- Riding a motorcycle is an addiction that is hard to stop. Unfortunately, for those of us that live in the North country, the cold, stormy weather often forces you into motorcycle withdrawal.
Luckily there are other ways to get the adrenaline going. I have enjoyed the thrill of piloting my own Lake Amphibian airplane back in my younger years and still long for the unique feeling that flying above the ground and landing on the water gives you. My son is a pilot also and he decided to gift me a flight simulator for my recent birthday. What a thoughtful present and I can't thank him enough for getting me mentally back in the air again. The experience is very close to stimulating your senses that match the reality of actually flying.
I encourage anyone that enjoys the thrill of motorcycle riding and craves adventure, to give the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 a try. It's a great way to stay warm and having a thrilling adventure traveling to any place in world you can imagine, while waiting and planning for those great riding days coming soon.

Just as with motorcycling, if you had not exposed me to the experience of flying as a child and the sense of freedom it can provide I likely would not know the joys and challenges of either pursuit.
