I've noticed that you have FSAA and FXAA off in the graphic settings, which means you run no antialiasing mode. If you turn one of them on, for example FSAA to MSAA 8x , the game will look alot better even on high preset settings.
Looks like the car needs some more toe-in in the rear or something, to cure that erratic nervous oversteer behaviour. Looks like a mechanical issue that can be solved in the settings. Increasing the tire squeel sound could also help to get a better feel of connection to the tarmac, i.e. remove some of that floating feeling. I genuinely thought you entered your name as "Steve Alvarez Bro" because you cba, but then it turned out that it's just being cut off on the HUD 😅 That aside, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that they got rumble strip grip right. There's a load of other issues to still work out, but the driving model is on point. And those engine sounds are gloriously fearsome with headphones on.
For me I think lagging is biggest problem, in terms of physics I found it quite hard to rotate in LMP2 and GTE cars. I've heard this game is based on rF2 engines, so I think there won't be big issues with physics in future, but they do have to improve AI stuff, as they are just stupid, but I only paid something like 15 quid, not gonna complain for now, hope they can add past and future seasons content, more track and cars(G56 NASCAR as well).
Its not happen fast enough, people is losing fate at turn 10 it might be too late to turn that ship around, and seeing how the treat their own staff is really concerning

I found your thoughts on the physics pretty interesting because that’s how I feel about rFactor 2 which this game is based off of. While I feel like LMU has improved a bit, the cars still feel a bit floaty and it’s hard to tell and feel where the limit is. rF2’s meta is to run low-ish wing and an overall oversteery setup and basically drift every turn and sadly I think LMU follows suit. I do also hope they tighten up the feeling of the tyres eventually, but for some reason everyone says rF2 is “the most realistic” sim, so I don’t think it and LMU will change much anytime soon…
everyone loves to talk about how much better RF2 is to Iracing and how terrible the iracing tire model is but i have never really found rf2 to be more realistic in the slightest
@@collinclary5762 Apparently, rFactor 2 is the most complex and detailed simulator out there, it has a lot of systems and variables when it comes to the way it does physics. People love to call rF2 “the most realistic simulation” because of that, but to me it means nothing at all. Sure, it can simulate a lot of things but if it simulates them badly, or the model was fed with bad data, then it’s all for nothing. At the end of the day, all simulators are games. They all have problems and limitations so it’s a matter of picking what you like and find most pleasant to drive.
RFactor2 gets praise because its tyre structure behaves like that of rubber. It's TGM tool allows you create any tyre structure in a physical rendered model, fully deformable and fully dynamic. The vast majority of Sim racing games are all using static based tyres with torque curves and LUT's that will never be dynamic. You also have to know that sim racing will always be less communicative than a real car. Lest be real, 90% of Sim racers play these games on stationary chair with stationary wheel. That's way to less of a disadvantage to gauge realism.
@@kak8895I'm all for technology and high tech simulations, but cars are more than a deformable tyre. AC has a single raycast collision detection with pretty barebones tyre deformation, yet many agree that it is one of the, if not the, best tyre behaviors on the market. That's why I find the argument of rF2 being the most realistic sim, just because it simulates one out of the many parts of a car really well, pretty dumb. On top of that, it just seems to simulate the deformation part of the tyre really well. You can tell that the rest of the tyre isn't simulated too well because of how the cars need to be setup and driven in that game. As for the stationary sim rig thing, and how most sim racers won't truly experience the realism of being in a car, it's true but there is still tons and tons of real life data and reference material that games can use and try to replicate. Slip angle curves, suspension movement, driver inputs, car setups, and the list goes on forever. There's more to physics than what you can feel. If cars behave the wrong way it's not FFB, or a motion rig, that is going to make the game more realistic, like how AMS2 players love to say that FFB "fixes" the game. You can have really bad physics and really good FFB, and vice versa. To wrap up this long reply, simulation games love to talk about how complex or how in-depth their systems are and many of us see that as a game being more realistic. At the end of the day, they're all games developed by people, they're going to have flaws and inaccuracies.
@@nismo97 The race drivers who've played RFactor2 complement it as the closest to the real thing. Who do we believe? Them or a group of sim racing fanboys that have not touched anything short of a race kart not to talk of GT3. Infact, RFactorPRO (although more advanced than RFactor2) is used by race teams on their multiple PC hyper expensive Rigs compared to any racing game in the market. Truth is FFB in most games (Like AC/ACC) are way to exaggerated to what you'd get in real life. If they mitigated forces to what most race cars behave (power steering/ no power steering), most sim racers will hate the game. But good points though.
I don't get why people are crying. Y'all really sound funny to me.. So let me get this straight.. Your expectations for a half priced game in early access was for it to be perfect? We all knew that it was going in so why is everyone acting surprised for real??? Obviously the game will get better overtime as Its still in development so at least we get to be along for the ride.
i got it but decided to refund. it really has potential i believe. liked the visuals, sounds, ffb and physics, but the supper laggy menu and random performance issues, plus wheel issues like steering angle not matching or randomly resetting my fanatec settings made it frustrating i really hope they manage to greatly improve tho as i feel the foundation is there (it is based off rfactor 2 in the end)
Do you think it's better than AC with track and car mods though? Given the number of additional DLCs this will need to get a complete grid I think it'll end up being quite an expensive game? (and the AC community are already doing the majority of these cars / latest track setup)
Guessing you like GT7 better!! Basically LMU is a revised RF2. Car physics, tire model along with FFB is miles better than GT7. It’s not even comparable!!
