I think it's mostly that we don't see the full effects of the changes she made, since she was mostly in her own "prehistory". I mean erasing yourself and your entire timeline is a pretty gnarly consequence. Also as for not getting hunted by time wraiths, I just assumed since she was from a timeline that was the result of someone else's actions, that her working to alter that timeline was the goal of the speedforce anyway
The reason Nora’s time traveling did not affect anyone is because of thawne’s involvement in it; think about it: thawne needed Nora to be alive(at least till a certain point) to make himself free of the dagger, so knowing that he has mastered time traveling, he guided Nora to only make the slightest footprint.
I would like to see a speedster in a future season have a kinetic-energy absorption power. Basically using their Speed Force energy to absorb the speed of fast moving objects, like bullets to increase his/her speed.

What I still don't understand though--- when Barry ran back in time the FIRST time (season 1, episode 15 "Out of Time"), Barry went through a breach or whatever but entered into his own body from that time. Every other time he time traveled he was outside of his "present" body. And since he was seen entering through a wormhole then he couldn't of been "reversing time"??

Eobard remembers because time doesn’t affect him. He said it himself, if a person harnesses the negative speed force, they won’t get affected by time. This is why he told barry to take Nora there and how he wasn’t erased from the timeline when Eddie died
But there's another timeline. The one that we never saw. The one where Barry was the Flash much later, before Eobard got stranded in the past. Eobard 'becoming' Wells created the second known timeline (that we all consider to be the original). The Wiki does a great job of mapping it out. It always fascinates me that there's a completely unknown timeline that we know very little about; and how the Thawne-Wells manipulated the Dark Matter explosion to bring about Barry's change early to get him home.
That's because 2020 was actually the original timeline, but when RF went back in time and killed Barry's mother it altered it, which resulted in 2020 flash being (possibly) erased due to Barry's trauma keeping him from becoming the flash, and left Eobard stranded in the past. 2014 timeline is an alternate timeline in itself, which makes it pretty dumb how erasing Thawne didn't fix things and saving Nora later on made things worse.
I think the reason Eobard knew Nora reversed time is because of her strong connection to the negative speed force , therefore making a reaction strong enough for eobard to feel it. Just a thought

Flashtime lets them take all the time they need to solve any problem, Reverse Flash splitting himself means you no longer have to wprry about time remnants, time-rewinding means no consequences for altering the timeline, and, oh yeah, they can BRING PEOPLE BACK TO LIFE via lightning hand defibrillators, time rewinding, etc. Speedsters are gods now.
Doesn't this also count for what Barry did in Out Of Time/Rouge Time? He essentially rewound time, becoming the version of himself from earlier in his life, rather than a secondary version of himself, and the changes he made went down as if they were the timeline just accepting what was happening.
How I think it works: There's a point where you're running so fast that everything else, from her perspective, is staying completely still. Nora is able to run faster than this, causing her to run through time in reverse. Sorry if this is worded poorly.
It feels more and more that Thorne has come from the future where basically the timeline of events, that we as the views are seeing, is complete so he would of had knowledge of the "Purple Speedster' from the past as he was a flash enthusiast so pair with his ever expanding knowledge and understanding of time and the Speedforce is it really so hard to say that Thorne has just been putting two and two together the whole time with his collective knowledge.
The person (Jenni Ognats) Nora was based on kind if had that power in comic books, but she needed her grandfather's (Barry Allen) treadmill to do it and couldn't do it on her own like in the show.

So it's essentially End Game's time travelling. She can go back and interact with things but doesn't affect what happens in the future. Where as the only way you can affect the future in End Game is if you misplace or do something with the Infinity Stones.
Yeah I get it. Regular time travel can mess up the timeline because when you change something, you did while time was simultaneously moving forward meaning you disrupted the time stream. When you travel back in time, you're causing time to move backwards, while allowing you to continue move forward thus moving ahead of time itself. So when you change events while moving time backwards, by the time you allow time to move forward again, the changed event will be perceived as having always been time's predetermined destination. That's like keeping your parents from seeing shit you don't want them to see in your room by finding a way to distract them while you hide whatever, thus by the time they reach your room, rather than them seeing what you're hiding, they see what your room looked like without the bad shit in there. That therefore causes them to think that your room was always looking the way it then when you showed it to them
Time rewind works like this, sure, sounds right. Problem is that Nora really traveled back and forth in time. It's pretty simple if you think about it. After Barry brought Nora back to the future, he said that he will sense her if she tries to run back in time and she gets really frustrated by it. She goes so far that she asks Thawne for an alternate way to travel back in time. This would not be a problem AT ALL if all she did was rewind time to get back to the past. Now here's the really REALLY simple part. Why is she not chased by Timewraiths then? Really easy. Who taught Nora to travel back in time in the first place? The only one who knows what he's doing and doesn't get chased by Timewraiths ever? Who doesn't break time except when he dies and still exists? The Reverse Flash himself.

