Good morning everyone! Seeing a lot of repeat questions so thought I'd answer them here: 1. For how/when to apply these, see my skincare routine video: ua-cam.com/video/Jj602O3qv5g/v-deo.html 2. For what to keep in a mini fridge: ua-cam.com/video/kUkij-xp038/v-deo.html (starts at 10:45:00) 3. Do we have to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours: The every 2 hours rule is for continuous direct sun exposure. So definitely reapply every 2 hours if you're at the beach or outside without a hat or shade. You can try to assess how much total direct & indirect exposure you get per day and figure out how often to reapply. I think if you apply the proper amount (1/4 teaspoon for face & neck) then you should be good for the average day where you're staying mainly inside & not directly in front of a window with maybe 1 touchup later on if needed.
@@SusanSlattery She's right. I use retina a and wore sunscreen on morning walk, later gardening, I felt tingling on my cheeks, I forgot to reapply! Now I have hat, etc but it does make a difference

I finally found a 58 year old UA-camr with great skin that knows a lot about skincare. Older people should watch her channel. There are many skincare experts but most of them are young and they have beautiful skin. Angie is the first and only 58 year old UA-camr that I know that knows what she's talking about.
When you said "58" I immediately subscribed! I am 56 & gravity has really started taking it's toll! I have Lupus & have had years of skin damage because of it & of course, laying out in the sun ON TOP of a space blanket ON TOP of my parent's pool, while in high school was very damaging as well! (Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!) Anyway, I think I will be binge watching your videos on my day off today:). Thank you for sharing your secrets! Your skin is beautiful- You look closer to 35 than you do 58!
I'm 61, and have no sun damage or wrinkles, and I never wear sunscreen. lol I do have a small frown line. I've always wore a hat and sun glasses most of my life.
I'm 50, never wear sunscreen, I'm wrinkles free, no spots on skin, I just wear sunglasses like holy grail and don't expose myself to the sun purposely. On vacation I use only cold press oils with natural SPF and wear hat, usually I lay under the trees, reading books and go swim and for a walk other time than the middle of the day.
Angie i want to thank you. I have been using the top 5 of the six for the past 19 months. My skin looks 10 years younger. Friends and family even strangers are always complimenting me on my skin. I used to use high end products. So you have saved so much money its crazy. I am 71 years old. So it can help anyone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Susan
I've been following your basic morning and evening routine for several years now. I just went for a facial and the esthetician told me my skin was so hydrated and asked if I drink a lot of water. I don't but I told her I follow a great skin care routine! Thanks for all your research and dedication!

