I've even dl'd your vids, n it takes so much memory on my phone. that's how much i enjoy your process. ps. what's this notebook? i love love the page colour, the line colours, its size and shape. it feels it might be vintage esque, cz the pages kinda look like a ledger. ty ❤️

I love the black & white! I just started a new journal, and I basically said that I'm just going to jump around in it. I love the idea of not finishing each spread at one time. That's very freeing! Thanks! ❤

I have recently found that I enjoy working in parts and pieces. I often paint than come back later and collage.

I was a fairly good mixed-media artist. Then things went horribly wrong in my life, I'm finally starting to recover. I haven't created in over four years and I'm terrified to start. It's like I don't know how anymore.

I haven't created in several months. Dealing with my dad passing, and recovering from surgery. I am having trouble just figuring out how to engage creatively with anything. Ugh....

Thank you - once again you have helped me realise that I can't always produce something perfect! I am heading toward ancient but I'm fairly new at making art - a lifetime's worth of perfectionism to overcome. Your videos and classes are joyful, truthful, helpful and truly encouraging. I know, from the little I've learnt since finding you, that you suffer from self-doubt and other self-sabotaging feelings, I sympathise and feel them too, but you have great courage in showing those feelings and working through them for us to see. BB, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

What a great video. So many great tips in there, using what's around you, assembling things you might need, loosening up with some scribbles, not being too precious about covering things up (especially if you kind of like them), giving yourself permission to not make something you love every time, learning something from each piece. I am finally finishing up something I started as a 61 day index card project. I got stuck on doing something that fit the prompt, taking too long, and here I am 30 days past the end of the challenge with 5 still left to go. I know I didn't have to finish it, but I got it into my head that I did. Now I know when I finally finish, I can start playing in all the ways I missed since June. I'll come back to this video when I get started, it will be a great jump start. So many of these lessons are things I learned in the master class too(which I would recommend to everyone), and this videos just reminds me of everything I loved about it. Thanks Brooke!

I’ve used recycled packaging often, but this was a creative use…leaning into the creases and cuts and almost making a “frankencover.” 😂 I love it. Great inspiration!
