Nice vlog as always mate, and an interesting experiment 🤘🏻 still waiting for the Freddie Mercury cosplay (with Chidsvidz as Matthew Kelly) 😂 take care dude! 🔥
Be seeing you there next year. It will be my official Download replacement. Hard not to spend money at Download when they make you camp so far away. I managed to spend very little at the last 2 because campervan was really close but that was a knee jerk reaction to them hiking prices, normally I would support the festival. Looking forward to trees.
Excited to watch this video, my partner and I followed you and your download vids. Great content in general - sad I didn't spot you at trees to annoy you and all with a hello. One side point - lovely that you're offering a cheap alternative festival and brilliant to educate people on how they can save at a festival (I'm saying this as someone who hasn't actually watched the end of the video yet I must admit) - however I feel like with a festival like trees. An independent festival that beautiful run for the people we want to encourage people to spend money. This year was my first trees and Mt partner and I went on a budget ourselves - however I've come out of it feeling like I actually really want to go next year (best run festival in the world) and try and support it by spending as much as I can really afford. Would love to see a video doing this for a more corporate fest like download or huge fest like reading as opposed to a Independant that really relies on us, as punters really putting our cash back into the festival. P.s. love the cat. Hopefully spot you at download next year!
@@Vampireinthecornerrr yeah I did say at the end of the video these are festival people should put money into but it just happened to be the next festival on my list so this was the one I done the experiment at, from now on I have to cost cut with the baby on the way so probably be doing the same thing at download next year and every other one going forward, be interested to see what the lineup is next year too.
Think I'll be taking some tips from here for next year (even DL maybe) in terms of making more food at camp! Was cool to say hello to you briefly though. Loved the vid 👌😁
I could hear your smile when you were filming that Nicholas cage flag 😂 you need to see longlegs. Think I said this lbwfore but I’ll try be at trees next year given I have no festivals in mind for next year
I think it's pretty easy not to spend a lot at a festival but it depends on what kind of festival experience you want. If I had big gaps in bands then sure I'd go back to tent and cook something but if my schedule is full on then I'm quickly getting something from a vendor.
@@Mb-zu6on yeah a lot easier to buy from a vendor and not have to walk all the way back to the camp, I’ll be buying a few bits going forward but then saving and using my own stuff for the rest.
@simon_bond this year at bloodstock I'm buying food there. I usually cook breakfast & do my own coffee. Not getting to bloodstock until Friday afternoon so effectively not buy 2 meals there. I don't drink on the Sunday anyway so money saved there.
Thanks for another great upload. Went on Saturday evening to see Kid Bookie, Creeper and Don Broco. First time ever attending, what an amazing festival, couldn't get over how nice everybody was. Already booked weekend tickets next year for wife and I. Even in the highly unlikely event there is not a single band that float our boats, can still see it being an amazing weekend for the chill vibe and friendliness of it all.

@@Kevr73 there wasn’t many bands for me this year but it’s just such a great festival and vibe I can’t miss one.
Brilliant video. I'm going bloodstock this year, do you know how I get slient disco headphones and if we can pay card or cash?
Silent disco is free. Me and Simon were there last year, they give you headphones as you enter
@@chidzvidz yas! Mr chidz is correct, just make sure you get there early or you will be waiting in line for ages as it’s a one in one out policy