Daily sunscreen - was essentially my only skin care age 20 to almost 50. Absolutely the most important thing you can do - my face shows very little aging, compared to my hands (never through to sunscreen them until a few years ago.). I use almost all of the other products now but I thankful someone’s grandma told me to wear sunscreen every day when I was a college student.
I wish someone had told me that. I had a mother who tanned, and a dermatologist who didn't tell me to wear sunscreen, he just said I was doomed because I was so white.
Marilee K I started wearing sunscreen regularly starting age 21, but back then I only wore spf 15. Then over time I strayed wearing spf 30, and now for the past 5 years spf 45 daily. I am 35 now. I did grow up in Florida and did tan throughout my teen years. Thankfully, I’ve lived in the pacific NW for about 8 years now, so it’s not sunny year around. I hope my skin will hold up.
@@dermlover1 it sounds like you’re doing the right thing. I was probably at the lower spf at first, too. Anything is better than nothing esp if you start early. Florida sun is brutal, good luck!
Just got finished working a 12 hour shift 🥱 (essential worker) came home, showered, skincare routine and I finally get to sit down and relax watching my favorite UA-camr..... life is good! Thank you Angie! 🌻
@@susanbaker2796 aawwww, thank you soo much! I really appreciate everyone’s kind words. It’s far from an easy job but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
I’m a 35 year old mom of two under two with no sleep and you manage to make my skin look good! I’m so happy I discovered you a month ago! I will try everything you recommend!
I have oily skin and did not even use moisturizer or sunscreen until I started watching you a few year ago. I just turned 59 in August and have enough skincare now to stock a store. I know that is bad because they expire quickly but I like trying different things you recommend and have printed out your skincare routine and follow it. You have helped my skin so much, no one could guess my age!!
I’ve been using Timeless products since you started talking about your skin routine many years ago! I love all of their products. I also have seen great results with The Ordinary Lactic Acid and Their Glycolic acid toner 7%. I really see a huge difference in the morning using those 2 acids at night 3x a week. I’m also 58 years old! Thanks for keeping me at my best!
Do you use the glycolic acid and the lactic acid at the same time? I’m just wondering because I’d like to do that but I’m afraid I’ll irritate my skin (I don’t have sensitive skin though).
Hi, I use cosrx aha & the ordinary azelaic acid (I’m new to it still but LOVE it so far) How do you use the lactic acid? Am or pm? Does it dry skin at all?
I have the same question as many others seem to... USE glycolic acid AND lactic acid for best results ( if your skin can tolerate it ) ????? OR is it best to only use one of them at a time ?
I knew the curology was working when one morning my husband looked at my face confused and asked if I was wearing makeup. No makeup, just even skin. I almost cried I was so stoked lol
@@Jezebel066 Please don’t think you have to use Curology - she is paid to advertise for them. You can get Tretinoin from any MD. I see my internist once a month already and once he knew I did my homework as far as the strength I wanted to start with and my routine for maintaining and increasing the tret, he wrote the script and has continued to write it for me for now almost 4 years. It’s @ $12 a tube until I hit my deductible and then it’s $0. Also - I started at .01% and used it once a week the first month, twice the second month, etc. and had no purging or issues. Granted, I do wait years before I increase because it can be very strong but I’ve used every acid out there and there is NOTHING like it!!!!
Don't keep your hopes too high, till you are 50 they might discover that sunscreens are extremely harmful. Then, there will be another magic-in-the-bottle and you will say, if only I had it in my twenties 😂😂😂
I just reunited with some college friends I haven’ seen in 30 years, and I was struck by how aged their skin was compared to mine. Maybe there was a silver lining to all that adult acne I suffered through in my 30s, but I was pretty good with sunscreen throughout the years and drinking lots of water. 💦 So keep up with the mineral sunscreen. There are so many great ones out there now. I’m curious about the Make Prem she mentioned.
Congratulations on 8 years! I'm 59 and over the past 5 or so years I've learned a lot about skin care and makeup from you. I've purchased some great products you've recommended. Thank you. Love the fashion videos too.
I liked this video while the ads were playing at the beginning. You are my favorite You Tuber, Angie. You have made such a difference in my life, from skincare to fashion and shoes and sweaters and jeans, which I never thought I'd wear again. I use Timeless C and Co Q 10 and Ordinary 10% Lactic, with no irritation. My Curology formula was just pushed to 5% Tranexamic Acid, 4% Niacinamide and .14% Tretinoin. The Tranexamic Acid has made the biggest difference. My constant irritation is almost zero now. Everything I'm doing now is because of you, girl. I'm 56. Love you.
I’ve been watching you for a long time, since you used to wear just one earring! I’d say the biggest improvement are you eyelids. They are so much more lifted. Amazing!
Angie:. I've followed you for years, and I definitely realized it when you opened your medicine cabinet. I saw so much that I use because you recommended it. 😁 Congrats on 8 years!
Hi Angie I use vitamin c in the morning and tret 0.1 in the evening I use good genes glycolic acid sometimes instead of tret but if I wanted to use daily where do I add to my routine? Thanks
I am very happy with Curology. I used your link to order Curology over a year ago. I started very mild and am now at 0.05% Tretinoin, plus 4% Niacinamide and 5% Azelaic Acid. I think I will stay at that. I also use Lactic Acid, but no other acids or vitamin C. I went up to 0.05% Tretinoin I did get dry and flaky around the nose and mouth. I decreased to every other day for a while, and I increased emollient moisturizer. The Curology dermatologist/physician's assistant is very responsive and answers all of my questions. FYI, Curology is not available in every state.
I love this video! My experience with Curology was not good. I had also been on tretinoid for quite some time. I let them no that. But they still put me on the least amount. A few months later I requested a stronger amount but was refused. So I quit my order.
I believe after reading tons of responses from several people, I am the only one that Curology did not worked at all. Followed all instructions and everyone raves about azelaic acid. I had the worst breakouts ever. Emailed them. They mentioned I was " purging" and never got an update on my formula so decided to quit. I use other retinols and that is my experience. Nothing negative. I think there are products that work for some, depending on a bunch of characteristics or weather, etc. And some do not, period.
I don't think you are alone, many companies are regulating in one way or another reviews about their product or service. I visited their site and was dissapointed by absence of information. Felt like being in turkish market where prices are never displayed. You have to buy product to know how much it actually is. Why should I leave my personal info with company if I am not sure if I will continue with them.
I had the same experience with Curology. They continued to say I was "purging" after 2 months, would not change my formula and found whomever they assigned to me was not responsive to what I was telling/showing them so I discontinued. Works for some people and not for others. Nice to know I was not the only person with this experience.
The approach I use to pare down Angie's routine is this: Single cleanse (I only need one), no extra neck/chest products (I don't need it), no extra sunscreen (all of my foundations/tinted moisturizers are SPF 30+ and I'm seldom in the sun for more than :30 min/day). That leaves about a 3-4 step process in the morning and evening which is pretty easy and has made a TON of difference.
You look stunning without makeup!!! I thought when I started this video wow, her skin looks great. I wonder what makeup she’s wearing? Keep up the good work! I am going to be taking notes over here for things to add into my routine.
IV just hit 37 and I'm shocked on how my skin is ageing!!! Thank you so much for your videos!! You have helped me heaps on knowing what to do and what products to use.
WOW ! FINALLY SOMEONE THAT LOOKS GREAT AND KEEPS IT REAL & KNOWS WHAT SHES DOING!!!! Love that you also keep it important to pay attention to the ingredients rather than the brand name.

