The poor state of American healthcare system could be the biggest message in Breaking Bad. Jesse selling meth to recovering Addicts is the worst thing he ever did. So exciting when you release another video.
I live in Canada where we have free health care, and I've always thought that if breaking bad took place in Canada maybe Walter wouldn't need to make meth since he wouldn't have any medical bills...
@@Roshi_710 as a fellow canadian im pretty sure walts cancer would run its course before he could even see a doctor to get diagnosed if breaking bad took place here lol
This is such an amazing way to remember the series, and somehow it never feels like a full week has passed by Another amazing video, and I love seeing this whole channel grow C: The fact that you have another member to fill a bucket of meth is outstanding :D

The reason Gus is so adamant about his chicken being good quality is that he always has to skimp on sauce, because half of every sauce bucket is filled up with meth.
1:30 The highlighted letters in the opening credits are taken from chemical symbols on the periodic table, but the "Ch" highlighted in Michael Slovis's name is not a chemical symbol. Later episodes corrected this by only highlighting the "C" (for carbon).
So i've been wondering for quite a while what Gus' actual plan was after the 3 month period has expired. He had a lot of respect for Walter and even invited him over to dinner. So after Walt taught Gale everything, Gus might have just let Walt go back to his everyday life but also, in a way, made sure that Walt would never talk. Since Gus always knew that Walt has a brother in the DEA Gus would probably hire an extra team surveying just Walt 24/7 for several months after operation... that of course if Walt had not been the way he was in the series but actually a "normal" person. Then again i simply can't imagine the careful and calculated Gus just letting Walt go eventhough he had a DEA brother and knows about the lab and all. It's just so weird to me. And i have a 50/50 opinion that he would just keep surveying Walt occasionally remind him of who he worked for and what's at stake OR Gus would just get rid of him. I'd like to imagine that Gus would have made it look similar to Werner's death, maybe stage some sort of car accident or an actual hitman killing Walt when no one is watching. In the end the initial plan was only three months and it's over. It got extended to open end but i seriously wonder what Gus' plan was in the beginning.
Yeah, I think he would have had him killed because he likes to eliminate loose ends. (“What careful man wouldn’t?” 😆) After all, originally he was going to let the cousins do that once he was no longer needed!
Thanks so much, Nick! As more people discover the channel, the older videos (at least in the Hidden Details playlist) are getting a lot more views, so maybe it will get there one day. 🤷♂️
Jesse did a lot of things that triggered problems (like giving the gas station employee a sample to pay for gas, leading Hank to find the RV)! Although if Walt kept working with Gale, Gus likely would have eventually been done with him and murdered him. 🤷♂

As i got it contract said 200 pounds per week. Aka they work for 200 Pounds but they did more. Like you have a contract for 40 hours but you do 41. Yes, the materials were Gus´es but they did the labour. Like you working with the machines of your boss for 40h and doing one more without pay. So like if they did extra shifts and 600 Pounds in a week they would not get more money, they could just take 2 weeks off i assume. That is how i think Jesse saw it.
Yeah, I assume Gus is paying for all the raw materials (in addition to the facilities, vast network of employees, etc., etc.). So they're not really giving him "free" product!
not exactly sure if its a “detail” but when walt is on the road (at 5:30) it shows many scenes where he swerves over to the wrong side of the road, im sure that was meant to be literal and metaphorical lol
