In today's video, I share how I prep, plan, and pack for TRAVELING WITH TODDLERS and Flying SOLO with kids. I also unbox my new double travel stroller that I am obsessed with. Traveling with kids is a little intimidating but I feel like I've prepared as much as I can. If you're new here, my name is Sarah and I am a mom of 2 toddlers, who were 2 under 2 just a few short months ago. Their age gap is 17 months apart! I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with baby number 3! I am a stay at home mom/part time working mom and military wife. Vacation with kids is just parenting in a different location! Props to you for doing it with two toddlers whilst pregnant! I have a 2.5-year-old and a 7-month-old, it does not stop us from traveling!
When you travel do you bring your car seats with you or rent some from the cart rental place?

We usually get to the airport 2 hours early. If it's not busy then we'll chill at the USO.
I forgot to mention we also had an 1hr 20 drive to the airport😅 sooo why I didn’t like being there so early bc it just extended our travel time even more 😩 but I do recommend a lounge through your credit card (some have kids rooms) or the USO!

I traveled once with my 1 year old and 6 months pregnant by myself. That was rough so I can’t imagine 2 toddlers and pregnant. Good job!!!!
I am traveling again now with a 3 year old and 18 month old next month but this time my husband is coming with so it won’t be that bad. I totally get the feeling like a badas* afterwards
Kudos to you, you are brave. I couldn’t even imagine taking 2 little ones on a plane alone. Now you need a vacay lol glad it went all well for you except the landing.
Oh I remember traveling with my baby and man it was rough but people were very helpful. It mainly was rough bc of all the things I had to carry. Lol

A backpack over a shoulder bag makes a huge difference + having the stroller to put things in! Reagan didn’t ride in the stroller really so the other seat held my bags😂 & thank you!! 🤍
@@SarahOwenVlogs yeah thinking about that I had to carry a infant car seat plus carry on and purse and diaper bag. I didnt think about the stroller lol.

Any tips for driving 11 hrs with a 2 year old and a 1 month old 🫣😭? Going to San Diego end of June to watch my husband graduate Marine Corps Bootcamp and I give birth next week to our second child 😅

Shoot, I had my husband with me when we flew! We had about 5 minutes before we were taking off and my little one pooped! I looked at the flight attendant and asked if I could change her. I was back in my seat within like 2-3 minutes! That same flight while we landed, she wanted nothing to do with nursing or her paci, so her ears really bothered her.
I'm going to be flying again next month with her, and I got headphones for flying for her, so I'm hoping it will help this time since I'm flying alone!

Please research the weighted swaddle further especially before using it with an infant. they pose a huge sids risk, the aap has even made statements and guidelines against them now. I totally understand why they’re so popular they seem so comforting for a sleeping baby, I bought one for my baby and ended up not using and returning it when I realized how risky they are. I think all moms would agree we’d rather wake up a million times a night forever then have them never wake up again.
Oh no! This didn’t even cross my mind! I’ll probably just use the sleep sack for Tripp & play it safe on the swaddle! Thank you🤍

The car seat luggage strap was a 10/10 lifesaver & the stroller! & a backpack!
First flight with a baby on the 19th of May! She will be two months, and the only thing I know is to have her suck on the pacifier.
Aww sweet little baby!! & yeah I feel like at that age there isn’t much to do lol
