Rogues not making it to 60 is 100% due to defensive cooldowns. Wanting to keep killing early and not waiting 5 minutes for evasion or vanish, in conjunction with dynamic respawns, will get ya every time
Never understood why priest isnt considered fun, when its only just wanding if you mindlessly grind, and the fun can come from pushing yourself to take on multiple mobs while managing health, shields and mana efficieciently. Especially when the same argument can be made for non aoe mage of frostbolt, frost nova, move back, frostbolt, repeat
the fun fact is even if shamans are not the best class in anithing they want to take one to a raid for that juicy WF totem so that means u have spot for raids and dg for sure and if u going for improve totems ur prety sure that thy wants u in a raid so that means deep enh going to be a think in HC. Even for lvling if u want to reduce ur mana cost enh is the way case as elemental u walking around there with cloth or leather and aganst mobs ur weak. You can use mail at lvl 40 so it means more armour more resist. Can use shields kind a tanky boy.
The "most likely to make it to lvl 10" list is nothing to go by imo. It is filled with super bad players restarting over and over again. Hell, I have never even died before ten regardless of class, have a few deaths from fizzle at 10, a few from gazz'uz at lvl 12. So I'm not even in the data
1-10 world record is held by a human paladin. Warlocks probably die most before level 10 bc they rush to try and get imp too early. gnome especially as i think theyre the only ones that the imp quest monsters are aggressive.
If you know how to play a hunter you don't have to melee at all. It's just a bit annoying having to kite everything until level 10, also if you don't level your weapon skill you're just a stupid hunter. It's the first thing I always do as a hunter is make sure my weapon skill is high enough so I can hit mobs. It's actually very simple, just send your pet in on a green mob and wing clip until OOM, drink and repeat. Your weapon skill goes up very fast. Also priests have a very hard chance to make it to 60 because they have no real crowd control other than fear. If you get jumped by respawns you are probably dead.
As I play warlock i think it has to do with no mobility and overconfidence. Many use succubus for the higher dps as well, but void sac will save your life.
I mained NE rogue in vanilla, and with vanish, gouge, kidney, sprint, blind, meld, evasion...I almost never got caught out. I'm very surprised to see them at C tier for reaching 60. Hunter was very chill in comparison, and warlock was just disgusting. I fully expected hunter and warlock to be S tier. o_O
Rogues are surprisingly hard to get to 10 due to there not being decent enough weapons to get them there and having no skills to work with. They are just warriors in leather at that point. And getting to 60, most people play standart PVE combat spec which while good on damage is absolutely horrible in survivability and will kill you once you get a bit over your head.
I usually buy Stilleto and train BS for sharpening stones in the first town, gets me to 10 easily and then you get dw and a dagger from class quest Speaking of combat Riposte is great when fighting humanoids. If you keep up with your sword progression kill speed is great and you hardly take any damage if like me you open with cheap shot. Sure you have to be careful not to pull to much without CDs but that's true for most classes. Also being slightly overleveled for the mobs helps tremendously and makes questing smooth.
@@Khagrim While the path described is really well done, let me just open your eyes to the magic that is garrote into a 5 point rupture. It ignores armour. Which makes fighting not only humaniods easier but also pretty much anything especially harder armoured stuff which there is a lot of. I mostly go for a weird combat/sub build with the combat being an afterthought after I've picked up preparation. Double evasion lets me solo even dungeon bosses for some nice weapon upgrades.
one EU it was a nightmare to get into raids as hunter. For safe raidspots go tankdruid, warlock, warrior, shaman or dwarfpriest. i go hunter anyway since its most fun for me :P
Warlocks pets start to suck especially with holding aggro. Rogues get caught out a lot. A bad sap aggro'd out, a vanish that's too close or resisted against a high mob. They can survive however well in dungeons with vanish, but solo play they actually can be way more severely punished than other classes. However given you need to instance a lot for prebis, vanish is probably the safest and #1 skill to save you in dungeons. Also while ret will usually be the safest bet to get to 60 with low APM, you're also not going to be popular to come to dungeons. DPS? lol no warrior will agree to that. Tank? No. Your only option will be to spec as a healer, and even then there are better healers. But, you will make a lot of gold from saving on your mounts and get to 60 anyway so it's probably a good payoff. However flip it around, a warrior has a pretty horrible time up to 30, starts to get easier with sweeping, a better axe from SM and when they hit 60 they are S tier in two categories of DPS and TANK. Priests also you'll always get a group AND they are slow but safe to level, so they win at everything - except maybe fun until lvl40 shadowform.
How the heck is lock D on getting to lvl 10 lmao, it's like the easiest levelling experience early by far; curse of weakness is so busted, and they're quite tanky anyway with demon armour and soul bond

If you know what you are doing as a Warrior and target the right dungeons at the right times for the right gear with your instant garaunteed invites, utilizing stance dancing and good decision-making while out questing, Warrior levels very, very well. The good warriors know this. It honestly feels like a top 3 class if you do it well. Plus, sometimes you just get lucky with crits and everything blows up in a way that it doesn't for any other class-and you have enough good tools to stay alive. The main thing is you just shouldn't ever be doing content higher than your level. When fighting things a few levels below you when you are in good gear, especially low armor enemies, you can just charge in and fight 3-5 mobs again and again. Sweeping / whirlwind is more damage than anyone else is doing and you aren't losing much hp.
It is impossible to die as a priest once you get a wand… you can solo elites your own level already at level 15 and all the way through to 60… how is priest C tier what 😂
@@Khagrim It is not weak in leveling. It has a higher skill floor to be effective though. And that the meta seems to be set in stone that you HAVE TO go Enhancement 2h doesn't help. Totems are a massive part of being a good shaman. Placement is essential to not have to replace between every mob. They are cheap to use, and you should use them.
