Today Jo Ann pulled of that rare feat: scoring two head-to-head matches in a single episode (her 3rd and 4th)!! So now the "leader board" finally expands to 6 celebs! (I arbitrarily decided to wait until a celeb had 3 matches before including them, because more data gives more meaning to the accuracy scores.) Here's the update on all *6* celebs to have scored 3 or more matches so far, along with their current accuracy %: Betty - 46.7% (7 wins in 15 attempts). Charles - 46.2% (6 wins in 13 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 40% (4 wins in 10 attempts). Bert - 30.8% (4 wins in 13 attempts). Brett - 28.6% (4 wins in 14 attempts). Richard - 26.7% (12 wins in 45 attempts). Trivia: Charles also scored 2 head-to-head matches in episode 111. *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 148, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.
I'm so sorry you lost your furbaby. I lost my Tashi almost 14 years ago and it still hurts sometimes. It gets better though. blessings on your healing.
@ZoneFighter1 Right, because the "Right" is the paragon of family values, honesty, and virtue. I would rather guide with my heart and compassion (backed by science) than to rule by speculation, hate, and otherwise divisive tactics....
ROFL! Another fine episode! :0) ROFL! Love ya Gene! :0) ROFL! Love ya Larry! ;0) Love Gene celebrations and silliness.. ;0) Would she hired out as a flashlight.. ;0) Larry seems more comfortable this time around than the first time he was on the show.. ;0) ROFL! Love ya sound person.. ;0)
5:20 - "My clitoris glows in the dark" is what popped into my mind instantly. Like one of those runway red/blue lights to guide the pilots for landing, LOL.
Gene is jealous of anyone near that gal. He prevents any huggin or pecking as fast as he can with her and then he marks his territory. I am saying that is basic behavior of the man animal at it's best.
8:00 - "Cause he looked just like Richard Nixon" LOL...Since this was from '74 & he resigned in 74'...Nixon caught sneaking back in. LOL. Edit: WOW. No joke, I typed that as a smartass answer before I even got to Paul's answer.
Amazing TV History! It's just like you're there!
Another great Match Game show. The video quality is AMAZING! It might as well be LIVE!
I like the fact the celebs and Gene had fun on these shows.
Johnny Olsen almost cracking up during the opening was funny, LOL. Nice coffee joke from Richard there too.
First time I hear Johnny Olsen giggle while introducing. Rip Taylor is really funny..

Richard Dawson always writes John Dean when it came to the Nixon questions in later years.
6:03 I love it when Bret and the sfx judge goes at it.😂😂😂
I wonder if Paul Fisher is still around? I would think so. He looks like he might be 30 here, so that would put him around 78 or so in 2022.
Since Gene was 6'1", Paul must have been really tall!
Paul was called Rock by Joanne Fluge
Paul: "Thanks for all the swell money Uncle Gene"
Gene: "Maybe now you can afford to move out of my Sister's house"
Panamá - canal Probably the easiest head to head question match ever made, the producers wanted to give some money real bad this time.
I was hoping to see Rip throw his confetti after the $5,000 match
Joann was quite a babe back in the day.
But on the previous show she talked about planning to breed kangaroos to race them. That sounds awful.
RIP died last year , my sweet fur baby of 15 years died yesterday I'm so heartbroken .
I'm so sorry you lost your furbaby. I lost my Tashi almost 14 years ago and it still hurts sometimes. It gets better though. blessings on your healing.
Sending love and positive thoughts 💛

Has anyone else thought what a stupid answer the bed was sucked out the window?
RIP is a strange guy never heard of him until right now!Elizabeth 😇
Square peg?
On this date in 1999, The Drew Carey Show Tv Series episode Drug Co with Charles Nelson Reilly as Mr. Hathaway aired.
What kind of character did Reilly play?
I laughed so hard at Gene kissing Richard. Even more so, when I realised that this kiss was the loudest one :D
when Fred Flintstone parked illegibly the police dinosaur stamped it
Did Brett make a comment about Richard wearing a toupee around 1:28 or was she talking to Rip Torn?
Taylor? She should talk, she wears a wig, for heck's sake! :P
I CANT BELIEVE THE SHOW ANNOUNCED FOR THE FIRST TIME TO HEAR JOHNNY SAT STAY TUNED FOR TATTLETALES AFTER THE LAST DAY OF STAY TUNED FOR SECRET STORM
What does “with slate” mean?”
The clapboard at the beginning of the episode.
Were these shows rerun with the slates? I have never seen those before.
CarlislemusicLLC --- who really cares, its not like it's anything special or groundbreaking
Baltimore Z-Wad I guess I care.
@@baltimorez-wad7281 Well it is nice and interesting to me to see when the tape dates were for the set of week/episodes.. ;0)
I think JoAnne really enjoyed being grabbed by Paul was she divorced from Chuck Woolery by then?
I believe they divorced in 1980.
1982
She got out before Chuck became a nut ball...
@ZoneFighter1 michael SALVAGE? Is that like Sanford & Son?
@ZoneFighter1

Ha! : ) You gave me a good laugh.
Yeah. Nobody was going to say that on TV in 1974.
It takes a little effort to tell whether Brett or Rip is talking!🙄
Gene is jealous of anyone near that gal.
He prevents any huggin or pecking as fast
as he can with her and then he marks his territory.
I am saying that is basic behavior of the man animal at it's best.
You must be talking about Richard not Gene
Brett was being especially hideous on this one. Watch the documentary and see what a witch she prolly was and admits she hated Dawson. Lol
Dawson had a huge ego and thought his s*** didn't stink.
Yea, and I heard Richard didn't like ANYONE on the panel (except maybe Betty). But I guess saint Richard and his ego can do no wrong huh?
@@kristabrewer6736 wow four years ago...
the interweb lives on....
Who cares? They're all gone now.
@@kristabrewer6736 I hate to tell you this but Brett was not liked on this show
Is this the same video where I said he was putting the make on Jo Ann Pflug? Or to all guys do that on this show? LOL
Joann trying to be sneaky revealing her answer is kinda annoying.
It is I never noticed
This 6th grade teacher has her kids watching this show? Inappropriate.
I was in 3rd grade when I watched match game and I turned out just fine

Edit: WOW. No joke, I typed that as a smartass answer before I even got to Paul's answer.
I still wonder what Larry wrote initially.
Actually Nixon didn't resign until August of '74. This episode aired either late January or early February.
