WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A NURSE IN PLASTIC SURGERY PT.1 | TEARRA MARCEE

- Опубліковано 12 чер 2023
- Hey honeybuns ♡ here’s a look into my week as a pacu nurse working in plastic surgery. This vlog is cut into 2 parts…it just made sense to split this video. If I didn’t cut it, I would’ve delayed this even longer :( I took y’all on a full day at work with me. After work I tried a cool little burger place called Burger Bodega in Houston. You also get to see me share a bit about what led me to plastics and why I decided to leave bedside nursing. Thanks for watching, I’ll catch you in part 2 of this video!

That charting is a DREAM!!! Manifesting this type of job for my future❤
This field seem lit. I love the quick turnover of the patients. I worked in an outpatient setting and love the in and out. I recently transitioned into homecare visits and really like the flexibility. Thanks for a glimpse into your journey and the video to help those interested to break into the field. Tre did a great job. Lol
Thank you my love!! So happy you enjoyed watching 💗💗 that makes me so happy… I love telling other nurses there are so many areas to nursing not just the hospital so stick it out and find what you love to do.
This is such a good video and so descriptive. More views needed! Thoroughly enjoyed it ❤

@@tearramarceeof course sis! Again, super proud of you ❤
I’m starting nursing school in august. I’ve always wanted to work in this dept, is it possible to do as a new grad nurse?
Very possible! You have to make yourself stand out in your resume. I got into plastic surgery 8 months after entering nursing, so technically still a new grad. I correlated my experience as a new grad to the job position in plastic surgery. Be prepared for your interview and follow the tips in my “How to become a plastic surgery nurse” video! I’d love to keep hearing about your journey as a nurse 💕
I love this thank you much! do you think it's possible to land a job like this without hospital experience? I have one year experience in LTC and one year in home health, aesthetics and plastic surgery is my dream!
Yes! It’s very possible, you have to show employers that you’re passionate by investing into the career before you even get interviewed for the job
first of all. he killed that voice over 😂.
It’s the fact he was excited to do it! 😂 thank you good watching and your support 💗
I am starting my nursing degree online and following year I want to be a aesthetic nurse I am also a advanced esthetician and I’m 31 changing over careers and I’m excited. Who was the UA-camr you watched?
So exciting! Congratulations to you 💗 I’ve watched random UA-camrs who were in the field that I wanted to be in, I’d search “aesthetic nurse” or “med spa nurse”
Hi, how many days a week do you work?
Hey love! There is no set requirement for me, but typically 3 or 4 days a week
Interesting specialty
You’re so pretty
Thank you 😊
Is it a big pay cut vs working at a hospital?
Great question! No, I make more at the plastic surgery center than I did at the hospital
What experience did you have before going into PACU nursing?? also please please please make the resume video !!! (:
I had experience as a plastic surgery nurse and before that I worked as a float pool nurse in a hospital 🫶🏾
So as a PRN nurse at your job, do you have medical insurance?
Hey love, PRN jobs do not give any benefits including medical coverage, 401k, pto. You’ll have to find insurance benefits on your own. Hope that helps! 😊
@@tearramarcee thank you 🤗🤗🤗
Hey is this job only for RN?
At the surgery center that I work at yes because they use general anesthesia.
Hey! Do they usually have LPN’s?
Great question! The first plastic surgery office I worked at, they did hire LPNs. However for patients who undergo general anasthesia, like my current job, they typically only hire RNs. I hope that helps!
