- How to replace your microwave or even install your microwave using these easy steps. It takes around 45 min for someone who is familiar with these types of appliance replacements to complete the task. If you're not so familiar, I'd plan on 1.5 hours. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, let me know below and thanks for watching!!

Great video. To the point, and no time wasted. I like the pace very much, but it may be a bit fast for someone that does not have some hands-on with handywork at home. Thanks a lot of sharing your expertise.
Great call out! My whole focus is try to just provide the steps and if they need they can pause, rewatch, or go back as much as they need. Thank you for watching!!
Thanks for this video. Our microwave stopped heating and think it’s cheaper to replace it opposed to a serviceman charging for his expertise. I will replace it myself ❤
You got this! Get an extra pair of hands if you need, be careful, don't rush anything, and lemme know how it turns out!!
Too professional. Where is the " this is a 4 beer job" and " its close enough" and" looks good from my house". Good job
Haha I'm just trying to help others get the professional look and feel, without needing to feel stuck paying those premiums because they don't know how but want to, all by a possible demonstration video. If you wanna wing it and see what sticks, cause it looks good from here, 2 beers in, there's a reason why people call it DIY. 😄
very nice video
Thank you!!
I've watched several of these and they all seem similar. Unplug the microwave, remove the top screws and the microwave should come out. I have an older Kenmove (1990 vintage) that died and I went to replace it today. It looks like all of these in the videos. There are two top screws, score. Removed them but the microwave is solidly held in position and I mean solid, no wiggle, no sliding at all. Checked the cupboards on each side for any additional screws, no. On one side there is an enough of a gap between the microwave and the cabinet to run a straight edge up and down, no other bolts seem to be there. Removed the bottom frame piece holding the lights to see if there are any bolts, nothing. Suggestions on what to look at next?
And you've tried lifting the back to see if there is a hook on bracket that would then drop it off the wall?
Nice. Thank you
You're welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting 🤙
