#F12021 #F1Game #F1
Ben: I’m gonna get some hate for this, Red Bull.
Alex:
*Haas*
alex is like hold my beer haha
I would seriously watch a weekly F1 round up with you guys!
Yep I second that
I agree. Around 20min recap would be great
Yh same, completely agree, that would be great
I’d love to listen to some sort of F1 podcast with these two.
Same!
Haas overtaking McLaren for P4 😂🤣 I think Alex confused saving resource points with real life 😉
MAZEWIN IS CHAMPION OF THE WORRRRRLLLLLD
@@eaj0782 not anymore
Aged well
😁 I stand corrected
Hello there
Watching till “7th in constructors” , Alex have a lot of trust in Haas…
Just wait till you see where he actually puts them
I put them P6 in my predictions 😬😬
I'm watching at 5th ... Nothing yet
i don't know what drugs Alex is on but sheeeeesh
hehe Mick P2 and K-Mag P1. Joke's on y'all
Ben: Haas only has one Driver scoring points even if their car was capable of it.
Magnussen: "Allow me to introduce myself"
Still only 1 driver. Mick sucks
With everything happening with Haas' sponsorships right now and Mazepin possibly losing his standing within the team , I doubt it'll be a good year for them
I suspect this was recorded over a week ago and With the developments since then, their predictions would’ve changed quite a bit.
@@GandhiOfWar I mean they talked about testing as if it already happened so I doubt it.
@@colindelabie9734 That and also this video doesn’t need much editing: no background music, no cuts. Only thing you would need is face cam overlays and the standings which isn’t much considering they edit a lot of videos.
@@colindelabie9734 between the test and the invasion; they mention Haas might get sold to Mazepin, and that's definitely not happening now.
Its not about money, its about how stupid Haas engineers are and how incapable they are of solving their car problems.
Alex: Alpine hasn’t really done anything
Alonso’s podiums and Ocon’s win: *am I a joke to you*
To be fair, neither of those finishes happen without a ton of luck, doesn’t speak much for the team’s performance
@@eriq8904 Ocon led for pretty much the whole race. Obviously overtaking is pretty damn difficult at Hungary, but to say it was mostly luck isn’t fair to Ocon
@@kingbball66 the only reason he won that race was because of a turn one incident taking out multiple drivers and holding up the majority of the grid followed by a fortune mistake by Hamilton to not do the restart from the pit lane with slicks. I think mostly luck is generous. I could’ve said completely luck with some skill… by Alonso to defend Hamilton. His win was nearly nothing to do with himself.
Without that mess, ocon would never win that race
@@eriq8904 So does every podium finish that was not RB or Merc last year.
Obviously something needs to happen, but Alonso's Podium was genuine, he was so far ahead of everyone in the midfield.
You still need to be there to capitalize when it counts.
Why don’t you guys make a podcast together after every grand prix
It would just be Ben chatting biased shit about how great mclaren and Hamilton was, and it would be Alex with an unbiased good opinion based on facts lol
@@Lm10goatt i hope you realise "unbiased good opinion based on facts" is the most redundant sentence ever. literally none of that made sense
@@Lm10goatt bens wanted max to win wdc last year btw
@@Lm10goatt he was supporting max last season, atleast do some research instead making yourself look stupid.
@@thundershooter301 have you watched this video and more of his videos or are you just clueless?
Whenever Ben bets well on a team, it makes me have less faith in them.
Alex putting Haas in 4th might just have been an absolute masterstroke
I would like to go bold with my predictions….. just like my head😂😂😂😂😂😂
I died laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I got 8 teams the same as Ben (AT 5 and Alpine 6), so from that I can only assume I have completely screwed up my predictions this year.
Exactly 😭😭 I would change them rq
lol
Red Bull came out and said that Alpha Tauri wasn’t a junior team but their sister team and with how consistent Gasly is and Tsunoda getting more experience I think they can be top 5 imo 🙏🏼😎
There's a difference between saying it and acting on it
Everyone knows AT is still the junior team
Petition for Ben and Alex to start a podcast…
You 2 definitely need to start a podcast😂
It would just be Ben chatting biased bullshit about how great mclaren and Hamilton / ricciardo was, and it would be Alex coming in with actual facts and unbiased opinions lol
I havve to say I really enjoy the dynamics between you two off-track. For me the "banter" during co-op episodes can come off as a bit too much sometimes, especially from Alex's side. But your real-life videos together are just perfect.
Would love you two to have a podcast that recaps every race weekend and other F1 news
Oscar Piastri to take over mid season and finish 13th in the driver's standings
Replace Alonso or Ocon?
@@superchacho777 I say he will jump into the haas replacing mazepin
@@DannyAQ they've said that they'll replace him with fittapaldi
@@DannyAQ and win the championship by winning every other single race + fastest laps and extra points
Alpine won’t let piastri go anywhere but there car
Haas being sold to Mazepin...
