They're both great sounding, in my opinion. The Epiphone is a bit smoother, though.

Personally I prefer the Epiphone but the Chibson isn't far behind. Personally I think Epiphone/Gibson make these Chibsons. Just several little details that are the same, just doesn't make since unless made in the same factory.
