For the case where you apply fixed end moments, where you’ve shown a rectangular moment diagram, the deflected shape is incorrect since it has positive and negative curvature whereas the moment will result in only a single constant negative curvature. Furthermore, the end conditions, shown as fixed, are incorrect as there is no way you can get a deflected shape with them present, for the applied end moments, since those moments will go into the supports, not into the beam.
Superb...u spoke how that formula came . Thanks a lot sir.every one is dictating the formula but not explaining but u didn't do that.plz continue ur videos like this
Cos when member is loaded joints are required to rotates.. if joint is fixed it does not allow any rotation by developing resisting moment.. this is how it is developed
I don't understand. If there is no sagging or hoggging, there will be no deflection. In this beam there will be definitely be a deflection, so I do not see why you equate the two areas
Already you know it... trapezium can be converted into two figure.. rectangular and triangular.. rectangular means udl and triangular means uvl.. you need to add udl and uvl
Sir, I am looking for trapezoidal load distribution from a 2 way slab, not the typical trapezium one you're saying. So I'm not getting formulae. Please help me with your idea.
Left support has anti clockwise moment and right support has clockwise moment.... Why you consider both moments negative... Not LHS moment negative and RHS moment positive...

Now I can become fully fledged engineer
So, what would be the FEM equations if you had two unequal concentrated loads and are spaced equally apart?
It could be done by taking each load separately for calculation of Fem and then adding both
Sir what's this method of equating the 2 areas for calculating moment is called?
Actually I used the concept of Equilibrium... Load equals to response..
sir one basic ques...how these fixed end moments are developed??
Cos when member is loaded joints are required to rotates.. if joint is fixed it does not allow any rotation by developing resisting moment.. this is how it is developed
Worth watching.. great ahead.. expecting more to watch...
Thanks
Brother your videos are really very helpful and very easy to understand..... Plz continue....
Sir What if the force was parellal to the member ? What is the formula of fixed end moment
No fixed end moment is developed for parallel forces..
In this method we are unable to solve
1. Uvl triangular load
2. Max at center triangular load
Pls assist
please menage videos in playlist which wil be helpful to find videos
Can you do a detailed example of kanis method?
Yes.. may be in someday

Sir please drive one more case for eccentric point load
How to calculate the FEM in case of temperature variation or settlement?!
We can do it by knowing the magnitude of settlement.
I don't understand. If there is no sagging or hoggging, there will be no deflection. In this beam there will be definitely be a deflection, so I do not see why you equate the two areas
Sagging and hogging is there..
More or less it is equal..
Sagging will be more at midspan and hogging will be more at end of beam or at rigid joints..
@@CivilEnggLectures but sir sagging and hogging are not exactly equal then why u equate both areas?
you are great ... very nice video ... keep it up and make other video ...
How i contact you plz help i have some questions problem

Thanks bro, it cleared all my doubts
Nice explanation
sir, is there any standard formulae for fixed end moments of a beam with trapezoidal loading?
Arun dinesh yeah
Please give me the link or formulae description..
+Firoz Nadaf what you are asking is not trapezium loading...
Its a load distribution on beam in case of two way slab.. which is nothing but udl
Nice explanation 👍
Thanks
sir how we calculate fixed end moment when both udl and point load acting on same beam
Febin Lalu calculate fixed end moment separetly for loadings and add it...
Principle of superposition
I want solution for the trapezoidal load condition.can you please help me with the proof of the formula (-wl^2)/30?
you can do it by using force or displacment Method.. Try it.. if not let me know.. but first try by yourself
@@CivilEnggLectures pls explain... unable to do
What's the condition of load
@@msrinivasakannan what's the condition of load?
1. Uvl triangular - max load at any edge..
2. Uvl triangular - max load at center
3. Uvl trapezoidal laod
All cases for fixed beams
Thank you
Very nice 👌 sir
Thq
so useful sir
Very well explained. Where are you from btw?
Mumbai
Firoz Nadaf oh, I live in Mumbai too! Mira Road
I live in Navi Mumbai.
Gud explaination
But Mfab and Mfba are in opposite direction why the sign is not changing
Both with create hogging effect..
@@CivilEnggLectures thank you...
PLEASE MAKE VIDEO ON MDM FAME
Nice video very informative
Sir plse resolve eccentric loading of fixed beam by area moment method..
great work sir ......doing a great job 😊
Thank you!
Excellent sir
Thanks dude! u explained really well!
Partial UDL ke liye bhi batao
Very well explained

super sir
Thanks man
How come wl/8
ive literally been searching for this everywhere, no explanation for this
From the derivation bro
Same
Left support has anti clockwise moment and right support has clockwise moment....
Why you consider both moments negative...
Not LHS moment negative and RHS moment positive...
Positive and negative sign does not merely depends on signs but on sagging and hogging..
Sagging positive and hogging negative..
not a good vedio i cant understand for which i open it