That aged well already LOL
Well surely these can’t be worse than Bens last year😂
About that...
They are..
Oh boy lmao….
Oh Boy you shouldn't have said that
Ben’s not wrong about Hamilton having issues with Russell. We saw it last year with Lewis having a title fight again. Now he will have two solid drivers to fight with, and who knows if the dark horse Ferrari could add more into the mix.
dependant, on How MCLaren or Ferraris cars are he has up to 4 contenders.
I agree with Alex that Lawrence's way too involved for a team owner, which might create unnecessary pressure over the people working.
Mclarens really nailed the porpoising straight out of the garage as well.
No way we go through one of the biggest rule changes and we still have mercades 1st in the constructors
Ngl these predictions have gone very much in the mud after the recent races
Well look who is the silly goose for Haas now ben
I think Alex is just doing his predictions for the memes that will follow after and to get people talking
Nah, he’s actually done research, unlike Ben. The only 2 weird ones are Haas and Alpine, all the other ones are pretty good
@@Lm10goatt yeah lol. Ben makes great f1 game videos but it really feels like he gets all his info from article headlines only. He hadn't even seen the red bull car lmao
Interesting
@@JohnnyWortel exactly, his predictions are already proven to be completely wrong after one race 😂
As if I'm even super quiet in a chatty video, do you even audio levels?
Yeah u are louder than the v12s
Alex why were you super quiet? And also wtf is that Alpine prediction?
I think nico was at a different point in his career where it was him over the team. For bottas I think it was the team over himself and there will be a good mix of that for Russel
Can’t wait for this to age like milk
It has already… “mazepin will buy haas halfway through” lmao
Ending part seriously funny
Ben bye guys thanks for watching
Alex : bye guys thanks for watching
Ben: nice parrot
Alex- "mazepin buys Haas mid season"
Russia- ...
Constructors:
P1 - Red Bull
P2 - Mercedes
P3 - Ferrari
P4 - Williams
P5 - McLaren
P6 - Alpha Tauri
P7 - Alfa Romeo
P8 - Alpine
P9 - Aston Martin
P10 - Haas
Drivers:
P1 - Max Verstappen
P2 - Charles Leclerc
P3 - Lewis Hamilton
Joint P4 - Sergio Perez & George Russell
P6 - Carlos Sainz jr
My gut feeling is the ferrari will struggle at times with some reliability issues, and that'll be the barrier keeping them from breaking in to the top-2, and that it'll be Carlos' car that suffers more than Leclerc's.
I don’t completely disagree with you, but Ferrari will be faster that Red Bull because of the Reliability shown in Practice. Red Bull have already had a gear box failure, and that was just in testing. The Ferrari’s had the most consistent “quick times” during testing too while being able to do the most mileage throughout the three days of testing.
When Alex said that alpine would have the least powerful engine
Alpine: And I took it personally
Oh, Ben...
RB, P4.... 😬
Hindsight is a wonderful tool! 😅
You should do a podcast like Tommo and Aldas do
Great video guys, but audio balance! Balance the audio next time please, Alex is waaay too quiet. Keep it up 👍
You guys are gonna make a podcast next i guess
Your a great driver and a great editor
Ben doesn't edit his own videos
@@hdr_diamondz oh
I presume this was filmed before Russia's invasion
It wasn't
Edit: Oscar will be in Alpine in 2023, and I'd scrape Ocon for him, keep Alonso for another two years (he's shown that the old boy still has it), and pick up Pierre in 2024 when his Red Bull ties are severed.
I think Alpine will be fighting for 3rd and 4th. They're engine was turned down until it finally wasn't and although the differential said "see-ya", they showed some pretty good pace. They've been working on this engine since 2019. They've been running the Renault EB-20 since 2019 and the same chassis since then as well. This is their first chance at some sort of redemption and they desperately need a customer team. They'll be fighting for their spot, especially with an absolute master in Otmar leading the way now (although his effects won't take place until 2023).
Williams will be close to the top 5. I won't go into it here, but anyone with an aerodynamic backing knows that the car is ingenious. It's not where all the teams start, it where they finish, and FX Demaison has been known to work absolute miracles. Dorilton is investing at the cost cap, and the talent is absolutely still there (obviously). The biggest asterisk this year will be Albon and Latifi. Latifi wasn't as far off George as it appeared (the FW43 was the 9th slowest car) so he was outperforming it as well, just not to the level of someone like George. FX has also stated that they're overwhelmingly pleased with their correlation, which has been Williams issue for years now. They threw the book at it (even exploiting the Coanda Effect) and I think it'll pay off nicely.
