John Deere really came up with a great upgrade when they created the "30" series. I see your 4230 has an 8 forward gears, 4 reverse power shift transmission. The last tractor my family bought before we lost the farm was a 4630. Oh, how I loved that tractor! It had the Quad Range, 16 forward gears transmission, which I really enjoyed. It had factory dual rear wheels and that' air conditioned cab was the best cabbed tractor we had ever had. It pulled our 6-bottom, on-land hitch plow with ease, as if it wasn't even there. It easily could have pulled 7 or 8 bottoms. It was extremely hard watching all our fantastic John Deere tractors go when they had to be auctioned off when we were forced to sell off all our equipment and then lost our farm. I'm sure you're really enjoying your latest addition to your John Deere lineup.
