Bringing a 240l wheelie bin with me this year to put all my stuff in. My mate did it last year and i was extremely jealous because of how easy it was to bring your stuff in

I have a bit of experience going to download over the years, and this is a pretty good list
As of for not carrying everything from the car at once, when I was waiting in line to get my wristband, someone said to me, "Is that all you've come with?" and looked surprised
I told him this is just so I can get set up and relax for a few hours, then going for the rest of the stuff
I'm definitely doing the same this year
You know it! It’s the best was to do it, nice and relaxed.
I'd say baby wipes for shoes and things like that but to wash yourself I'd suggest a Tupperware tub, flannel and soap, you feel so much cleaner having a flannel down than wet wipes
is it possible for you to record a video, about permitted cooking stoves, ve got my tickets booked for 2025 but not to sure about what cooking equipment your allowed in the camp site
Can't wait for download last year was my first since covid only did the weekend managed to get the Mrs to agree to the full 5 days this year
It doesn't matter how many festivals I've been too, I will never be prepared and I will always forget something I need.

Ive seen these waterproof over shoes on shein has good reviews and they have keyring poncho and portable urinal for girls worth having a look on there for cheap camping .

Here we go again! We know we close to festival season when these start popping up
I can't believe how spicy the weather was. Made a coffee and the sun had heated the mug it was hotter than when it started, burnt my lip lol
Each year temperature records are being broken I reckon the wet downloads are going to be the rare ones now rather than the sunny ones

I reckon us lads out there......CHIDZ included, should also take some biscoff and nutella spread as well as some "adult art magazines " for those dark , cold nights in the tent 😊

Another good tip is that Download has the fat franks camping shop on site and you can order before the festival and collect when you get there. Some content creators also have discount codes aswell

One thing id HIGHLY reccomend insted of a blow up bed is a fishing bedchair. Trust me you wont look back

What do you suggest on BBQs, I've heard different ppl with different answers on reusable BBQs are allowed an not.
This will be my first time but on day pass what time do the bands perform onwards
Friday usually 12-1pm onwards other days 11am onwards
They normally start around 12 ish although it can be earlier on some days depending how many are on the lineup.
How is it the co op at download do alcohol but at creamfields they don’t due to licensing laws

Mattress isn't essential. I did 5 years camping at Download just in a sleeping bag alone. As long as you're not sleeping on rocks, you'll be fine.
i'd say essentials are tent, sleeping bag, toilet roll, baby wipes, clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste, camping chair, alcohol, Power Bank charger, wellies, socks, Camping food, and something to cook it on (Those small bbq charcoal things, etc), tins of beans, fish, etc, and a speaker for your music. You can get everything else pretty much while you're there. Reckon if you budget correctly, around £400- £500 spending money is enough for the whole five days.
Getting a small flask to sneak into the arena with spirits is always fun. Empty plastic bottles of water, and replace them with clear liquids such as gin, or vodka. Then attach the lid back on them. I did that last year, and saved a ton of money on the drinks.
Have a fun weekend dude. I go for days at Download now as I found I got bored of long drawn out camping weekends since 2022. I did end up partying in the doghouse until 5am last time on Friday though 2023. Took a wrong turn on the way out, and ended up in the campsite.
I take the cardboard tube out of tge toilet roll , squash it flat and put it in a large ziplock bag alongside a small bottle of hand sanitizer .
your alcohol has got to be in a sealed plastic bottle, your not allowed to transfer it this year

its a ahame that all the bands at download suck ...i haven't heard of most of them ...bring back monster's of rock ..the price of food is a joke aswell...

My tips as a festival veteran and over prepper!
Washing:
Along with the baby wipes, anti bac wipes (body ones) or gel is good to help with stinky pits! I also recommend a small spray bottle for water so you can wash if you need to with that.
Hand soap is a must too. You can get soap leaves, and leave a few in your purse/wallet so you can actually wash your hands! I always give my hands a wash at the water points. The gel might kill the bacteria, but it doesn’t get rid of dust, mud (and other people’s 💩)
Lighting:
I got a decent (for the price) head torch in Poundland and a little key ring torch too. They were actually in the DIY area
Other bits:
Rehydration tablets/drinks. Makes such a difference. Keep the electrolytes up.
Peebol bags for night time wee’s in the tent, especially when it’s a wet one!
Antihistamines! We are in a field all week haha.
Puppy pads. If it’s wet then you can put your clothes/shoes on them to soak up the water/mud. Good for spills (or beer related accidents 🤮 ), or even some bin bags and one of those for emergency toilets!
What3words app. Pin your car and your tent, so if you get lost you can find them. Also good to find friends in the crowd.
Warmth below you in bed is as important as above. Air beds can be cold, so put something like a picnic or foil blanket between it and the floor.
And break in new shoes before you go! I had to drive home one day to get a old pair of shoes as my feet were so blistered!