Williams is also now fully backing their junior program with cars in their liveries and obviously setting up for a VW Group entrance. Williams is on a good trajectory and I'm here for it.
GR63 will be a challenger. You all have been underestimating him for far too long and he's about to make several people look bad. We'll see!
1) Mercedes
2) Ferrari
3) Red Bull
4) Alpine
5) McLaren
6) Williams
7) AlfaTauri
8) Aston Martin
9) Alfa Romeo
10) Haas
Again, its not where they start, it's where they finish.
I’m predicting verstappen or Leclerc leading a race with Hamilton p2 and russell p3 and toto will say to swap them cause Hamilton can’t pass and that will cause drama
My top 10 constructor standings for 2022:
1. Mercedes
2. Ferrari
3. Red Bull
4. McLaren
5. Alpine
6. Alpha Tauri
7. Aston Martin
8. Williams
9. Haas
10. Alfa Romeo
I agree with Ben’s Red Bull prediction, I see Mercedes 3rd though behind Ferrari and McLaren.
That's madness. Pure hope rather than logic. Merc have way too many resources and people who know what their doing to mess up that badly.
@@LMaximus904 A bit harsh but I agree, people "give up" on Mercedes way too early. They upgraded last years car only once and had barely anything to do in 2020, they are experienced and have basically all the facilities (simulators, personnel, wind tunnel, engineers, etc.) and the best or at least 2nd best driver pairing in my opinion
@@LMaximus904 the engineering they have is unbelievable. They wont fuck up for sure
I think Ferrari seems pretty good, so they will fight for the championship with Mercedes and Red Bull, while McLaren will be like a few tenths slower
@@metamonogatari3139 I genuinely think that Mercedes just like everybody else wil l have more homework to do with these cars. But to imply that McLaren and Ferrari will somehow topple them is pure hope over logic. Ferrari have made some radical changes and taken risks in terms of the chassiss/aero of the car. I think the lineup is very competitive and they both will win A race next year. Ferrari will be like Red Bull were a few years ago. 3rd quickest car but with an outside chance to win a race no matter what circuit it is. I think McLaren will be like that as well but not as often as Ferrari.
Alex is REALLY optimistic if he thinks Haas is going to finish P4. I mean, if we go off of how their car looks... Maybe we get another Brawn GP? Who knows.
Yo wassup
1) Mercedes
2) Ferrari
3) Red Bull
4) McLaren
5) Alpine
6) Alphatauri
7) Haas
8) Aston Martin
9) Williams
10) Alfa Romeo
This is going to age so bad haha
How do you both feel about Alex's Haas placement in the championship now that K Mag has the second seat?
Gillon think Haas are gonna score, what 200+ points? That would be, a shock
26:28 They got us
1. Mercedes
2. Ferrari
3. McLaren
4. Red Bull
5. Alpine
6. Williams
7. Aston Martin
8. Alpha Tauri
9. Alfa Romeo
10. Haas
1. Leclerc
2. Hamilton
3. Russell
I think its safe to say Alex doesn't believe in El Plan
You gel it's good bring on 2022 reviews. The race yt can get in the bin.
It ages well XD!!!!
Because the last 2 Canadian Gp's were cancelled there was a lot of people renewing tickets before they went on sale, so it sold out in hours. Still managed to get tickets but the seat selection was pretty bad
Ben, your space needs some sound treatment.
So reverby and tinny
Would absolutely love to see Jaime Chadwick on F2/F3, she deserves a lot better than the W series but I’m hoping this year will be it and she’ll project into something bigger 🤞
Constructors - 1. Ferrari 2. Mercedes 3. McLaren
Drivers - 1. Hamilton 2. Leclerc 3. Sainz
My not so bold prediction lol
Alpine has El Plan without the E
As for the Constructors Championship, I think the gap in points sill be significantly smaller between #1 and #3. Predictions...Point differential in brackets. Calculated VERY quickly with little thought :)
1. Mercedes - Unfortunately. But I think George gives them the TINY edge
2. RedBull (-35)
3. Ferrari (-110)
4. Mclaren (-215)
5. Aston Martin (-280)
6. Alpine (-350)
7. Alpha Tauri (-410)
8. Williams (-430)
9. Alfa Romeo (-500)
10. Haas (-575)
Wow....I did this list before I watched the video, and aside from his head-scratching choice at #4, my list was very similar to Alex's
merc is probably gonna dominate like when the hybrid regulation era started and they have great teammates
My predictions( pre-testing)
WCC:
1. Mercedes
2. Ferrari
3. McLaren
4. Aston Martin
5. Red Bull
6. Alpine
7. Williams
8. Haas
9. Alpha Tauri
10. Alfa Romeo
WDC:
1. Leclerc
2. Hamilton
3. Russell
4. Riccardo
5. Sainz
6. Norris
7. Verstappen
8. Vettel
9. Alonso
10. Albon
11. Stroll
12. Perez
13. Ocon
14. Schumacher
15. Gasly
16. Latifi
17. Tsunoda
18. Bottas
19. Mazepin
20. Zhou
So Ben has put a team that had the driver’s title level with Alex who put the team with the last place driver.
