This is unreal. Russ and kd sharing the ball. Harden ripping pockets like kawhi.
Eric Xord dok Lee Facts 6th man Harden is a great defender
jarden is great defender when he wants to play d
Until artest elbowed him
Sad to see him was a player who always tried to be aggressive to deflect or even steal the ball, now he became the mvp but he defends with flop on the floor every possessions.

Looking back, Ron Artest really thought he was Dennis Rodman lol
Boom same, i always thought he was Dennis Rodman as well
Metta was a better scorer but definitely not a great defender or rebounder like Rodman.
Ave Mcree not a great defender? He wasn’t as good as Rodman but he still was definitely a great defender

They were tearing it up off pure talent. They were 22-23 when they got to the finals. Ain’t nobody doing that today

Get me more subs Than Morgz Get me more subs Than Morgz yeh it was same era. U don’t see kids do that now is what I’m saying. Also lebron was on the east it was kinda easy. Okc made it from the west including knocking out the spurs. The spurs beat Lebrons first trip to the finals so in theory okc achieved more.
Does okc know they drafted 3 mvps😂😂
jeff green as a role player/xfactor but eventually traded for perkins
Technically they bought KD, since he was drafted as a Supersonic.
JAY 275 No 😆

Dude, the supersonic is the thunder, they moved city
Look at Rookie Harden's defense.
Maybe he just needs to trim the beard and get with the headband again
Hes always had great defense he just eased off it for a while when he joined Houston cause they needed him way more offensively so he sabed his energy to focus on offense.
you seen his defense in the WCF it was superb check out the block he had on draymond green in game 7 an all the robberies of Durant
Iso Joe That’s no excuse.
He stopped playing defense after metta world peace elbowed him
When westbrook was a true PG, harden played defense, and KD...well he was still a beast
Do you mean it messed up this time?
He wasn't a snake

Bro as a thunder fan I miss these days so much & not just these Thunder teams but the NBA as a whole. So unpredictable & fun, we really take stuff for granted I miss these days...
Bro fr... the NBA needs competition again... it’s drying out... maybe time for an expansion with some new teams, hopefully SuperSonics return.
@@SageTD20 I think they should eliminate like 8 teams make every team a super team that remains kick out the bums
@@robinyourhood76 Orlando magic doesn't deserve to play on the same leGue as gsw.... they should mKe it like 60s with only 10 super teams
@@sambo416 ur stupid. If there were like 15 teams in the nba it would be boring and only would last half a year, also it would financially hurt the nba
hey no need for name calling, calling mans stupid for having a different perspective. That makes you stupid for not having an open mind. perhaps by lowering the amount of teams, you lower the quantity of teams but increase the quality you can still remain with the same profits. plus now there is less players to pay so more money to go around.
idgaf about the finance of the nba...its all about money i know. But in terms of fun and competition i thiink this would be more competitive.
Some of these trash players dont desereve to be in the same league and dont deserve these million dollar contracts. like chanler parsons has like an 80 million dollar contract...and was making more than steph curry and draymond...wtf.
bro nobody watches brooklyn nets or orlando or the clippers. Sometimes you can have addition by subtraction, the nba would be better off if every team was super elite and they eliminated the trash teams, right now the nba is diluted....they had 82 games back in the 60s when there was only 8 teams, so the season would still be the same length. We would just get wayy more matchups between golden state ,lakers, okc, boston, spurs etc...instead of only 2 -4 matchups.
perhaps they can charge more for games and seats if every team was elite. its all about how your market it.
the only real problem is cities wouldnt want to lose their home teams that is devastating, but in terms of competition the league would be more competitive. PLayers today are just gonna create super teams anyways, so the nba has to find a way to make it balanced.
maybe they can have a B league so cities wouldnt have to lose their franchises...like soccer, where the champion of the B league makes it into the NBA,,and the last place team gets kicked out of the NBA. That way teams cant tank or they risk losing everything.
the number 1 problem with the nba is 1 super teams, 2 tanking.....this format has the potential to save the nba in the long run IMO.
leagues that dont change and become regressive and lose dominance in the market like the mlb or nfl. MLB and nfl used to be the most popular american sports until NBA beat them globally. Why because the NBA is progressive and makes adjustments every year to keep up with the times.
Living in Oklahoma City during that time was absolutely THE BEST! the whole entire state came together, and everyone was expected us to win the championship eventually 😭😭😭 God I miss those days

