratulations 8)
...the hell you mean, "draw"???? 🤣
Dont "METAL" WITH Metal Man.
Why MM6 robots Masters (except plant man) are they so weak?
They rely more on contact damage.
Metal Man is easy to be defeated.
Why did Centaur Man's teleport re-appearing cause damage? That seemed unfair.
