Ah, interesting! I haven’t looked much at that, but I am working on my own rankings that I plan to release after finishing all these episode videos! This is definitely high on the list!
1:47 classic, it's not a bug, it's a feature! I forgot how quickly the one minute incident happened after Jesse's beating. On first watch I didn't find it as intense as I could've because I was spoiled on when Hank would actually die. Jesse Pinkmans speech hits hard, especially considering how many worse things happen to him after this, he hasn't seen anything yet. On a lighter note, 8:00 actually got me. I knew about the 308 connection, but didn't realize the episode number. I still wonder if there's a meaning behind that, or if it's a neat pattern for the sake of it.
I thought you might like 8:00! 😂 I couldn't stop chuckling when I did that. My understanding is that they purposely chose 307 because of the episode number, so the 308 thing just happened because of that. It's too bad they didn't think to change or just remove that shot of the time on Jesse's phone!
I do believe the 308 has meaning. 308 was the first address 'Walt's home' that the Cousins were sent off to, to eliminate Walter. That number's become kind of a like a target zone for them. But since Gus had redirected the Cousins to a different target (Hank), as Walt is the goddamn cook and money source of his opperation, the number/address of the target zone became Hank.
Love the video. Good watch, but I do want you to know that your bullet count part was not accurate. I don't know any semi auto pistols that have an 8 shot max
Thanks, Blok Vader!! Sometimes I feel it, but it’s a lot of fun getting to the end result. This one had a lot of continuous shots with long speeches containing tons of 3-4 second pauses, which made the editing harder than normal! 😅
Regarding the twins’ guns, Mexicans typically favor .38Super. In terms of realism, it’s unlikely they would have used .45ACP, so the sample round would not have chambered, although they would have used chromed 1911s.

Here’s the thing. Without Walt, Jesse was going to end up in jail or dead. His own actions would have caused him to lose everything and they did. And let’s not forget, he’s a drug dealer. Responsible for selling and profiting off of death, pain, and misery. Again, with or without Walt. It is baffling how anyone can actually feel sorry for him. The only truly innocent characters in the show are Walt Jr. and Holly.
Hmm, I have a hard time interpreting the tone of comments sometimes! The notion of all Breaking Bad fans being unable to handle this much stimulation is a funny concept to me. So I thought you were joking. (I'm still not sure, actually, like if "hope and pray" is meant to be a Jimmy McGill reference.) Sorry if I'm wrong!
I don’t get why Gus would allow Walt this indulgence. He doesn’t like or trust Jesse at this point and the whole reason he rolled the dice on Walt to begin with is because it’s temporary even under the absolute perfect circumstances. He knows Walt is dying no matter what. I had assumed that hiring him was simply to placate Gale and allow Gale to shadow a master to both learn the formula himself and bolster his confidence and once Walt is gone to take over by himself. He will have squashed the competition and made the competitions superior product his own while upgrading his own chemist in the process. Why the hell would he allow Walt to fire Gale and bring in Jesse of all people? What’s the end game for him with this move? Assuming everything went smoothly with no disruptions what happens when Walt is gone? Kill Jesse and start at square 1 with Gale again? Seems crazy.
7:23 this is Walt being 100% honest. We even see it later in the series when Jessie consistently gets 96% and even higher sometimes. This is Walt dropping his ego for once. Knowing it will also manipulate Jesse but he was being honest and lowering his ego.
I never thought about it, but Gail would NEVER arrive to a laboratory full of caustic chemicals in sandals. Totally inappropriate, even if he changes into a full PPE suit. Who knows what spills or accidents might happen... Hmm.
In fact, i know it's late but... 75 of Gale it was bad actually, in the final episode, when walter see that machine where Jesse works, it can see 85 and Walt was happy, so yea, Gale was wrong
at 9:28 you can see the rear end of what looks to be Jesse's red Monte Carlo the lowrider Tuco was killed next to. at the very least it's a similar car with a similar color
This was the first of your videos that UA-cam suggested to me. It was completely random that I clicked it, and now I've binged all of your Breaking Bad episodes up to this one. Can't wait to keep on going. I've said it earlier, but I'll say it again: Thank you for the great work!
In seriousness though this episode I think has both my favorite and least favorite Jesse scenes, both in his hospital bed. The first speech he gives is definitely my least favorite, as incredible as an actor Aaron Paul is, he can't really pull off a deep grainy voice without seeming a little goofy, and the weird voice makes his lines that seem like he's trying WAY too hard to seem cool even worse, especially with his smug face. On the other hand, the speech he gives when Walter offers him the job is definitely my favorite scene of Jesse, unlike his first scene, his words hold real weight and emotion, his words are spilling out of him instead of being read off annoyingly slowly. The speech really feels like Jesse being who he is instead of who he thinks he should be, it's genuine and it's acted incredibly well. I also really like the face Saul makes at 1:38
I agree with you 💯 about Jesse's first speech! It does seem too forced. I have to think about what my favorite Jesse scene would be. I also like Saul's face at 2:49!

Good point. You'd think he'd at least try to delay and have Gale quickly learn, similar to what he attempted later.
10:41 Blue truck is incorrectly parked in Hank's original parking spot. That spot should be empty when you see the overhead shot.
👍 Good eye!
7:23 this is Walt being 100% honest. We even see it later in the series when Jessie consistently gets 96% and even higher sometimes. This is Walt dropping his ego for once. Knowing it will also manipulate Jesse but he was being honest and lowering his ego.
That checks out. Thanks!
I never thought about it, but Gail would NEVER arrive to a laboratory full of caustic chemicals in sandals.
Totally inappropriate, even if he changes into a full PPE suit. Who knows what spills or accidents might happen...
Hmm.
Great point! 😆 Although did we see his feet while wearing PPE? Maybe he changed into different shoes?
Same with shorts. Long pants and closed shoes are a must in labs.
There is no honor among thieves!
Except for us...
Breaking Bad is an excellent comedy.
It is!
In fact, i know it's late but... 75 of Gale it was bad actually, in the final episode, when walter see that machine where Jesse works, it can see 85 and Walt was happy, so yea, Gale was wrong
top quality content bromigo
Thanks, Lars!!
Is the lobby at 3:14 the same lobby as Ted’s business when Walt shows up throwing the plant?
No, but it has a very similar look!
at 9:28 you can see the rear end of what looks to be Jesse's red Monte Carlo the lowrider Tuco was killed next to. at the very least it's a similar car with a similar color
Oh, interesting! Thanks!
This was the first of your videos that UA-cam suggested to me. It was completely random that I clicked it, and now I've binged all of your Breaking Bad episodes up to this one. Can't wait to keep on going. I've said it earlier, but I'll say it again: Thank you for the great work!
I’m so glad you did!!
The leaves and bark are not fake, it’s called a gradient filter that is placed in front of a lens, I darkens the area and adds a hue.
Oh! Thank you!
the elevator edit made me laugh alot 😂
😇 Thanks!
ok
@@betterwatchtv thanks
I just love your Video Quality. Deserves 1mio subs.
Thank you, Sven! I hope UA-cam agrees!
Brba “one minute”: Marco dropped a bullet
BCS “bagman: Marco dropped a bundle of money
True. :)
I think that in 10:39 the axe is fake
They said it was a prop axe, but supposedly it’s the same one the whole time. That’s at least how I’ve interpreted various comments from the creators.
Love the casual editing flex here and there.
Haha, thanks!! 💪 You might find this upcoming weekend’s video to be less casual!
