He's definitely shooting more and shooting a better percentage. I'm an OKC fan and I watch almost every game. Melo is a cancer to the teams some days. Its 50/50. If he bricks and shoots like 20-30% one night hes basically useless to the team. Lazy player who gets caught ball watching and hes not very good on defense.
Aight I'm neither a fan of westbrook nor the OKC Thunder, but Colin only does these segments when they're losing.

OKC has no bench. They rely on their big 3 heavily. Adams cant really score 1 on 1. Roberson sucks as a starter. Westbrook isnt the problem

Its the style of play. Watch the Warriors or Spurs. As soon as the guy bringing the ball up crosses the half court line they pass the ball and make a cut. This sets off an entire chain of cuts, off ball screens, etc. The ball keeps moving. And the guy who ultimately takes the shot takes very few dribbles.
Meanwhile Westbrook brings the ball up. He either stands on the wing pounding the ball. Or he passes it and goes to the corner to stand still. George most often comes off one screen and shoots a contested shot. Anthony may do the same or he gets the ball on the low block where he dribbles and shots a contested turn around. There is no rhythm to their offense. Their is little off ball movement.
So Westbrook looks good because in an offense with no movement he's the guy with the ball. So he gets to shoot from his spots. He gets to go to the rim when he wants. And he doesn't have to depend on anyone else to deliver him the ball. But he's still a BIG part of the problem.
D Rose was a winner , he didn't have a good team and don't put up insane numbers but he still led his team to the number 1 seed

The reason why people think OKC needs Westbrook to be himself is because that's all he can do. He can't play offball, just stands on the perimeter, doesn't cut, doesn't set screens, isn't a threat on the 3 point line so he doesn't space the floor. Westbrook is only effective with the ball in his hands. That's literally all he can do.
Did we forget that Anthony was 5 of 19 shooting. A lot games okc loses is because Anthony has taken too many low percentage shots, and he isn't getting any better

I don’t know why but to me it feels like PG13 is the 3rd option on the thunder. Thunder needs to make PG more of a vocal point of the offense. Honestly i feel like this team would’ve been better off without Melo. Not trying make it seem like it’s Melo’s fault but these three players just don’t fit together.

What I’m saying is if, Kobe or micheal or Tim Duncan or anyone could hand pick their team like a lebrons done, then imagine how many they would have. Time for a little transparency. Westbrook's high volume of attempts is inconsequential. Out of those 9 wins that Collin mentioned, 6 or 7 of them were blowouts.
What's important to monitor is the balance between PG and Melo.

There is no doubt that it's easier to build around Lebron to form a great team, but getting a Championship is difficult and the stats proves that having a Self - Centered super star can still Win as long as you put in the right pieces. Lebron makes any team looks good and that sometimes making the management lazy and thinking that they had enough to win it all when they actually need more.