Well I guess anything could happen but surely that’s a bit extreme.
Mazepin and verstappen in a little haas v red bull 1v1 next season, look forward to it.
Aston Martin couldn't develop their car last year? The new regulations last year completely ruined the low rake concept, that's why they sucked and that's why RB and AT profited. Aston Martin, they brought one update at the start of the season and that helped quite a bit but after that they focused on 2022. Alpha Tauri is way overrated.
Race review for sure 👍
jesus wept ben, i like your videos but damn the accoustics in that cupboard you're in, sounds like you're in a tin bucket. You could dampen that echo down just by hanging some towels on the walls, dang
This aged well mick only 0.5 seconds off max at testing if this is true performance haas might be a strong midfeild team
This is perfect to have in the ears while going on a walk
I’m with Ben here, my dark horse favourite driver has been Russell since 2019 and he has a chance to be wc and I think he’ll go for it
WHAT TIME DO YOU CALL THIS?
Out of all the yt predictions this one has aged the worse BY FAR
Does anyone else think the Engine freeze is so dumb? If you designed the best engine this year then you’re automatically the favorite for the next 3 years or however long it lasts. Developing engines is the biggest part of Formula 1 and it’s just gone from the sport for years
Wonder where k mag fits into all of this
I may as well copypasta my predictions over from reddit:
1) Ferrari
2) Merc
3) Red Bull
4) McLaren
5) Aston
6) Alpine
7) AT
8) Williams
9) Haas
10) Alfa Romeo
Drivers:
1) Lewis (as much as I want literally anybody else to win)
2) Max
3) Leglerg
4) Sainz
5) Russell
6) Perez
7) Norris
8) Ricciardo
9) Vettel
10) Gasly
11) Alonso
12) Albon
13) Stroll
14) Ocon
15) Tsunoda
16) Latifi
17) Schumi
18) Battery Voltas
19) Zhou
20) Mazepin
Predictions:
• Lewis wins 8th in Final race or second to last race.
• 4-way fight for the title at some point between both Ferraris, Lewis and Max.
• Red bull will have the best package at the start of the season but the other teams will catch up.
• Albon, Tsunoda or Stroll will get a podium at some point.
• Haas will score points.
• McLaren will have a slower package to begin the year.
• Lewis and George will collide at some point in the season.
• Lando/George will win their first Race.
• Ferrari will win constructors for first time in 15 years
• Gasly will move elsewhere by the end of the year.
• Alpine's Power unit will be unreliable and they'll be the team with the most DNFs due to engine/gearbox issues.
Even if the Alpine car is slowest, the drivers will still easily slap up the Haas pair.
when was this recorded
mercedes so composed: * Toto's headphones angry noises *
If they only did this a week later...
Alex really put haas over williams
This went well
I PRETTY MUCH AGREE WITH BEN IN FERRARI P2 BUT IG CHARLES CAN BE P2 OR P1 BUT I AM GOING FOR BEN😉😉
my top 10 from fastest to slowest
Ferrari
Mercedes
McLaren
Red Bull
Aston Martin
Alpha Tauri
Alpine
Williams
Alfa Romeo
Hass
Max has won 11 times this season, you said he might get a win or two.
Does Haas still stay at p4 after the latest news?
Love this Duo
I think Mclaren P2. The have got the shortest and probably most nimble car as a result. I think that’s the key to be a good car this season as high-speed corners are kinder to the ground effect cars. The also have the next 2 weeks to develop the car before Bahrain, as they don’t have problems with porpoising.
What looks like a basic car will be more detailed in Bahrain for sure
What sound levels do you call this?
Gillon got more faith in Mazepin than Guenther Steiner
wow...somebody hates El Plan sandbagging
for bens list i would switch ferrari with red bull
BRUV REDBULL IS BETTER THAN MCLAREN AND FERRARI Y U PUT RED BULL ON P4???
At the moment Haas is P3😂
Goddamn Alex's Mic is so quiet!
Can’t be putting Mercedes p1
no way alpine is last lol
That Haas prediction is bold, they don't even have equal facilties to be able to develop that car. I think they needed the whole year to gain a small advantage.
Red bull
Mercedes
McLaren
Ferari
Aston Martin
Alpine
Alpha Tauri
Williams
Haas
Alfa Romeo
How long ago was this recorded?
The Red Bull sidepods look innovative. But the rest is sort of basic.
Has Alex gone mad!? Nvm he always has...
