I really appreciate how you used the kayak for 3 years in real conditions before giving a review and recommendation!

      Thanks for the comment.
I think it's necessary to "test" a product before giving a review. Nice to hear that others agree 😁

I just want to thank you for making this video. Very informative. I followed your advice, bought the Elite with the Orbit paddles, and it has performed great for us. :)

The new pup looks happy on the water!! Also looks very similar to mine! Husky mixes are the most watery dogs of all!!

Hey Matt. I have been doing some research on inflatable kayaks and the advanced elements scores well in everything but tear down and storage. What has your experience been on packing it up? Is it a nightmare getting it back in the bag? Thanks

You do need to fold it to the right size so it fits in the bag. If you make your folds too long or too short it won't zip up. But once you get used to that it's pretty easy. We have the drop-stitch floor in ours and I leave it in the kayak all the time. It still fits in the normal bag. I believe the normal floor would fold up a bit easier/ smaller.

Can dogs be stored below deck under the convertible deck? Is the fabric breathable enough to avoid suffocation or getting too hot under there? How is it at keeping you warm and dry when it is cold or rainy? That's the main thing I'm wondering about as I debate getting the Sea Eagle Razorlite or the Advanced Elements Convertible Elite. Razorlite doesn't have a convertible deck, so I'm leaning towards Advanced Elements, but I wonder how fast the Advanced Elements one is. Razorlite can go up to 6mph.

We never used the convertible deck, but I speak to the fabric. I think it would do a good job of keeping you dry, but it probably doesn't breath well, so I think it would get hot fast if you had a dog crammed below the deck and you were working hard paddling.
I'm not sure how it compares tp the Razorlite, but we are happy with how it performs. It feels very similar to traditional, hard recreaional ocean kayaks.

I have a similar model that I've used quite a bit over the past ten years and it shows almost no wear.

It is going slow, but still working on it. Hopefully will finish this part of the camper soon and get the next video edited after that.