I think they explained that when Barry and Nora met the eobard/wells during the time hack episode. He knew Nora was from an alternative future then when he met her in the 2040 prison he was able to piece things together. He has said that he is the only speedster that can properly manipulate the time line
Joshua Wilkes right, because the speedforce drawings are always constant so he was able to keep himself up to date on stuff he's not supposed to remember.
Nora messed with time about 61 times (when she went back to before crisis to see her father, the 53 times she did it in one episode and all the times she tracked between 2049 and 2028)
When the reverse flash gets released from his death roll, he knew that that Nora Allen learn how to reverse time because she had been a part of the negative speed force. So, Thawn and Nora are connected through that speed force (knowledge). Evidence shows; when Jay Garrick(the flash) went to retrieve Barry Allen from the future scene seeing Iris killed by Savatar, Jay Garrick has connection to the speed force (knowledge) and knew the location of Barry Allen. Another Evidence shows; when Wally West came to visit the Barry Allen. Wally knew that something is wrong with the speed force because he spent time going into it to study and have greater connection to it. This explain that he has the connection to the speed force (knowledge). Wally west knew to blame Barry Allen but Barry had no knowledge of what he had done to the speed force in the first place. Which is why that knowledge is not in the speed force. Non of the speedster knew what Black Lighting's energy would do to speed force, nor even thought to think there'll be changes in the force. So it's essentially End Game's time travelling. She can go back and interact with things but doesn't affect what happens in the future. Where as the only way you can affect the future in End Game is if you misplace or do something with the Infinity Stones.

Yeah I get it. Regular time travel can mess up the timeline because when you change something, you did while time was simultaneously moving forward meaning you disrupted the time stream. When you travel back in time, you're causing time to move backwards, while allowing you to continue move forward thus moving ahead of time itself. So when you change events while moving time backwards, by the time you allow time to move forward again, the changed event will be perceived as having always been time's predetermined destination. That's like keeping your parents from seeing shit you don't want them to see in your room by finding a way to distract them while you hide whatever, thus by the time they reach your room, rather than them seeing what you're hiding, they see what your room looked like without the bad shit in there. That therefore causes them to think that your room was always looking the way it then when you showed it to them
Time rewind works like this, sure, sounds right. Problem is that Nora really traveled back and forth in time. It's pretty simple if you think about it. After Barry brought Nora back to the future, he said that he will sense her if she tries to run back in time and she gets really frustrated by it. She goes so far that she asks Thawne for an alternate way to travel back in time. This would not be a problem AT ALL if all she did was rewind time to get back to the past.
Now here's the really REALLY simple part. Why is she not chased by Timewraiths then? Really easy. Who taught Nora to travel back in time in the first place? The only one who knows what he's doing and doesn't get chased by Timewraiths ever? Who doesn't break time except when he dies and still exists? The Reverse Flash himself.

I'm like a lot late, but rewinding time and running isn't basically a instant teleportation? cuz like, Nora was in point A, and flash in point C, so Nora rewind times and gets to point B, barry getting back to point B tho, so to everyone Nora was in point A and then instantly in point B... right? edit: i know this is obvious, but if you use the time travel to travel to the exactly time when you entered the portal, but in another place, it would be like a Cisco's portal?
When nora was trying to stop cicada by reversing time she couldn't go back further because she can't rewind barry because he is already in the speedforce and can't just rewind him out

I think they explained that when Barry and Nora met the eobard/wells during the time hack episode. He knew Nora was from an alternative future then when he met her in the 2040 prison he was able to piece things together. He has said that he is the only speedster that can properly manipulate the time line
Joshua Wilkes right, because the speedforce drawings are always constant so he was able to keep himself up to date on stuff he's not supposed to remember.
Nora messed with time about 61 times (when she went back to before crisis to see her father, the 53 times she did it in one episode and all the times she tracked between 2049 and 2028)

When the reverse flash gets released from his death roll, he knew that that Nora Allen learn how to reverse time because she had been a part of the negative speed force. So, Thawn and Nora are connected through that speed force (knowledge).
Evidence shows; when Jay Garrick(the flash) went to retrieve Barry Allen from the future scene seeing Iris killed by Savatar, Jay Garrick has connection to the speed force (knowledge) and knew the location of Barry Allen.
Another Evidence shows; when Wally West came to visit the Barry Allen. Wally knew that something is wrong with the speed force because he spent time going into it to study and have greater connection to it. This explain that he has the connection to the speed force (knowledge). Wally west knew to blame Barry Allen but Barry had no knowledge of what he had done to the speed force in the first place. Which is why that knowledge is not in the speed force. Non of the speedster knew what Black Lighting's energy would do to speed force, nor even thought to think there'll be changes in the force.

RagDoll because Nora as she was then no longer existed so time had to start scratch with her, especially if Iris ends up pregnant before 2024 which the writers will more than likely do, thus Nora absolutely has to get erased. It wasn't like when Barry created Flashpoint how he was only having his memories rewritten as opposed to his entire being since he messed with time after he was already born and returned to the present before time could erase him in the past

Maybe Thawn was able to know because he has developed the ability to project his mind a few moments into the future like Barry could do in the comics. But comics could you make a video explaining whether or not Thawn stole the ages of his prison guards back at the finale of season five because he kinda looked younger

It... doesn't. The writers have forgotten so many of their time travel rules, its so frustrating. The show runners aren't talking to each other about this time travel stuff.
I think that purple lightning is when the speed isnt given to them by natural (apart from drug and corruption) e.g. iris got it from the meta switch and nora got it through genetics
