Get the prison cells, then you can execute the captured heroes for getting +5 evil alignment and their items and putting their body in the crypt. Totally win-win for you.
You need the t3 Town Hall building to access the Dark Citadel that makes you so you're able to ignore stability. You're really going to want to focus mana and casting points on a Dark/Astral build. You'll be using a lot. You've already found 2 Gold wonders so 4 isn't that crazy, really.
Dark scout also get natural camouflage in forest, swamps (and I think mountains) check icons above health. Magic origin can be elemental spirits t1 evolve t3 units. Good luck, thanks for posting a play through.
Remember, 2 (T1) Skellies@10 Souls, merge to make a (T?) Bone Golem@30 Souls. Such that the cost to make 1 (T?) Golems from 2 (T1) skellies is 10 souls cheaper. Such that if a T2 Bone Golems is produced? then a Lich Queen could abuse such a deal. lol ;)
You should look into animating enemy heroes instead of recruiting your own, gives it a more lich-queen feel if all her subcommanders are reanimated enemies :D Also, one thing that is mentioned in the soul menu (but not very clearly) is that you can use souls to build a city on city-ruins, so you pay souls instead of the imperium. I think it used to be 50 or 75, but I have no idea if it changed with the rebalancing of the soul economy. Not sure if it's at all worth it, but it feels pretty cool :D
Nope, T1 spider hatchlings actually evolve into T3 matriarchs. Quite a nice unit especially if you run Nature for animal buffs. If you hover over unit medal (slightly above exp bar) it will show you rank rewards where you can hover over name of evolving unit. Web got massively nerfed and rightfully so, coz it was simply the best generic skill in game. Now its more of a debuff / harass as it should be. Also few patches ago empire skills had been nerfed so theyre not essential uber buffs so no need to pickle your empire forever and i think buying out first 2 pops is super efficient move as you increase yields and boost several buildings. I dont like that cold magic got more yields for arctic / snow provinces as it makes it harder to build fun combos on non arctic spawns. IMHO bonus nowledge from captured heroes is kinda meh as with 2 buildings you got 4 per turn. And even with one city you get over 80... Thats less than 5% increase for every alive hero. 4 mana on the other hand is quite nice early as skelly boiz are 6/turn without buffs. Always love the contet, keep em comin. PS dont sleep on roads, it can massively improve empire movement and any unit can build them.
Yes, I made a video when it released. I enjoyed it but haven't played much more. I felt the pace dragged a bit as you played on, though that may have just been me not being familiar with the game. It has some cool ideas.
This series is with the Dragon Dawn DLC installed yes. You can see my series with a Dragon leader here: ua-cam.com/play/PLOwxs4qK99SMc6f9dOQIOWo_eZ0jslqFL.html New DLC will release on November 7 which will also be covered.
Doesn't the game have a campaign? Can you cast more than one spell per turn, i really hated that limitation in AoW3? Whats the point of having many heroes if you can use them to cast multiple spells per turn during combat?
There are various story realms, but not a traditional campaign where you play the same character throughout. Heroes don't have spells in this. All spells come from your leader. They are one per trun in combat, unless your leader is a Wizard who can "Overchannel" once per fight to cast twice that turn.

Indrid: "Watchtowers are super nice, and they're not guarded"
Also Indrid: *completely ignores picking up the watchtowers*
Yes! Honestly kind of more hype than DoW2 for me.
Sweet! I was just thinking of starting a new run myself. I haven't played since before the dlc.

Just a small side note: you can always give a whispering stone to one of your cities for some stability.
Yup, it's nice to still have a use for them if you aren't interested in vassals.

You also have to spend souls to cast the spell, so it's not cheaper in the end. It's a good way to quickly repurpose damaged skeletons though.

Yep T1 spiders evolve into T3 spiders and T2 spiders evolve into T4 spiders.
Sup Indrid! Have you tried Spellforce: Conquest of Eo? Think you will like it

Thanx,
If you would buy it now you buy this in premium or base with dragon dawn + leader?
Tnx.
I would buy Premium since I have faith in Triumph making good DLC. You can always try the base game and add Expansion Pass later.
thx for this new let's play 😌👍
Can you eventually turn yourself undead like AoW 3 ?
Loved the undead faction in that game, was super powerful.
theres a tier 3 tome that turns your race undead
Dunno if you've ever played Guild Wars, but the god of death from that game is called Grenth
Yup, played the heck out of GW for years.
Finally!!!
How to download this mod without steam?
I don't use any mods.
How do you get a dragon to appear in the start screen?
