I enjoy making 2 inch collages with my tiny scraps and as you said near the end of the video, each of these could stand on it's own, but I love how cohesive it is.

This is really awesome and I’m going to give it a try. I love Golden paints and other products and Quinacridone Nico Azo Gold is my absolute favorite color!!. I also enjoy using a wide variety of “home improvement” supplies like the compound tape for mixed media. ♥️🖌️🎨

I like your pages! But in your supply list you said burnt umber. It is ago gold as you mentioned during filming.
Thank you! I actually used both. The first paint that is darker is burnt umber which is a heavy body. The second is Nickel Azo Gold which is a fluid acrylic. Here is the link for the nickel azo gold: amzn.to/43cgJou

This looks very fun, and I love how the spread turned out. I'm new to collage as opposed to mixed media in my art journal. I like the idea of this exercise. I'd like to ask, with such a large journal, what was your thinking to use such small squares?

I love to combine mixed media along with collage. It's fun to change up the size of the squares. I can either use these as inspiration for projects down the road. Or let these pages stand on their own for a cohesive spread.

I purchased the sketchbook from Michael’s today. Do you have trouble with the mediums going through to the other side? I tested fluid acrylics and acrylic ink and they leak through.
I have to be careful to not use too much ink/fluid or spray too much water. It's a sketchbook, not necessarily designed for mixed media so you will have to be careful.

It is pretty good! The paper is medium weight, it holds up pretty well.
