I’m still learning and experimenting so my content isn’t very consistent. Based on video analytics I probably need to clickbait harder on thumbnails because low click rate hurts my views, lol.
But I can’t get good at everything all at the same time so I’m focusing on video quality before getting better at making thumbnails.

you don't get xp for killing the pirates ever, enemies like those who were added after the game's launch dont give xp and only the quest gives xp (which is 25 for each step, so little that it barely matters). you should still get xp when using the strat with the bulbs

I'm pretty sure (could be wrong) the undead pirate crew fight at the end of your video doesn't give XP anyway; that whole quest is a late addition to the game, the Relics of Rivellon. Those quests in general don't give much XP at all so as not to throw off the progression of the game through the acts.

Yes the ability to make the enemy a bit moist the underrated factor of making then itchy from soggy clothes has to add like 20 psychological damage

I love Odinblade's custom class mods, but unfortunately they're way too overtuned. That combined with your gained knowledge from previous playthroughs, which I assume you have if you're these using mods, makes it a pretty boring experience. I find myself constantly having to add self-imposed restrictions so I don't get to curb stomp each encounter with easy, which feels a bit iffy.
Yeah I think they’re fun if you don’t try to max out effectiveness, but instead use them to craft a specific play style. I think a melee range Fire and Water caster would be satisfying, trident slide in, pull everything to you, supernova them. Still sounds op, but you get the added bonus of a satisfying combo to keep you engaged.

Wonderful video, the hydro and air builds make me nostalgic because my first character was a elementalist with focus on those two (tho I had the weaker vanilla skills, have not yet played with the mod), it really makes me want to return to DOS2, a shame that I bought way to much in the summer sale and first need to complete my other games.
I just finished act 3 for the first time after 450+ hours! It was so short, we knocked it out in a day. There’s some pretty crazy high level spells…

You did get experience (check the Crocs), it's just that Sech Zapor's minions (and him) don't actually give any experience. Never understood why, considering they are pretty strong. I guess it's just to avoid the player being able to leave Fort Joy at level 10. (At least the highest I could ever achieve was VERY close to 10 by murdering absolutely everyone. Not sure if a 10 is possible, but I could be wrong.)

If you think these mods are good, you’ll have a blast with the Necromancer overhaul. New summons, changes to how the skills work, plenty to play around with.
Necromancer will have to wait, I'm obsessed with the bulbs. Next video I barely show pyro & geo spells and then just move a multicolored bulb tower of death around for the rest of the video, lmao

You might be able to talk your way out of that one? Some other comments told me that you never get exp for killing them so talking your way out of it wouldn't really have a downside (less loot I guess, but thats not usually an issue)
