Love to hear the impact of heavy shells in the far distance. This reminds me of a cold night, in the Ardenne (Battle of the Bulge), were the battle is raging. At some moments, you can even hear shells flying trough the air when fired. I recognize the sound, when i was in army, at army training in Germany. They fired life rounds.
When I visited Germany as a Tourist, back in 2012, we accidentally were staying right next to the Bundeswehrs biggest training ranges, and could hear explosions nearby first thing in the morning, when a family member of mine told the staff of the park that we can hear explosions going off nearby he got told in the best German accent '' Yes, we know this'' lol I never laughed so much.. and remember it till this day, and will say this saying, when ever somebody mentions something really obvious from this point on wards but hearing that so close does make you think about the realities of War, and what it could be like, by the sounds of it the Germans are preparing for any eventuality and are Well Prepared.
Brings back memories of arma 2. Sitting way out of the way of combat and just watching. Seeing the humvees and Bradley slowly move across a field, and the sound of distant explosives. Then the occasional helicopter or jet comes by and you watch as it flys by. Edit: auto correct.
Allow me to get creative with the sounds and the three armoured vehicles (which I recognize as Sd.Kfz 251's, aka Half Track). And I'm trying to stay historically accurate, but I'm also being creative. (starts at 0:00 ) September 22nd, 1943 (inner monologues) "The wind was blowing calmly through the tall grasses and the trees. My comrades and I, of the 10th Panzergrenadier Division, have been ordered to hold this point until called upon. We hear naught but the silence. No sound of birds or beasts but out own breathing and dimmed chatter. In the far distance we can hear the war raging on; the rattling of machine guns, the deep thumping of artillery pieces firing and the rumbling of the shells exploding. The smoke is the only other indication of where the fight is. Other than that, it is strangely peaceful. The wind is merely blowing calmly through the tall grasses and trees. And me and my comrades? I think we all quietly pray the war will be over soon."
Perfection. Also when I'm not playing War Thunder I put this on and the War Thunder soundtrack "Duty, Steel My Heart" on another tab (if you're trying this then make sure to turn down the soundtrack so it doesn't overpower the sound). Then perfection.

The relaxing sound of gunshots and artillery
That first shell scared the heck outa me
How would I be able to sleep without this?
Thanks bro, this is epic!
I would’ve preferred a couple tank cannons going off preferably a tiger ?
A panzerwerfer solvo in the distance would've sounded cool and possibly somewhat relaxing.
I love the parts when 2 groups exchange fire! You hear 4+ guns at the same time
Puts one in mind of the value of helmets and e-tools.
PTSD simulator 1943
Thanks you so much for this! I showed this video to my grandpa and he started breakdancing to it!
Finally some good ASMR
Yall saying you cant sleep without this... thats a good thing if you should ever be in war, your comrades cant sleep because of the terrifying nosies but you just sleep like a bear
i put this loud on at night and yelled to my kids “go to the shelter”. Now they are crying 😬
Traumatizing your kids what a epic gamer moment.
Randall Marek 😜😜

What you hear in the boys locker room:
Instead of asmr i listen to this
I play this in my friend’s ear to wake them up
Is this a loop from CoD 2?
Am i phsyco for being so relaxed listening to this?
open 1 more tab and search call of duty - german radio.
now im an injured ss commandant in my bunker back in 1944. Thks Op and youtube.
Reminds me of Call of Duty 1 those background sounds. Makes you feel you are just a small part on a huge active frontline.
I was in Ukraine this summer as an infantry combat advisor. When I was in mykoliav, the Russians would shell us everyday and every night (check my channel for proof) I can honestly say, the first minute of this is as real as it gets. Especially at 0:18, that actually gave me some anxiety. In a weird way, I sort of enjoy it. Makes me feel "alive"
Play Erika in background plz
Hey since it is World War 2, shouldn't it last 2 hours instead of 1?
"I will show you where the Iron Crosses grow..."
Is this how sabaton goes to sleep at night.
what forever?
hell yeah
Okay but this kind of stuff makes me so calmed down. I feel kinda bad because I know some people break down to sounds like this.
