Hi!!! I’m so thankful I came across your channel.. I have twin toddlers (2yr) and I’m taking my first flight with them next week, and alone. I don’t have the suitcases like you have so I wanted to know what you thought about the double stroller? What should I expect with it and does the airport have car seat bags available if I check them
Aw so exciting! I hope I didn’t catch you too late on this response (sorry if I’m too late!) but if you haven’t gone yet I’d say go for it with the double stroller if you have one that folds up small. Likely you’ll have to gate check it and they will likely not have a bag for it so I recommend bringing a bag if you want to have it in a bag. We checked car seats before and it worked out just fine I was so thankful they were still in perfect condition. I hope all goes smoothly on your trip!! Let me know how it goes! Aw thank you!! Regarding the car seats - it’s because we didn’t have our own car and car seats going with us to the airport, so one of my friends dropped us off and she was kind enough to let us use her 2 kids’ car seats to get to the airport. Usually my twins both face backwards 💕

Hello. Do we have to take out the seat from the handbag to go thru from security or when we keep it on overhead bin of the plane as we will have to close the handle for that
Hi! Yes I remove the seat material and store it in the bag when going through security as well as when we are on the airplane. Anytime it’s not in use it acts as a normal carry on bag. ☺️
Hi, so encouraging to see this, you go mama! I dont have twins but 18m and 3.5 year old that ill be traveling longhaul alone with. Ive purchased seats and was hoping to bring car seats on the plane but after thinking it through, how on earth do you have two children, a stroller, 2 car seats and carryon?! Any experience here? Am i missing something? :) haha its seems impossible. Or is this the reason that you checked your carseats? Weve traveled longhaul before with the two (never alone for a real long flight) so im comfortable managing everything else, but i just cant figure the puzzel out. haha Hoping you have the magic idea! Hi! Thanks so much! It’s definitely a lot a to coordinate but what I would recommend is check the items you don’t want on the plane. If you want to bring two car seats on the airplane then I recommend watching some of my other videos where I showcase how I roll my kids to the gate in their carseats - like this video: ua-cam.com/video/4eJqKTIWwPA/v-deo.html
However if you don’t need/want the car seats in flight then you can check them and then have the kids in the stroller and gate check OR you could check all three and have them ride on your carry-ons as I showed in this video. I hope this helps! It’s definitely a lot to think about but you’ve got this! You could also just have the 18 month in a carrier and then have your 3.5 yr old walk next to you through the airport (now days my twins are 3 and I have them walk with me instead). I hope these ideas help and have a great trip! 🙌

This is the thing. After i got to baggage claim I wouldn't have anyone to meet us so there is no way to get luggage and the stroller and two kids and two car seats to a rental car. I'm not really wild about the idea of renting car seat, heard too many horror stories broken ones, unavailable ones, wrong size, dirty...if only there was assistance forget all of that junk from baggage claim to a rental car that's now usually a shuttle ride away. The car seat straps for the roller bags would be an idea, but then I wouldn't have their stroller when we were on vacation 🙈 there is like no way to do it actually alone until the twins can pull their own bag/carseat combo or don't need a stroller.
Hey! I just responded to your other comment and am now seeing this one - glad you found this video! With that said yes I agree, I wish there was a service to help more but I do think people that worked in security were all friendly and willing to help. Same with boarding the plane and even on the plane, people were all so nice. Regarding the stroller - have you thought about flying with a double umbrella stroller and bring the kids to the gate in it and doing a gate check? Just one idea!

Hi! You should be able to fly with twins alone (I have done it many times) but you would probably just need to book an adult seat for one of them and that’s probably what they mean. They cannot both be lap infants. Additionally the one that’s in their own seat will need an FAA approved car seat to ride in because you can’t technically hold both on your lap when it comes to safety. I hope this helps! One idea for transporting car seats through the airport is by using this product - I’ve used it a bunch and it made my life so much easier when flying with my twins and their car seats. - amzn.to/33wsBHA -