@@gennyolson2257 Call me crazy, but I preferred the lovely Angie before--with hooded eyes and blonder hair. Overall, despite more wrinkles, I think she looked better. Ok, I'm prepared for the execution squad!
@@loveisnotaghost has she had Botox? Just started watched but her face doesn’t move. Not being rude. But I watched another lady over 50 and she had Botox which to me is unfair to suggest skin is amazing when you’ve had Botox.
I'm so happy to hear you stress the importance of sunscreen. I had a dermatologist tell me when I was in my 20's never to skip it and not to even go to the mailbox without it. I have followed that advice for years and it has paid off. It's upsetting when I see other videos on youtube that don't even mention it in their makeup and skincare routines. Thank you!
Anything that's efficacy is effected by heat or sun exposure. So things like vitamin c serum. It's also nice to put sheet masks, eye gels, and any serums or creams that feel nice on the skin when cooled.
When she said Im 58, I hit subscribed as fast as I could!! Such an elegant and well preserved lady - and pleasant to listen to. Nice voice as well. ❤️👏👏
I would really enjoy a video in which you just go through your medicine cabinets and describe all your products and the purpose of each one. Perhaps you’ve done such a video already?
I started using the products you use back in March. When I had a facial the other day the lady said my skin was really health looking. I am 74 and that was the first facial I had in years.
I love how you support timeless.. It’s worked for you for so long that you haven’t given up on it and moved along to another product. I really like that brand as well.
this video was perfect for me. I'm always in a rush I appreciate that you have narrowed it down to your top five. I am 57 and I do work at my skin it's just I have limited time
I discovered your channel just a few months ago when I found your video on how to look good on Zoom. I am 57 years of age. I've enjoyed your videos and I've learned so much about skin care. I love NuFace as much as you! I've now purchased several of the products you've featured and I love them! After three weeks of using the products that I selected, my skin is improving. What a great service you are providing. I wish I had started watching your videos long ago but I'm implementing good changes now. It is also wonderful to have something to watch that isn't negative, gloom or doom. Thank you for all of the information and the fun conversation in such difficult times.
I use two of the products from Timeless you recommend, the Vit. C plus E, and the Matryl Synthe 6 serums. The Timeless website states it is best to use the Vit. C at night, and it is best not to use the Matrixyl with acids or a retinoid. I have been using the Vit. C in the morning like you advise, and the Matrixyl in the evening after using my Retin A. Would you please clarify the best way to use these two serums. I want to get the most efficiency from their use.
The only peptides you don’t want to combine with Ascorbic acid are copper binding peptides like Matrixyl 3000 and Copper Tripeptide 1. Free copper and other metals can cause oxidative damage and ascorbic acid can basically act as a chelating agent and end up oxidized in the process. Other peptides should be fine, the only potential issue is they work at a different PH level so it’s better to apply your ascorbic acid and let it sink in and then add some other hydrators before using the peptides. Retinoids and peptides are perfectly fine.
I have been using .025 prescription Retin-A with the intention of maybe getting to .1%. I decided to sign up for Curology because you said it was good. I ordered it with niacinamide and azelaic acid at .001%. I used it for three weeks with a day or two off and it burned my face more than the higher dose of prescription Retin-A ever did. It got so bad that my whole face burned and putting serums and moisturizers on (that used to feel good on my face) hurt and stung. Three days ago, I decided to quit using Curology and I already feel like my face is better. I'm writing this because I know they sponsor you, but Curology isn't good for everyone. You never said it was, but please continue to encourage options like plain old tretinoin and retinols.
I have been watching some of your very early videos lately and I just feel so proud of how much more confident and polished you have become whilst remaining humble and genuine and real 🙏🏻 thank you Angie for your dedication and persistence in maintaining your chanel 🥰🥰
Hi Angie. Congratulations on 8 years. I started watching almost 2 years ago and you helped change my skin. I’m 54 and at 50 I knew I needed to change up my skincare routine and I found you first in UA-cam. The thing I love most about your channel is the research you do on skincare. Thank you for helping me with my skincare journey! ❤️
