Imagine you are the driver of a Jagdpanzer, stationed in Ukraine in 1943. You and your crew haven’t seen much combat, and you are all still together, since the start of Barbarossa. The sun has gone down on a warm August night, giving way to a sky full of stars. It is pitch black around you. Leaves swinging in the wind, crickets serenading. It’s slowly getting colder, but not in your tank. Light shines through the open commanders hatch. You are greeted by cigarsmoke and laughter as your lads are playing cards. The radio is playing some melancholic piano music. Pictures of homes and familymembers fill the otherwise white outer walls of the crew compartment. A kit of tableware is tucked in an empty ammunition store; helmets hang sorted by name on a makeshift coat rack. You decline an invitation to the cardgame, and slowly fall asleep to distant artillery fire. This tank is not just a fighting machine, it is your home.
That’s actually kinda soothing to think about always i always imagined tanks filled with diesel, smoke, mud dragged in from the bottom of men’s boots, the constant fear knowing that if your tank is hit you have less than a moment to climb out the tiny hatch’s or ammo hatch, the highly explosive ammunition sitting foreboding! will that ammunition be fired at t-34s protecting your Wehrmacht brothers or will it be hit “cooking off” frying you and your comrades in a moment. The tiny skits and periscopes only giving you a tiny glimpse of the battle field maybe even blinding you to a full armoured escort directly behind you. The thought of being captured by the Soviets and being sent to a gulag or worse yet shot in a ditch in a mass grave.
I Scream like a fukin moron in the middle of the night Hearing this! I used this to get me to sleep, and its actually worked..., for a couple of minutes (half a hour or so..) *UNTILL..” When the big Artillery Bang comes (the one that sounds like 7ft away from me), I suddenly woke up, doing “Duck and cover” position but still lying in bed, screaming “OH FUCK!!”, my father came into my room , asked what the hell just happened, and i just sits there in my bed, my face looks like a soldier having a severe PTSD complete with black eye pockets and 1000 yards stare..

This one might be the best so far. Maybe.
1942: PTSD, Frightening and most possible Death
2021: _Relaxing Sounds for sleeping and studying_
When those German 150’s are going overhead you know you are in for a busy morning!
The relaxing sound of gunshots and artillery
this is one is by far my favorite

It makes me feel like n sneaky sniper observing the chaos from afar
this is actually pretty relaxing
5:13 artillery from Red Orchestra 2?
For some odd reason, this is therapy for me.
Nice preview of the imminent Civil War coming our way. I can hear that unmistakable pounding of 88's from Tigers and buzzsaw MG 42's.
You should consider writing friend much better than anything I could do
This is one of the best. I always put this on when playing Close Combat.
i like these vids because it reminds me of cod finest hour/big red one era
Puts one in mind of the value of helmets and e-tools.
Okay but this kind of stuff makes me so calmed down. I feel kinda bad because I know some people break down to sounds like this.
Is it possible to make a 1 hour banzai charge and machine gun fire sounds
That would be so fucking cool
I pranked my brother with this sound in night: wake up we must evacuate! WW3 has started!
lol and did he fall for this?
i put this loud on at night and yelled to my kids “go to the shelter”. Now they are crying 😬
Traumatizing your kids what a epic gamer moment.
Randall Marek 😜😜
helps me focusing while doing homework :)
It reminds you to keep your head down or risk being shelled/shot/gutted via bayonet/blinded by artillery/gutted via grenade/landed on(Yes, landed on.)
Is this how sabaton goes to sleep at night.
what forever?
hell yeah
Am i the only that finds this rather stressing than relaxing?
Yes
Wait why are the sounds still playing when it's paused? 😳
Eh, Chicago
I love sleeping to this I have been listening to it for a week and I love it.
Reminds me of Call of Duty 1 those background sounds. Makes you feel you are just a small part on a huge active frontline.
open 1 more tab and search call of duty - german radio.
now im an injured ss commandant in my bunker back in 1944. Thks Op and youtube.
Finally some good ASMR
I Scream like a fukin moron in the middle of the night Hearing this!
I used this to get me to sleep, and its actually worked..., for a couple of minutes (half a hour or so..)
*UNTILL..”
When the big Artillery Bang comes (the one that sounds like 7ft away from me), I suddenly woke up, doing “Duck and cover” position but still lying in bed, screaming “OH FUCK!!”, my father came into my room , asked what the hell just happened, and i just sits there in my bed, my face looks like a soldier having a severe PTSD complete with black eye pockets and 1000 yards stare..
War. It never changes. Even when the technology gets more proficient.
"I will show you where the Iron Crosses grow..."
I play this in my friend’s ear to wake them up
The sound won't stop if you live in the middle east
A panzerwerfer solvo in the distance would've sounded cool and possibly somewhat relaxing.
I love the distant RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT of the MGs
Beauty!
