Fiat 500 - Rear Shock Absorbers Replacement

A short video on replacing the rear shocks on a Fiat 500. Very simple job and anyone with a socket set and a jack can replace these.

Think I'd load the suspension before tightening the shocks: not sure those rubber bushes are meant to turn in the housing.

The bushes don’t turn when torquing up but yes everything should technically be torqued up under load but at circa 70nm you will be safe enough 😉

Think I may replace my wife's for the rear gas absorbers. Does it drive better?

Wasn’t really an issue with the shock absorber itself but the bushes at the top had failed which cause a horrendous loud knocking noise when driving
