Fcking amazing, from 0 times over 90m in a lifetime to 4x in one competition, were the conditions so optimal and did Johannes had the best day of his life or what? :D
You know what I love most about this? When he hits that 94.44 every competitor in the video is smiling and applauding. This is the only sport I know where when ya boy/girl is lit that day, the other folks get behind them and encourage them every step of the way. That is beautiful.

Wow at that time the javelin was lighter! If you calculate the length of Vetter with an old lighter javelin they would be over 100meters. So basically he has the WR
Adrian Zelezny threw his WR with the same Javelin model all modern athletes throw with. The older Javelin WR is at almost 105m. Get your facts straight.
This dude used to hit 90+ regularly, now his big stature and age both have taken him down. He now can't even throw 85+ regularly. He should lose weight a little.
I wonder how many times in the past 100 years or whatever time span, lets say each ten years, javelins get misthrowned and impale someone in the crowd watching ?
@@askmeanything2892 maybe , it's more like a cricketer hits 100 or 150 in bilateral odi but struggle to hit even 50 runs in world cup finals ,IAM just telling example
Well, those you think that doping is a good thing. Just re-viewed a report of GDR´s doping methods. It covered the whole (tiny) country. Many athletes still suffer. Some are transgenders, because they did not cope with the body, they were living it, and that changed as a result of medicine, that had been given, without informing them, what the content is. Other athletes trained hard but did not win the medals they should, thanks to that unfair game, that was played those days. Girls with hairs growing up to her navel and deep manly voices. They were refused to give interviews, by the way. Every thing is written down on paper, german accuracy, so no doubt about it. Back to the question: how, do you think, Mr Hohn was able to throw so far? Only good technique?
None, it’s extremely difficult to get away with it, and I have no doubts hes not doping, he just has a very good workout routine, conditioning routines, and good coaching
I would highly doubt that, it’s easy to do but very easy to get caught, he may look it he isn’t, hes got a good coach, a good workout and conditioning routine, and with great technique
4 over 90m. Freaking javelin terminator
Yes over 97m
Zelezny 98,48m wr...

He threw 89,35 m last week to win the national championship

Jan zelezny had 5 throws over 90m in a game
totaler RESPEKT!grandios:)
Takeaway: Shouting at the javelin after you release it would make it fly further
I spy Devon Allen congratulating him.
Where can i find this nike tee?

Jawohl! :) Let`s say DANKE to all athletes and throwers, especially from GDR and its cotribution and heritage :)

Shit, he's from Germany . Check his piss😱
Be sure that his piss has probably been checked 100 times this year…. clean throwing in Germany these years !!! :)
ROIDSSSS
Still couldn’t get an Olympic medal.. got to feel sorry for his luck🙏🏻
Who’s here after he threw 97.76?
I'm not
I’d love a whole shot of it. You never appreciate how far it travels on tv.

John McCormack it happens in throwing events, and most field events overall, sprinters aren't usually this humble tho.
I am an Arab from Iraq. I am a strong player. I have a goal of 70 meters, but I do not have a club. I will play in a club. I am 23 years old.
Gotta love sportsmanship
Pole vault competitors are like this as well for the most part.
I'm doing this in school rn and my record is 10 meters lmao
My record is 25 m
Congrats. Mine is 5 m because I'm too stupid for this 😂
10 metres compared to 90+..god you must be terrible
A new WR 🤣😅
Gratuliere
He might be one of the greatest athlete to not won an Olympic gold medal, as an India i hope he does not do it any time soon but what a champion ✌️

Wow. Mr. Vetter you are supreme.

Uwe Hohn aus der DDR 104 Meter geworden!

Anyone have a link to his first throw of 90.75m?
He is throwing continuously above 90m becoz the wind speed was 32kmph on that day...
Wind is helping him
Did the wind helped him on his 97.76 throw?
He is great javelin thrower but this time air direction might have helped him to go above 90
He looks like beefed up Tintin

Word :) there are a lot of gorgeous ladies behind him, starring at his ass ))
Still don't get it why he failed so badly in Tokyo Olympics
He got injured in second throw also he was not in form. So i think
I have not watched the competition but I heard the ground was slippery, which was bad for his throwing style.
No use cause he chokes in the big events