Congratulations on 8 years on UA-cam! I've been watching you almost since the beginning, and I'm so happy for you! I use a simplified version of your skin care routine and it has made such a huge difference in my skin. Can't thank you enough. Editing to add: I looove Curology!!
Congratulations on 8 years! You were one of the first skincare you tubers I came across. I am waiting for my free trial curology to come in today! I’m so excited.
I’ve just started binge watching a lot of your videos for about a week. I’m 38 and let me just say I can only hope for amazing skin like yours when I am your age!! My mom never has taken steps in preserving her skin and therefore never passed any information on to me. Within the last 7 days or so, you have taught me soo much!!! I have purchased as much of your skin care routine as I can find. Thank you for making me aware of what is out there, and what works! I love the research you put into your products that you recommend! ❤️ Jessica
Angie, I recently subscribed to a curology prescription and I'm amazed at how fast my skin got used to it. I had been using a prescription for tretinoin from my dermatologist and my skin never adjusted to it even after a year of use. I was able to get my skin adjusted to my curology in one month and no longer have to wait 20 minutes after washing my face before applying my curology. I am so happy with it and thank you for sharing it with your followers. I'm converted and will be using it for a long time. Keep sharing your great skin care videos. I enjoy all of them!
I do respect your opinions because it appears you do a good amount of research on any given product...I know I'm late here, but a question..but why is every speck of sun 'bad' for our skin? Isn't a certain amount good for the skin? I'm not talking about 'baking' for hours in the sun, but what's wrong with maybe 5 minutes of sun on your face every day? I'm 67 yrs old and I do wear sunblock, retinol and exfoliate every day.
I have tried some of these products and just had the most lovely compliment recently that I looked so beautiful. I use the Timeless Vit C and CeraVe right now. I also did some research to see which products were clean and was pretty glad to see most were. Thanks for the information. Awesome.
Hi Angie, I noticed your magnifying mirror suctioned to your bathroom mirror. I moved my magnifying mirror to my bathroom window and was delighted how the extra light gave an even higher level of visibility to my skin. Great help for aging eyes!
Thank you for all of this great information. I’m 49 and I use about 75% of the same products that you use and I have seen a huge improvement in my skin. Hopefully my skin will look almost as good as yours when I’m 58.
Going back to Timeless after using a few others and being less than impressed. I hope it stays fresh in the new packaging. I'm 57, and was also a sun worshipper-do you remember that we had spf 4!!
Ha! I do! I remember an SPF of 2. And my favorite to bake myself in Hawaiian Tropic Tanning Oil with NO SPF! 😳🙄😫 Now have a big skincare routine (mostly products Angie has recommended) and I wear SPF of no less than 50 everyday! 😊
I can top that...I used to climb up on a black roof top with silver steeple my choice of lube was a small tub of Crisco (solid shortening). Standing in a certain position, the vertical roof reflection could reach every nook and cranny in 15 minutes...stick a fork in me, I am done. My method was truly the ULTRA HIGH SPEED tanning bed before it was created. CRISCO as I know it, has no SPF. Ba ha ha. Your 4 percent SPF on the ground, was for sure safer! 😎 While I stopped all tanning by 30, the value in following sage AGELESS Angie is undeniably the best decision I have made, other than coming down from my roof top.
I found the Australian Gold 50 spf last summer since it's tinted and waterq resistant. I have really red skin and hate not wearing foundation at the pool. I never considered using it under makeup too. I really love the product.
I'm finally ordering the elta MD sunscreen. I've been using the Australian Gold for years but my skin is drier lately and I feel that this might work better under my makeup. BTW its on sale right now on Amazon.
I have seen an aesthetician every 4 weeks for over 15 years. She cleans my face, does a micro-dermabrasion treatment, takes a good look at my skin and removes milia & blemishes, applies a salicylic acid peel and then applies a moisturizer with sunscreen. This week she commented on how my skin looked better than ever. She noticed how my discolorations were fading. It is thanks to the anti-aging skincare routine I now use. Thank you Angie!
Angie I LOVE your little Refrigerator!!!! I just put it in my Walmart card LOLCan you do a video on things for skin care that you keep refrigerated ??? thank you so much for all your help and suggestions!!🥰 You look marvelous is always!

