    I’m sorry, I don’t know why everyone is being so willfully obtuse in your comment section 💀 this was really helpful after getting gelx nails for the first time. I love them because they lasted wayyyy longer than reg acrylic nails, but that also made it a pain to take off lol, so thank you so much for this. Very informative, and I appreciate that you slowed down the process so we can understand

    I’m so glad it’s still what I do! The tips I use don’t come off smoothly after 15 minutes so I’m definitely going to do 20 minutes and make sure I have all the color off my nails!

    Just getting into it and this was very helpful. Do you need to take off the Base coat the same way though once you're applying new Gel X nails?

    Why does the title say “ no drill needed* when you actually used a drill?

    • @ariiana.nicole
      @ariiana.nicole  Рік тому +74

      I showed how to remove the polish without the drill first, using a hand file. I then explained how the drill speeds up the process, however it is not needed or required.

    Ik this is an old video for you but which bit do you suggest using that comes with the drill of you don't have the 5-n-1?

    • @ariiana.nicole
      @ariiana.nicole  2 місяці тому

      The Mandrel Bit & Sanding Bands that come with the drill is what I used at first. It will remove the top layer of polish and then you can soak off in acetone. 💕

    No drill needed. *Immediate pulls out a drill*

    • @ariiana.nicole
      @ariiana.nicole  3 місяці тому +5

      As stated and shown in the video, a drill is NOT required because you can use a hand file instead. Therefore, a drill is not needed; it is just ONE of the two options shown & explained in the video.

    • @BWormy
      @BWormy 2 місяці тому

      You are stupid. She clearly showed that you could do it with a file. The drill was not needed but you could also do it that way. Maybe use your brains slightly before leaving dumb comments.

    This title was expessially wrong.

    • @ariiana.nicole
      @ariiana.nicole  3 місяці тому +2

      ✨Two options were shown:
      1. Remove the polish with a hand file (no drill needed, as stated in the title)
      OR
      2. Remove the polish with a drill ( which is OPTIONAL & not required )
      You can choose what works best for you.
      Hope this helps!

      @ariiana.nicole hey girl. These hate comments are so slow omg. Like you clearly said that you could use a file instead of a drill. Anyways do you take the builder/base gel off before you apply gel x again? Super helpful video!
