    I have a similar experience and I believe Grief is so misunderstood and different for every one. Grief is love with now where to go. For me, it has been a very difficult journey. I have had to get a lot of support, therapy, a class called Grief Share. Grief doesn't subside, it is a daily partner that I have become accustomed to and its ok. Keeping you in my prayers.

      I found the most cost-effective LED silicone mask, I see the same Omnilux/CurrentBody LED mask on Alibaba, it only costs $86 per
      I have used pcs. The price is very nice and the quality of the product is also very good. They are the factory wholesale price.

    It is far more in depth than anyone i have watched before ..Thankyou for your thoughts. My son bought me Blueberry facemasks from Amazon. Big box 4 different types. All fruit. These are the most amazing masks i have ever tried. I believe they are Chinese. If i want them to have an effect for the day later. I use last thing at night. Yes i fall asleep. Stay as well as you can, yes griefs an anomaly. My Grandparents on both sides. I can't possibly get over. Grampy died 2011. 3 days before his 90th. Tears now. Love you Karen. This is my very fist time coming across your video. I love you, so easy to watch and informative. It was so incredibly wonderful, many thanks ! As I came across you, I had also researched these two LED options and was hesitating, then once I saw that you had bought both of them, I thought, that's a sign I'll get them both, so thank you!
    I feel so deeply for what you are currently dealing with. I am so sorry, sending so much love, it is an incredibly difficult time. Just remember to be kind to yourself. I found that to be very helpful advice when my beautiful Mum passed around this time last year. We had her birthday yesterday and it's of course so so hard (understatement) without her, but I promise you it does get easier to cope with day by day, week by week, month by month. xxxxx

    I have an incandescent device. Beurer il 50. It's fantastic for neck/shoulders. It gets really hot, and it might work for those who feel heat is an effect all by itself. But there are so many types of pain, so I don't know which ones it would work especially well for. I would say probably training soreness and possibly overuse on muscles/tendons. But probably only for people who particularly enjoy heat. If I go very near or beyond the near limit (30 cm/16 inches), it feels almost like burning, and the tissue might stay hot for hours. It revs up metabolism, I think. And weight loss works with near infrared in general.

    From what i have researched (and i did research looooong and wide), they are both likely not going to work (not enough mW/cm2 and not enough leds). I did end up buying a professional one , a Celluma, a panel you can use wherever you want on your body , I spent almost 1000 euros ; and i barely noticed a difference in five months of regular use. But, good luck. :)

    Hi Karen. I am so sorry for your loss, and please know you have plenty of love and support here. In regards to the red light therapy device, I read an article that suggested applying green tea to the skin before treatment. Have you heard anything about that? From what I read, simply applying freshly brewed green tea - or a green tea toner to clean skin 20 minutes before treatment would amp up the beneficial gains from the red light device. Just wondered if you had caught wind of that. Anyway, take care of yourself. Your UA-cam family will be here when you decide to return. God bless.

    One thing that puzzled me. Red light works on skin. It helps scars and wounds. Around 6x0 nm. So what is it you think doesn't happen with those masks? The collagen and elastin? For pain, sure, you need 8x0 nm. But for skin, why would I want to look for a dual device?

    Dr Dennis Gross has a stick, powered by a regular exchangeable battery, called DRx SpotLite Acne Treatment. It's meant primarily for acne. But would it work for under eyes? That's something I've thought about as well, and I can't see that any of the masks are all that likely to cover that area. Tell me if I'm wrong.
    As for results on pain, two areas should have instant results: Hands and neck. If you don't notice something immediately, I would be a bit wary of the device or variables. I see some say in Amazon reviews that they've had no effect whatsoever. There are supposedly three types of responses. Normal, exaggerated (get skin issues from the lamps) and no effect. This is probablyt genetic.

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
      @TheBeautyMaverick  4 роки тому

      The small Dr Gross device is a mix of blue & red light - blue light for acne. It would be quite tedious to use under the eyes I'd think. x

    Enjoyed your video but before you return this device, please do more research regarding the eyes with R.L.T. , Not promoting Joov, but they have backed hundreds of studies. Most devices are not damaging to the eyes when used as directed. Many people actually have improved vision. I have 2 full body devices in my sauna. Of course you shouldn't look directly at the lights but I have never worn goggles. My skin has never looked better & improved joint pain. I actually use one on my dog with arthritis. It is almost as healthy as the sun. This is just a suggestion to read the actual studies by joov. 😉

    For your neck pain, see a physio and do relevent exercises (and probably some sport in general). For headaches and knee, it looks like your body is inflamed - improve your diet and gut health. Check out The Human Being Diet by Petronella Ravenshear to understand how and why. Best wishes.

      Thanks Jac - I’ve seen many physios and also tried many diets, I eat healthy for the most part. I have clinical conditions - Ehlers Danlos & migraines - mechanical and vascular issues don’t respond to diet but I’m on a treatment plan 👏

      @@TheBeautyMaverick sorry to hear of your struggles. Check out her book anyway. Having avoided fad diets my entire life, this was one that seemed based on up to the minute nutrional science around gut health (and impact on all your systems, and common sense. Along with some fundamental guidance systems that are to follow and have profound effects on many different levels.

    I called and emailed the Dr. Dennis Gross folks and they explained that their mask DOES have both red and near infrared light, so I bought it. I have used it almost daily for over a year. I am 65 years old and have never had any “work” done at all, including fillers, but yesterday someone said she thought I was 35! That was on Zoom, though, and I put on foundation for those weekly calls, but no fancy ring light. My daughter, who can be brutally honest, said her volleyball teammates thought I was 45, not 35, and she thinks that’s more accurate. Haha, I’ll take it! I do use Retin-a, the Ziip microcurrent device, and various other potions, plus I’m a 40-year vegan-leaning vegetarian, but I do think that my skin has definitely improved with the mask. I just watched Gothamista on UA-cam, however, and she recommended using a purportedly even better near infrared mask with a 20% coupon. She said the blue light in my mask can cause melasma or brown spots even though it helps with acne, which I rarely have anymore. So I shall ponder whether I should ask for that one for Christmas and pass the Dr. Dennis Gross mask on to my daughter.🤷🏻‍♀️

      You CAN use the Dr. Dennis Gross mask without the blue light, but there are fewer red light bulbs than on the one Gothamista recommended because of the blue light bulbs.