Wow, you look amazing, so youthful without makeup! I realize I use 80% of the products mentioned because of you :) Thank you for the valuable content, Angie!
Angie I’ve followed you for years and can’t believe how you’ve morphed into a younger you over those years! 😍 Id LOVE for you to show a ‘before and after’ video going back all those years and to tell us what you believe to be the biggest factor in the huge transformation of your skin during this time xxx
By keeping product in the fridge, it keeps it fresher longer. Vitamin C has a short "shelf" life and becomes ineffective rather quickly, by refrigerating product, it should make the effectiveness of the product last longer
Me too! She has most definitely done her homework/research and explains things in simple terms so we can understand the what and why of a product. I love that! Thanks so much Angie!
Well Angie another good one. I can’t believe It’s been 8 years! As soon as this video started, I knew you were bare faced and instantly thought, “wow, she doesn’t need makeup!” I can truely see the improvement in your skin and complexion. But, the most important part for me is that you have stayed true to focusing on products that are aligned with real scientific support and not on ones with impressive CLAIMS made by marketing departments. Good job!
Loved this 5 Holy grail video! I'm 46 and have noticed a definite improvement when I focus on skincare but all of the choices are overwhelming! Perfect video...
Hello Angie, Other than the curology, are you aware of any of the products in your skin care regime that would aggravate eczema? I am a newer subscriber but and I'm learning a lot at about skin care.
I love my Curology! I have sold three friends on it, all with different skin types. The customer service is great! You can ask for a change in your prescription, have it delivered more or less often, and ask questions at any time. I get the larger size (put it on my decolletage and hands, too) and don't find it to be expensive, even when compared with retinol cream I use on my neck. Have been using Curology for four months and already see a difference. I'm 68 and this week my dental hygenist asked me what I was doing to get my skin so smooth. Just sayin.
Yes, I have said the same thing many many times. If only I could talk to my younger self....🙄🤦♀️. Now I have three grown daughters and that’s what I have been preaching to them for their whole lives...sunscreen sunscreen sunscreen....no matter what other products you use, Use sunscreen! It’s the first defence in fighting that dreaded aging process....😳
I have a question to the european watchers here: do you know of a similiar service to Curology in Europe, specifically Germany? I find it so hard to find a dermatologist here who is experienced in these things... Thanks- and of course thank you, Angie, for your great and thorough research, as always🌷💕