There is more to game than just that and for that reason it will never reach the playerbase that gt7 has, i prefer gt7 over all pcsims, the only sim i like as much is ac

i wish LMU is on console 🙏.
what u think of the nascar games?
S Alvarez, Bro
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I genuinely thought you entered your name as "Steve Alvarez Bro" because you cba, but then it turned out that it's just being cut off on the HUD 😅
That aside, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that they got rumble strip grip right. There's a load of other issues to still work out, but the driving model is on point. And those engine sounds are gloriously fearsome with headphones on.
I need advice on buying new SIM racing bundle. Right around 1000$ US dollars. Please help 😊
Is a career mode going to be in the full game or is it gonna be like the game play shown.
its built on Rfactor 2 right? how does the physics feel compared to RF2?
Waiting for toca2 video
toca race driver is a gem.
it was the first racing game i played.
You are the GOAT in my book ❤
For sure, no other simulator is even close to the sound this one offers. FInd a high quality onboard video of any of these cars and compare the sounds
I always open super gt's channel searching for GT7, took me 4 min to realize.
Does it have a safety car?
For long races does it offer the chance to swap drivers?
I hope it does. I dont like to ride the entire 24h 😂
Can I ask if any of the 4 hot-fixes that have been released since launch have fixed any of the issues you have brought up?
you take a look at the store options? saw some tracks and vehicles up there
Nice review. Hope u dont mind me asking, why don't you play Forza Motorsport anymore? It's getting much better slowly...
Its not happen fast enough, people is losing fate at turn 10 it might be too late to turn that ship around, and seeing how the treat their own staff is really concerning
The ai looks like a bit equal to project cars 2. Really messy racing a gte car with other classes, lmp1 bumping into you on corners etc. But they can improve alot
All chaos and joking aside, I think it has a lot of potential. Good to see Le mans/WEC get some representation from its own title
Helo super Gt I have a question about an issue I’m having for multiple times now any time I tried to start a race in the daily race The race never star there is never in my car start moving by itself can you shed some light in this issue? Not sure if you have the same problem. Thank you.
I really liked the physics of the GT but haven't trted the prototypes yet. I found it very immersive and the A.I was quite good. I had only a few spinners and the prototypes had no problems blowing by me Maybe you're too good Steve?
I LOVE the physics in the GT!!
can someone help me i installed the game but even if i play at max graphics and 1080p it looks like 144k and the graphics look like ultralow and the game just randoimly crashes i have an rtx 4070 idk whats wrong with the game
Will a safety car, FCY or a red flag happen for bad weather like if it starts raining hard or for fog?
How do you get you mclaren steering wheel working on PS5 ?
Is it the same studio who made project cars?
Super bro what console do you use I wanna get the Wheel you use but need to know if it works for the console I got
Amazing video!
i got it but decided to refund. it really has potential i believe. liked the visuals, sounds, ffb and physics, but the supper laggy menu and random performance issues, plus wheel issues like steering angle not matching or randomly resetting my fanatec settings made it frustrating
i really hope they manage to greatly improve tho as i feel the foundation is there (it is based off rfactor 2 in the end)
Exactly. Thing things that should absolutely work don't right now. I was hyped for this for 4 months and I refunded after 50 minutes.
The game is on early access
Do you think it's better than AC with track and car mods though? Given the number of additional DLCs this will need to get a complete grid I think it'll end up being quite an expensive game? (and the AC community are already doing the majority of these cars / latest track setup)
I hope Motorsports will be able to continue development🤞
will you do gameplay videos of this game at all?
Guessing you like GT7 better!!
Basically LMU is a revised RF2. Car physics, tire model along with FFB is miles better than GT7.
It’s not even comparable!!
Yep, its so funny seeing GT7 player complaining on RF2 physics and FFB.
There is more to game than just that and for that reason it will never reach the playerbase that gt7 has, i prefer gt7 over all pcsims, the only sim i like as much is ac
@@andreasmoller9798quick FYI for you, Playerbase on console is higher in any game. Not because games are better but because games are more accessible! More affordable! And the majority are playing with controllers! Now I understand per your comment that you haven’t played pc Sims so I don’t blame you for your bias but unfortunately I pity your ignorance!! You don’t see Max Verstappen and other pro drivers playing GT7!! But wait GT7 is better right!! Give me a brake kid!!
@@radstandardracing2945yes its better than this lemans game, because its offer more content more things to do, the lemans game barely have any content, and you can jump straight into gt7 without the fuss, its vr experince is one of the best in racing games, no other racing game have that kind of detail in car interior witch increases the immersion, yes gt7 is less realistic but more realistic dosent make a game better there is more to it than that, did you also missed the part where i Said i play ac
Is there any damage modeling? I saw more than a fee hits from the AI and it looked like there wasn't any.
I know I won't get a response but there's hope lol
That HUD looks suspiciously familiar...
3:26 12 is the weakest tc setting while 1 is the strongest
I’m looking forward to gtr revival more after seeing this
