LMUMA RECREATION SITE CAMPGROUND REVIEW | YAKIMA VALLEY BLM CAMPGROUND

- We are out this week at Lmuma Recreation Area outside of Yakima, Washington doing our campground review. This place has good views of the Yakima River valley with its interesting scenery at this BLM campground.
This campground has solar with most to all sites having great access to incoming sun for optimal solar and only has 7 sites for that personal feel. The sites are a mix of some good setups and poor design (espeically site #1). But at a cheap price for 15$ a night (at time of filming 4/23).
The only real cons of the campground are minimal privacy between most sites with most sites not able to get a good view of the water.
This is a great treat of Eastern Washington camping with river access with some of the other recreation areas up and down river , perfect for rafting , boating and tubing during those hot summer days. This would be best for smaller setups with tents, vans and truck camper setups, site 5 and 7 might accomodate a smaller trailer.

Would you camp here ? This place is small and really caters to smaller setups . But I would say site 1 is almost pointless !!
Looks like a nice place.
All 4 of the campgrounds are pretty small and I do think this one will appeal to a bunch of people.

Not much camping for travel trailers for sure. it would be nice to be on the water, but $15 day is way to much for basically being in a parking lot. Thanks for taking the time to take us on a tour.
Not all BLM sites are created equal for sure. Some of these Yakima BLM campgrounds could look and be a little better. We don’t have a ton of BLM land in Washington so I think they may have tried to cram too much in such a small place.