I have ordered the timeless vitamin c And also started with curology. 😁 I have Australian gold 50 spf, and will go out and get the ceraVe cleanser and moisturizer. Thank you for sharing all you know. I’m shocked at your transformation!
I love you said, “ it takes a village “ to anti age your skin. People are not willing to put in the work to care for their skin. Please remind everyone a good sunscreen is so important but if you go outside please wear a wide brimmed hat. To many people think the sunscreen is enough. 🙌🏻🍑Lisa
On my sons account here, so nice to see you are keeping your hair long. I think short hair instantly ages. It’s like a signal we have given up and are now old!

Good morning everyone! Seeing a lot of repeat questions so thought I'd answer them here:
1. For how/when to apply these, see my skincare routine video: ua-cam.com/video/Jj602O3qv5g/v-deo.html
2. For what to keep in a mini fridge: ua-cam.com/video/kUkij-xp038/v-deo.html (starts at 10:45:00)

Do you have any sagging skin on your face?
@@dermlover1 not really, very minimal lines around my eyes especially.

Thanks so much Tamara!
I have the lactic acid but want to order the glycolic acid. Do you use both on the same night 3x a week?
Do you use the glycolic acid and the lactic acid at the same time? I’m just wondering because I’d like to do that but I’m afraid I’ll irritate my skin (I don’t have sensitive skin though).
She said in one of the videos that glycolic acid was too much for her skin and that’s why she uses lactic acid.
And that’s an awesome husband! What a lovely guy.
I haven’t tried curology yet.. but I know the ordinary azelaic acid did wonders for my skin
@@Jezebel066 I was thinking about buying azaelic acid locally in australia. Is there a percentage you found was good start with?
@@Jezebel066 Please don’t think you have to use Curology - she is paid to advertise for them. You can get Tretinoin from any MD. Don't keep your hopes too high, till you are 50 they might discover that sunscreens are extremely harmful. Then, there will be another magic-in-the-bottle and you will say, if only I had it in my twenties 😂😂😂
Dang this is real!
Amazing!

Hi Angie I use vitamin c in the morning and tret 0.1 in the evening I use good genes glycolic acid sometimes instead of tret but if I wanted to use daily where do I add to my routine?

Hi Angie, I just realized you keep some of your skincare in a mini fridge. What are the benefits and which products should be refrigerated?
Anything that's efficacy is effected by heat or sun exposure. So things like vitamin c serum. It's also nice to put sheet masks, eye gels, and any serums or creams that feel nice on the skin when cooled.

Yes!!!
Same! I got the same 2 products bc of Angie too! Lol
Oh, I forgot I actually went with the MaeLove vit C serum, the timeless synth 6. But anyway, same ingredients
@@skinsciencebymira Are you sure? Angie uses coQ10 after she uses her vitamin c serum every morning. The coQ10 has matrixyl 3000 in it.

Angie, I have been using those products & a few of your others for almost a year & I really can tell a difference in my skin!
I’m so glad I found you accidentally on UA-cam. I’m 4 years older than you & I have a lot of sun damage, but fortunately due to my oily skin I didn’t have to many wrinkles. You’re right it’s never to late to start with your Holy Grail products. Thank you for all the time spent on researching products, you saved me a lot of heartache!
Girl I want you to take every bottle out of that medicine cabinet and tell me what it is and why you have it because I can’t get enough of you and everything you do!! I have many of them but I think I need more!! 😂😬
I am new to this skin care journey. I am 52 and a newbie. I have ordered a bunch of products from The Ordinary, but not lactic acid. That was before I found you. I don’t have a problem with glycolic acid so I will continue with that. I have ordered the timeless vitamin c
And also started with curology. 😁
I have Australian gold 50 spf, and will go out and get the ceraVe cleanser and moisturizer.

On my sons account here, so nice to see you are keeping your hair long. I think short hair instantly ages. It’s like a signal we have given up and are now old!
Thanks so much! I'm enjoying it too!!
if your in the us your so lucky you can get a cheap reliableskincare cream
Angie, I joined Curology about 2 months ago. Just this week, 2 different people told me my skin looked amazing and smooth, and this 40yo was makeup-free at the time...I credit Curology and your recommendation as my routine was well-worked prior to that (including tons of others you recommended)!
Oh wow! That's so awesome!!
@@AngieHotandFlashy As are YOU! THANKS AND ALL THE BEST
