I have been using my Pebble Time for two years and love it. My battery life is three + days and with Rebble, my firmware and store access is updated and stable. I love Pebble. ...and I hate touch screens on a wrist watch.
I ended buying a pebble time after watching this and have been using it on the new rebble servers and it’s fantastic! Nice vid :)
I have been using a Pebble Time since january 2016, now it's failing to charge and the store stopped working. I am looking to buy a Time Steel as there aren't any good smartwatches like the Pebble, can you tell me what are the rebble servers? i still want to use a Pebble and won't change any time soon, just loved it and still will do, I considered the Amazfit Stratos, Pace and Bip but they just don't feel the same as the Pebble.

I own the new cellular apple watch and still end up using my pebble everyday. The battery life of this smartwatch is just hard to beat.
Mrs Foodfairy me too - I put my pebbles in a box , bought the Apple Watch , but just got them out again - I don’t know what it is but the Apple Watch feels like a product - the pebble feels like it’s yours ..
The glass is corning gorilla glass and the bezel is not aluminum, it's marine grade stainless steel. It has a 3-5 atm water resistance rating.

My pebble time died recently so just bought a pebble time steel for £50 from cex (UK) - would never go to alternative smart watch whilst pebbles are still in circulation. Absolutely love these watches.
Can you still use it now, I'm thinking of buying one but I'm concerned it won't be usable

Also, still getting approx 3-4 weeks of battery life with very light use

Lots of people pronounce it that way the guy in the video does in the UK. Guess it's similar to Tag Heuer where different regions pronounce it differently based on what they hear others in their community say even if it's wrong. Same with gif.
I miss those 4 hardware buttons and notification animations on my amazfit pace.
BUT it was good upgrade
My Pace stopped working in almost a year. Now I'm looking to buy a Pebble Time Steel and run the Rebble OS

I actually like this better than my Active 2, it's bizarre. It's unfortunate the servers went down / no voice texts, etc. otherwise I never would have stopped using it.

@@hamdanabdullah2633 the charging pins were wearing out because of the usage. And It was really difficult to find the perfect spot to leave the charging cable for it to charge. It took 15 minutes to try and make it charge so I bought a new Time Steel and done.

Last year my girlfriend got mad at me and destroyed all my stuff.. she took my pebble time ripped the straps off and tossed it in a cup of water....
She left and I put it back together and it still worked 😝

i agree it was beautiful and had more character but it wasn’t very intuitive.

Came from the Amazfit Bip (which btw has a custom firmware, BipOS, with games and stuff) and bought a Steel. It's surprisingly great to use. Cheers to the makers of such a device.

My pebble time watch which i haven't been using in a while , after so many years still work, but I'm not able to set the timing or even find the app anymore on playstore. Any idea if there is any solution to this problem ? If it still works or not ?

So I was just reading about the pebble on Google.. and they said allot of the apps for the watch are no longer active... Like the pebble "playstore".. I wanna buy one but I don't want it to stop working cause upgrades or something... My question is do you know of that's true... Cause I really am enjoying the concept of this watch

I can whole heartedly recommend the Pebble smartwatch as an excellent daily use watch with accessories available like new bands and such. The watch is solid enough to endure construction work. I've banged my watch on brick walls and ground the watch face on concrete and it didn't break and is still very usable. With no touchscreen, the Pebble is life-proof.
I'm very upset that Fitbit aren't continuing development of the Pebble smart watch, I have an original Pebble watch which I've had for nearly 4 years. I just bought an iPhone XR a few days ago and I made the decision to retire the Pebble watch and not use it anymore, mainly because the screen is failing and barely works now. I don't feel comfortable buying a new Pebble watch because I'm concerned about what's going to happen if Apple makes a major change to iOS that prevents the Pebble watch from working with my iPhone. For this reason I probably won't buy another Pebble watch. I don't understand why Fitbit don't revive the Pebble brand and just sell the watches under the Fitbit brand. Very sad.

The only disadvantage is that ever since the servers got shut down the voice reply stopped working 😭
It can work, but you need to pay a monthly/yearly fee of 3$/mo to the Rebble maintainers, who run the app store for free and weather/voice dictation as a paid premium.
Until now i dont know how to activate my pebble i dont know what apps i download to activate my pebble time to my iphone.

I bought a new phone last summer and with it, I have problems to pairing with my pebble. Every few minutes I have to check they are conected because, in the screen they are but notifications are not sended. :(
Check that your Bluetooth LE is enabled. The Pebble sends notifications by the Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) protocol.

I am going to get one and I found a fix to get the Pebble app working again. On your phone, go to APKMirror and find the Pebble App one. Download it and then go to the play store and download a app called Pebble - Rebble. That app should kind of explain what to do but if it doesn't make sense, click the button and make a Rebble account and then go to the Pebble app and wait for it to load, then you should be taken the the connection page and then probably the set-up. I haven't gotten my watch yet so Idk.

I had one, it could not charge, they send me another one - and it failed after short time as well.
