Breaking Bad is a drama television series created & produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set & filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high-school chemistry teacher who is struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer. White turns to a life of crime & partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld.
Among the stars are Anna Gunn & RJ Mitte as Skyler & Walter Jr., & Betsy Brandt & Dean Norris as Marie Schrader & husband Hank, a DEA agent. Others include Bob Odenkirk as Walter's & Jesse's lawyer Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks as private investigator & fixer Mike Ehrmantraut, & Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring. The final season introduces Jesse Plemons as the criminally ambitious Todd Alquist, & Laura Fraser as Lydia Rodarte-Quayle.
The show received numerous awards, including 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, eight Satellite Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards, & four Television Critics Association Awards. Cranston won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series four times, while Aaron Paul won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series three times; Anna Gunn won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series twice. In 2013, Breaking Bad entered the Guinness World Records as the most critically acclaimed TV show of all time.
The series gave rise to Better Call Saul, a prequel featuring Odenkirk, Banks, & Esposito reprising their Breaking Bad roles. A sequel film, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, starring Paul was released on Netflix & in theaters.
Also features Raymond Cruz as Tuco Salamanca, Mark Margolis as Hector Salamanca, Lavell Crawford as Huell Babineaux, & Steven Michael Quezada as Steven Gomez.

My favorite chemistry joke in the whole show is when Walt is giving Jesse the shopping list over the phone and you can hear Jesse say "Mantle? As in Mickey?"

I think this episode captures the feeling of Walt's helplessness in a really unique way, he doesn't act and it hurts him, he acts and it hurts him, an old favorite too, Season 2 is somehow a comfort despite how bleak it gets

You know this episode is good when better call Saul and El Camino must’ve at least one reference to this episode. In El Camino, we obviously got a flashback of a scene right after “4 days out” and in BCS “Breaking Bad” the episode, Walt clearly warn Jesse to never leave the keys in the ignition for too long😂

Love this episode and you did it justice. I’ve pretty much given up trying to count any details I know anymore because I seem to know nothing haha. Your editing is fantastic and seems to get better.
So my question is.. two weeks ago in Negro S2E7 episode you said you found the weirdest acted scene was in this episode when Walt receives his good news with his family. I think you mentioned Walt Jr especially. Personally I don’t notice anything in this video but I haven’t rewatched the scene so I’m curious if you still stand by that in making this video.

Ah, I had actually edited the awkwardness out of my video! 😆 In the full episode, yeah, I feel like there are moments while they’re listening to the doctor and both Hank and Walt Jr. seem unnatural to me. One specific moment I remember is Hank making a face right after Walt says he was coughing up blood.