They gave up too soon on Harden. Should have been a dynasty by now if they had a better coach.
Damn they had a crazy talented young roster! KD, Russ, Harden, Green, Ibaka, Maynor, Sefolosha and Collison as the vet leader. Had the front office been able to figure out keeping them together like GS has, there could arguably be no GS to speak of!

@Error Report no people hate him cuz he went to gsw lmfao what are you even talking about
OKC should've kept Harden they were the next dynasty after Miami, but Harden may have never unlocked his full potential if he hadn't been traded
Harden was good in OKC he just gets alot more touches in Houston. And from this video he put alot more effort in on defense
Maybe if they started him over sefalosha like they should've...
If they were all on their prime they maybe win a championship
all he did was get more possession of the ball and had to share he would still be a 20+ pt player today

I remember watching this game as a lakers fan back in 2010 live. I was scared shitless thinking OKC would knock us out of the playoffs this year after this game. They no longer seemed like just a team for the future, they were a team for the NOW. Will always be one of the league's greatest "what if" stories for if this team stayed together. There's the obvious big 3 of KD, russ, and harden, but ibaka, jeff green, sefolosha, etc who were really good in their roles. Ppl forget Jeff Green was the Celtics number one option after their big 3 left. Wow the nostalgia is huge on the video

thank sam presti for the moves...
@A Cat Best? do you know what that word means? sam presti is in no way fucking better than warriors GM... kept curry, klay, and green, their picks, and added kd... now thats the best GM...
imagine OKC kept kd, russ, harden, ibaka, their picks, then add somebody else to the fray... now thats unstoppable... couldve been the most unstoppable team ever
OKC ownership set it up by trading Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis after landing Durant so that fans would lose interest then they could blame Seattle to facilitate their theft of the Sonics while tanking. That led to Westbrook and Harden picks, it’s only justice that they didn’t get a chip and they all left!
Miss all of this man, The old thunder, the classic NBA bottomline
What a playoff series that was, the birth of OKC big 3 going toe to toe with the defending champs at the time. One of my favorite playoff series
The most hype era of OKC the best days 2011 to 2012
This OKC team even got Ibaka and Green. If they can keep this 5 players now then is the best small ball line up in history.
This game is literally all 3 of these players careers fully developed crazy to see!
Watching this just confirmed for me that egos got too big in okc cause they all had chemistry on 100 at this point, should of kept these men together, best team that never happened
If this big 3 stayed together, it would've been more likeable than the warriors.
Right? Three humble guys coming from humble beginnings and worked their way up. And in a small market team?? I wouldve rooted for em too. I dont like anyone on the warriors apart from KD and Dray. Curry was a rich kid who had a nba fsther to help him. And so was Klay. Man i miss these days. Glad kd and dray have become stars.
Chirayu Desai KD is the most unlikeable player on GS bro what are you saying 😂
@@milesvincent6953 i respect him whats ur problem. He wasnt rich or anythibg listen to his mvp speech or hi podcasts. He isnt a bad person
Chirayu Desai generally KD is regarded as the weakest superstar in history. Obviously he’s an elite talent, but his move to golden state and more importantly what that says about his competitive drive is what causes that disdain.

Listen to the freaking crowd all game long I couldn't imagine playing in that
One of the most exiting teams in NBA history! They failed once they let Harden go & decided to pay Serge.. but at least we got to witness some greatness & enjoy it
I don’t think the nba will ever see a trio of teammates this individually talented ever again. It’s sad they didn’t win one, but it’s still amazing to think they made it that far as young as they were.
Not to mention Jeff green & ibaka
They should do a "Where are they now" documentary on the 2010-2011 Oklahoma City Thunders.
RIP to 3 MVPs 😂
They didn't achieve anything together except KD with his 4 scoring title and an MVP. But they achieved something when they got separated.
