This was my reaction dude haha. Being into extreme metal pretty heavily since I was about 14-15 (34 now), obviously I've seen/heard Cattle Decap. get brought up before, a million times over. But I let what I thought was sort of a silly, ridiculous name turn me away from giving them a fair listen (says the dude who still listens to Aborted, Infant Annihilator, Genethliac, etc etc...Idk, my internal logic is a flawed catastrophe haha). This song fuckin slays man, I'm kicking myself for not checking them out WAY sooner. Fuck

I’m from San Diego, I started seeing these dudes in 05 when I was 15…I’m 33 now and it’s crazy to think about. These dudes have been the most consistent band/artists I’ve heard over the years and makes my cattle decap tattoos even more special.
The lyrics alone can describe why I loved metal my entire life. Straight to the point honesty about the human condition. A morbid and violent self reflection of how utterly fucked up humanity is.
Death atlas was incredibly rehashed and uninspired, this song however sounds like the brutal ugly epic masterpiece that monolith of inhumanity was. The clean sections are so fucking forced on Death atlas, where as on inhumanity it felt organic and had a purpose, rather than plastered on.
God this fucking RIPS If only ONE SONG off the new album goes this hard already, this is absolutely going to be the best album of 2023 no questions asked. ❤
It is seriously impressive how well Travis can enunciate while doing harsh vocals. There are times when his voice is so clear that it sounds as if he's just talking in this one. In general, badass track.

Ever since Dave McGraw joined with the band (he restrained himself at Death Atlas onwards with less chaotic 16th's on the double bass at 300 BPM and lesser gravity blasting), as well as Travis Ryan started doing goblin singing vocals in Regret And The Grave, they have been progressing in that direction up to this present day.
When I first heard "To Serve Man" you would have had to pay me to believe the same band would augment their sound with black metal and groove metal. I've been listening to Cattle Decapitation for over ten years and they get better and better with time.
I turned it up full blast and at the end of the song my speakers caught fire and portals to hell opened up where demons came out and filled my room with blazing fire, blood and screams of inhumanity from the underworld. THANKS GUYS!!!! \,,/ Looking forward to the new album!

I have been a fan of them for over a decade and it's safe to say they have nailed each of their products and would always step the fuck up every time to improve time after time with more higher quality album! I don't have social media anymore to praise these guys. So I hope to see them on UK tours in the future! I have seen them live so many times and their production on live shows has been excellent as well! I hope they keep pushing and never stop producing high quality materials 💥💚 Edit: I am someone who is friends with the guys, I will of course be critic if they deliver poor quality, but they haven't done that yet, so for anyone who wants to give them a try/listen, then listen to their previous albums, you will understand their concepts and their quality even more 👍

Im not usually into stuff this heavy by wow Cattle Decapitation is so brutal and badass I love them! They just have such a addicting sound and actually have melody in their music compared to some other bands.
This brings so much sound from Death Atlas, but it still feels fresh and intense. You gotta love how this guys keep up with the expectations after so many years... they are just masters at their craft.
Was thinking wow this is some good death metal until the pre-chorus (?) when it suddenly took a turn for classic Emperor and I was truly blown away, what a tonal shift. Great song
I love this band. Death Atlas is one of my favorite albums of all time. So much so I named my child Atlas after it. One of my favorite metal vocalists and one of the best of all time as well. 🤘🏻. Stoked for 2023.

My favorite band for so many reasons! You guys are fucking awesome! Their albums just keep getting better and better!
This brings so much sound from Death Atlas, but it still feels fresh and intense. You gotta love how this guys keep up with the expectations after so many years... they are just masters at their craft.

You mean the part where the volume went down. Or the riff that was playing during it. I think the riff was quite good akshually.

Was thinking wow this is some good death metal until the pre-chorus (?) when it suddenly took a turn for classic Emperor and I was truly blown away, what a tonal shift. Great song

I love this band. Death Atlas is one of my favorite albums of all time. So much so I named my child Atlas after it. One of my favorite metal vocalists and one of the best of all time as well. 🤘🏻. Stoked for 2023.

That's extremely ironic. If that kid grows up and decides to read the lyrics to that album, they'll be very confused and probably question your intelligence... Almost all the lyrics are about how procreation is immoral in the modern age

Then you got the James Webb Space Telescope that launched recently... Easy inroad for a kid to get into astronomy if he wanted.

If it wasn't for this band I wouldn't able to delve into second wave Black Metal because the combinations of Travis Ryan's shrieks, Dave McGraws blast beats and Josh Elmores tremolo picking and atmospheric riffs 🤘🏾 My favourite band of all time. Look forward to new Terrasite record and Australian Tour this year
