0:38 You forgot that bear tank is pretty good, and even preferred on certain boss fights. There's definitely gonna be a tank shortage in hardcore, and bears are gonna be just as necessary as warriors.
I mained boomkin druid in wow classic. Its the most fun leveling class i have played but less fun at 60 (if you arent into healing). So i would recommend druid as an alt 10/10
For sure, played a resto druid in classic. Literally with molten gear you can get 1.2k HoT per tick for like 12 seconds. This also is less stressful when you got to heal as you just HoT and focus on other stuff.
Let's address some issues. 1. By modern standards, none of the classes are fun to level early on due to limited abilities. A mage mainly casts Frostbolt or Firebolt 1-10. A druid casts Wrath and the occasional Moonfire. 2. 1-20 is slow for people bad at mana management. Downrank. Use entangling roots. Auto attack mobs 1-10. Yes, your defense skill matters even in forms. 3. In end game, as a Classic raider i was a MT and dps. Feral dps is more interactive than most others. If you're just focused on numbers then go warrior or rogue. I tanked almost every boss and mob. This isn't 2004-2006. The only tree not really viable in raids is Balance. Maybe a truly rare exception out of 10,000. Feral is solid enough dps (when put forth the effort) and a more than solid MT/OT (FYI: it's feral...the tre split was BS and Guardian is a cheap version of the original). Resto is resto ane you will always have a spot. If you're feral expect to farm MCPs and other consumes. Signed a lifetime feral from Vanilla to Legion to private servers to Classic.
yo for early levels just buy a 7.2 dps dagger with +2 healing. put on moonfire and just auto away. It makes it more fun, and u can dot things as ur walking by for ez exp (kiting with autos). Driud is fun for the leveling experience, i recommend to paly it if u love the thrill of HC and chatting with people and not so much the aspect of dying if u get frustrated easily, since druids heal a ton. Also if u like to paly as melee :)
Pro tip for alliance druids. Always and i mean always have a paladin in party. Blessingt of might and kings are to good, and if you take improved thorns while having a paladins retribution you get a 60-80 dps or more per second on tanking atleast 3 or more characters. I grinded dungeouns so fast with holy pala feral druid
How much better is resto with the removal of buff cap? Related question - does this also mean more than 1 HoT (rejuv for example) can be applied to the same target?
Druid has the craziest survival ability. Those stats about making it to 60 are heavily skewed because most Druids are feral and tanking. Tanks always die first.
Also druids don't gain anything outta weapon skill levels, so no need to level up the weapon skill right? And ofc I'd add the Manual Crowd Pummeler to the list of weapons since it's just crazy good on druids, even at max lvl
This is bout Feral kitty. Is that BiS? BC SPIRIT based Resto is OP in Vanilla. And most overlook our nature. Note: I Resto'd in Vanilla. Not Classic. Vanilla
Looking at racials in isolation, you'd think tauren...but if you do any sort of grouping then alliance is better because you'll get more out of paladin blessings than shaman totems.
It's personal preference. Druid is the one class both factions, but only 1 race. The advantages each race has aren't so great so you play what you enjoy.
tauren are by far the better choice for druids in hardcore. the wetlands run is always super dangerous and can be super cancerous like if people are just waiting for the next person to run by and aggro the orc
By far? Nope. It's preference. Your ignorance of the ways to get around is showing. You don't have to run through Wetlands. You swim to Westfall. You're on UA-cam and took no time to do any research. I wouldn't follow someone so ignorant. Tauren have two distinct advantages, Warstomp and higher base stamina. Outside of that NOTHING better. Not a better staring area. Uglier race. Night Elf gets higher agility and Shadowmeld. Meld is great 1-20 without cat form and still great for AFKing or eating or drinking in a mob dense area. Leave the Horde bias at the door and don't spew such BS. Played druid for almost two decades and leveled both countless times.

What did you enjoy most about boomkin leveling?
Btw restro druids are actually amazing end game, very mana efficient compared to other classes

Great cat add-on? HEAR KITTY!

Tyvm, exactly the addons i was looking for, great video!

I haven't heard anything new on more than 1 druid HoT, so I'd assume it's still 1.
I thought its each dungeon lock outs once a day. Not that you can only run one dungeon.
Correct. Which is what was stated.
If I remember right that cap is removed once you hit 60. Not positive on that but I've heard that before.

SSF Balance Druid Skinning Leatherworking
Slow but beautiful, never drank anything bc 5 sec rule timing
Cool Videos dude😻
Quit saying you can only do one dungeon a day. You can do all dungeons once per day. Reset times are all the same (depends on server).
Loksey's Training Stick only gives you +60 attack power when fighting beasts... I'd replace this option with Manual Crowd Pummeler
Also druids don't gain anything outta weapon skill levels, so no need to level up the weapon skill right? And ofc I'd add the Manual Crowd Pummeler to the list of weapons since it's just crazy good on druids, even at max lvl
Yeah good point, not having to level weapon skills is huge!

Vanilla
Legend has it you was there when they forged the ring
Feral for life. Feral since 2004.
And feral is much easier druid leveling for most.
on stitches EU theres 1 lvl 60 druid online right now, everything else is 10+ or even 20+
Lol at 9:50
Speed leveling is all aoe mage if you’re brave enough to deal with it. So prob mage, hunter, Druid in speed. Druid still fast for sure though

Bro, the restiction for dungeon lock out 1 per day is only for lvling 1-59 after you reach lvl 60 u can do how many dungeons you want...
I mean 1-59 is prolly the bulk of the game anyways, least for new players
And it's only for the same dungeon. You can do SM gy + lib + armory in one day for example.
yikes. Unless resto
but druid is the most fun leveling though, so perfect as an alt not as a main if people dont like healing
